2024 Eagles Initial Roster Cutdown Reaction: Who Stayed Who Was Cut Surprise Keepers Practice Squad

[Music] all right this ain't Terminator but Judgment Day has arrived and sorry to say some of you Androids robots have been put out of service I mean you guys aren't you're humans you fighting for the resistance but you didn't make the cut John Conor said no to your future all right anyways um we're going to take a look at the first initial 52 cuz we have a roster spot open uh with one guy currently available or one spot but you never know um how things going to shake out just cuz you made the initial first 53 doesn't mean your your spot is safe got to wait a couple days you know couple business days until H Roseman is done uh closing down shopping doing business so we'll see how things shake out and maybe potentially where they could go um and look at some other positions um that they want to uh Shore up or you know just uh make some adjustments too what's up it's your boy sron coming back at you with another analysis video the casid you not that's real name Eagles roster first look at the 2024 team so um the guys are on the books for the meanwhile um we know a lot of these guys are safe but you know there's still some bubble guys that could still be displaced um and some you know could be um kept on the practice qu but we don't no we can't pencle in some of these names because um there there's been some injuries there there's been some guys who been stashed and you know we're playing the numbers game and then you know around the league some pretty premium Talent has been cut as well so we might want to bring them in anyways let's get to the offensive not offensive in bad way but but uh the attacking side but quarterback we kept Jaylen Herz canny picket and Tanner mcke no surprises there will G was never going to make it so you know might see on the practice squad but I don't know I kind of doubt it cuz I I don't think he's a Difference Maker uh running back we kept three with saquon Barkley Kenny G Willam will shley no surprise there because K uh Kenneth was a uh fifth round draft pick a couple years ago and will Chipley was a fourth round pick this year we weren't going to cut that you know um Teran Davis price Milton uh Milton William sorry um Kendall Milton and um Lou Nichols just don't offer as much as they needed to you know to valid validate a fourth uh Russ spot and even then we can just keep them keep them on the practice squad all right we go kind of light here um with one guy hitting IR we'll get to him in a second but AJ Brown Devon Smith Johan doson Britain cubby Johnny Wilson obviously these two are superstars Johan Dawson we just traded for so there's no way we're going to get rid of him Brit C is our special team's uh punt retainer he bring he's so that he could bring some value um in the slot this year and uh Johnny Wilson you know he he flashed some but uh he still needs to uh get his weight up you know get his route running better I'll be more consistent so um he'll be learning and uh you know anash Smith he started to show that you know he was worthy of a spot but but we put on IR he has to miss at Le he has to miss at least the first four games and we'll see how things shake out from there go extremely light here at tight end with two with Dallas SC and Grant Kera um obviously one and two but we looking for a tight end three we might play the practice squad game you know I tag you come up sit back down you do that three times before you have to put them on the roster um with finality and we'll see how this shakes out but you know um could be a game of musical cheers but we'll see Albert o also went on IR we just have a know a man crush we're in a Love Fest with this guy so he hasn't produced but we see um the bigger picture and he could be a monster with tight end three for us but has very little special teams value and his blocking leaves much to be desired so interesting all right offensive tackle we went four Jordan my laud Lane Johnson fry Johnson and Darren Kenner and I will say the Tyler scene maybe could be seen as a backup maybe he's kind of on the low the not lower in L lower party as far as like a a backup to the backup um but it's yet to be seen he's still battling um an injury but he might just be uh focusing on the guard spot but kind of like here and Daren Kenn is a surprise um you know we also let go Brett to sorry Brett to who could be um a starter potential starter at any of the five positions along the offensive lines uh we'll see if he makes it through to our practice squad offensive guard with L Dickerson maai beckon who be the starter presumably and todler steene but he might be on a short leash because his pass blocking leads a little bit to be desired but um in the Run game he should be a monster and Trevor Keegan who you know the Ricky flashed you know played him only at left guard but I believe he probably will switch to the right side um in emergency but this is concerning um cam Jens is the only Center we have on deck which makes me believe that we we're going to put a um on the practice squad because we have to have someone who can back up L dick like they said can do it in a pinch he was a center um in college but we don't want to shuffle around the o line you know um unless we absolutely have to and um there could be a couple other guys hit the practice squad uh got lib um we have the international I say Extinction exemption um also from a Australia forget his name but um we got to we got to work on this that depth because McMahon I believe he also we cut him he's a center and um he if he clears waivers I'd like us to put him on the practice squad all right um defense we ke keep six a a little bit of extra there but Bryce Huff Josh swiat Brandon Graham Nolan Smith and JX hunt so um we brought him over in freeny so of course we're going to keep him started last year um his his last raw first round pick so he would go nowhere and third round pick this year so uh he may be raw but you know he's showing better than expected and uh he