Disney entertainment channels went dark on a busy sports night. The outage affecting direct TV users after the company was unable to reach a new carriage agreement with Disney. Now this is the second year in a row. ESPN went off the air during the US tennis open. It also interrupted the first full weekend of college football. More than 11 million direct TV subscribers have lost all ESPN network channels, all ABC owned stations and all Disney branded channels. The networks and distributors are at odds over content hoping to find a resolution as soon as possible.
