ego is the guy in the driver's seat and she's killing the ego right that would be a happy ending so look this is not what I was expecting okay Hy like like I said the biggest hits that I've heard from her are definitely more like mainstream kind of pop this is Pop rockish this is almost like some avaline MGK like pop rock kind of stuff you know what I'm saying it's not what I was expecting but I like it it sounds great the mix on here is really good very balanced mix the whole way through I love her vocal chain very crisp very full I love the layers I love the way she's singing I like the runs that she's hitting the notes that she's hitting I like the melody choices that she chose love it sounds great the lyrics a little bit on the sad side but at the same time you have some acceptance It's introspective right and you have some acceptance and you know what you need to do and you're trying to grow right she's trying to kill her ego cuz she knows it's not the best thing for her she's got to either get rid of her ego or it's going to just drive her down a a path of Destruction right so it's kind of a self-healing song in that sense it's just sad because she's at a point where you know she's she she is putting on an act and it's like it seems what you say it's it's like I seem like I'm doing better than I am really essentially and secretly behind closed doors you know I'm not as good as it as it seems as you guys think think you know life is perfect or whatever like I'm going through it too so I love the writing on here and the visuals I like the visuals it's her versus herself and it's you know it's it's a dichotomy of herself and she has to beat the ego and the ego is trying to kill her and she's trying to kill the ego and that's how she feels and that's what she that's the internal conflict that she has and it's a simple video there's no over sexualization there's no special effects twering whatever it's just good old simple MTV Music Video you know what I'm saying it's just about the music and it's got a story that's told so overall very solid I like it I like the sound of everything I like the writing I like the visuals wasn't what I was expecting but definitely pleasantly surprised you could say so this I definitely could playback this has a good vibe to it it is a little the energy on it is is up and it's catchy but when you listen to the lyrics and pay attention it's kind of like a little dose of reality you know so it's not it's not going to put you in like a bad or a sad mood but it will kind of like bring you down a bit you know it'll get you thinking you know how how's this how's this affect my life do I have an ego do I need to fix my ego what am I going through that I need to fix you know because it's it's a song of growth essentially like she wants to grow she wants to do better so very solid I'm here for it I'm down to check out more she sounds great she's super talented if youall want me to check out more let me know