should be one of our maybe best uh Edge rushers in space already as a coverage guy Patrick Johnson just played his way into the roster as he has the last you know four years so um four years running now but um I don't know man I mean his spot still ain't safe I have a feeling we might cut someone here on defense to make room um elsewhere right defensive tackle we go heavy here Jaylen Carter Jordan Davis Milton Williams Mor jumo Marlon and Thomas Booker the fourth so Thomas really plays well into the roster look sharp got some sacks or had a sack in the Patriots game I mean he looked good and uh he's been grinding you know um how Rosman shouted out his work ethic and he's a guy just you know he deserves a spot uh I still could see him getting dropped to the practice squad but I think it was just more of us hoping that um well believing that he wouldn't clear waivers so you know um a lot of these guys if they're vested you know veterans we cut them and try to ring them back week one so their salary for the year isn't guaranteed um but you know the the these other guys who are playing on rookie deals and and uh you know we drafted or he brought in um on Ricky frent deals is a whole different SPI Spiel they has the clear waivers for us to be able to sign them other guys they just get straight released and um they're available to sign with anyone all right um Jaylen Carter uh obviously draft pick Jord Davis obvious draft pick we have high hopes for him to be able to replace uh fletch's spot and uh well not production because you know we'll see how it goes he's not a sack guy that's that Fletch is should say was um but snaps Moro J he's going to get some burn with us Marlin you know he can be a solid guy all right linebacker we go heavy for us with five Devon white Zack B and Kobe Dean J my troter and um Ben vanum and I just watched a great um film review and uh analysis by um Philly film room go and check them out man just excellent um I forget your boy name but he does great work I mean highlighted he highlight the linebacker position and um who should be starting who's deserving a playing time and all that and you know um Devon white he's going to be a starter to start out as is Zack Bond and I try to tell this idiot you know commentor that Kobe Dean ain't starting man um I would say that he he could take one of these guys job I'm not going to say who it is but that's you know still he has to climb the ranks Jeremiah trer is still a rookie but he looks you know um pretty Advanced for rookie compared to a lot of other guys and uh Ben van suan he just looked locked in and you know much better than he did last year still needs some work but you know he's a diamond in the rough wor worth polishing all right corner back um we keep six here um not really heavy I thought you could go seven but Josh job didn't really show himself in the preseason but we go darus slay Isaiah Rogers who probably starts outside opposite slay qu Mitchell Nichol starter key Ringo back up to um is Rogers and quen being the backup to darus slave for anything were to happen Cooper to Jean um backup nickel and Eli rcks back up maybe to both sides but and I like I like the talent here you know uh much upgraded he's healthy he's back you know he looks good for a rookie he looks improved um he looks you know like he's going to be working in progress but you know and who knows with get out R but this is a talent for him to be one of the I would say maybe the least talented guy here says something cuz he was playing pretty good uh pretty well last year all right safety we keep five and one of these is kind of ify for me but we'll get to him in a second blanket ship starter CJ Gardner Johnson starter James Bradbury Devonte Maddox backup you know and he could play at nickel and also outside corner and the pinch and trist McCullum who was the upstart so he looked really good in the pron he deserves a spot I'm happy we you know didn't chance with waivers for him so um happy to see these guys out here James bradburry we it's a money thing let's be honest you know so um other than that he wouldn't be here I feel so it is what what it is special teams these guys weren't going anywhere they're incumbents from last year Brady man proved himself Jake Elliott money and Rick lado as advertised um so I forgot these the other two they're not on recall but the Callen castles and Raven Clark on um in reserve they went out early this year in um OTAs so we won't be seeing them but um we still want open R Spot there's guys out there available no Brown was cut by the Texans and I was surprised by that but um he could be some we sign and if we did I'd be mad because I'm like I get that you know we have J Jan doson under you know um under control you know as far as the salary goes for the next two years um but Noah Brown you know play has experienced in Kell mois offense um had one of his best years last year I think maybe his second or maybe his best career year U last year I would say career year last year and you know he's available now for free you didn't have to give that third round our way I just I I just love draft picks put them on a premium put them at a premium and you know it kind of hurt but um there's some other guys jack stall is available so might you know look to refurbish and bring him back you know as a tight end three I actually like that move um but yeah man it sh sift through the you know the trash Heap and see what can be had but um where might be looked to uh bring in somebody else I don't know other position I think we're like pretty set we short but our roster is looking in pretty good shape and now we have that that fountain in fountain in Florida going anyways we're going to get a body here on that note but hey you're not even watching though but it's all good cuz I love making videos about the Eagles and I love talking about these boys my first love only love in football don't cheat black men don't cheat um as I said we're going to chunk Deuces but that's officially as always as always it's Fly Eagles Fly and let's
