uh the dreaded rush back home from labor day weekend plans has started our kimberly kravitz checks in from newark liberty international airport on one of the last big travel days before the winter holidays kimberly how is it looking yes the worst of it may be over by now tino we usually expect the airports to be jam-packed especially on a holiday weekend but people are arriving early they're doing their due diligence and so far no complaints at all not at all it's actually very smooth traffic no issues there and everything looks good with checking here i don't think we've had any issues we haven't checked the board yet so hopefully we're all on time i was a little nervous about it but the limousine company was great the traffic was great coming down and just from looking behind you it doesn't look too bad and i hope the rest of everything is smooth just like this even though things are running smoothly here for now a recent study by priceforlimo.com says that newark liberty international airport had the most delayed departures and arrivals on labor day weekend over the last three years as of this morning there were 11 delays and six cancellations the port authority said 1.8 million passengers are expected at new jersey and new york airports this weekend and according to aaa 80 percent of people who are traveling are traveling by car as opposed to airplanes so if you are coming out to newark today be sure to check in early and check your flight boards in newark i'm kimberly kravitz news 12 new jersey
