All right, Angela is here. Let's take a turn and talk some weather. We're gonna see some rain pushing through. Yes. Chance of a couple of storms and the heat and humidity continue. We've had four days in a row in the nineties and we were close again today so far missing 90 with a high of 89. Thanks to some clouds left over from some overnight rain and storms. 8969 today averages are eight three and 64. So we are definitely running above that and this little heat wave is expected to continue all the way through the end of the work week and even for the start of the weekend, it's still going to be a little muggy on Saturday. We'll get to that seven day in just a 2nd. 89 degrees right now. Dew point sitting in that uncomfortable slash miserable range in the upper sixties and low seventies. It's the reason it feels so sticky out there. Heat index or feels like temperatures. 93 Indianapolis, 95 Shelbyville feeling like 97 degrees in Bloomington. So continue to take precautions from the high heat, high humidity and continue to watch live Doppler 13 radar. Right now, the focus of the shower and thunderstorm activity is to our south, uh Southern Bartholomew County has some heavy rain that has since dissipated, but we still have some slow moving storm in between Bedford and Mitchell. Heavy rain may quickly lead to some flash flooding. A dangerous lightning as well. We remain under the threat of severe weather tonight that goes away tomorrow. Although a stray storm is still possible on Thursday and then the severe threat returns on Friday afternoon at this point, a low threat of severe storms the next couple of days, that's one weather impact the other is the heat, especially during the afternoon and early evening hours. That time frame from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. we encourage you to find the shade, have plenty of water on you as heat index values will be in the range of 95 to 100 again tomorrow and again on Friday, a few strong storms as well. Remember to go inside during those storms pop up storm tomorrow afternoon, highs in the upper eighties and low nineties, very similar set up on Friday. Although the coverage of the storms may increase a bit on Friday before rain. Chances go back to zero for the end of the weekend in the early part of next week. That's when we get relief from the high heat, high humidity. Still upper eighties, low nineties, the next couple of days still muggy with a slight rain chance, mainly east and south Saturday.
