Delaware state Sen. Sarah McBride at LGBTQ+ Caucus

we know what is on the line we know what is at risk it is our rights and our progress but so too is our sense of belonging and this election we can show a young black girl or a young South Asian girl that she can have dreams that reach for the stars we can show a young kid growing up in a small town in a rural community that he too can be Vice President of the United States and we can show a young trans person that no matter what extremists say or do that here in America they belong they belong in our schools they belong in our community and yes they even belong in the halls of Congress
