defense come out and it's like 11 guys they've got their head in the game and they're playing as one unit they knew it was going to be this option game with the quarterback in the running attack but they've just done such a good job so far staying home playing their ass you saw on that last play right there rallying to the football nowhere for him to go and creating a big on fourth down trying to find his man the completion well past the sticks and he'll go down but not before the big pick up and the first down and WS come to the line with a new set of downs off the play fake on first down he's going to take off and he gets out of there and get some and gets down I might go to Nate bro I might go get a real cut by sitting back in the pocket you can tell he wants to throw the football go through his progressions nothing home take off and slide I love the slide at the end don't take a big shot looking for a crease to the left got the first down and still on his feet and he'll finish back not much there he gets one to the 11 and the gator are in the hurry up back to throw it's Ms coming after it and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete this pass rush is serious man when you watch them on film they do a nice job in the back end taking away all the throws down field he's trying to get to his check down but that pressure gets to him and and that's incomplete a Defender all over him knock the ball to the ground fourth down coming up third and long situations are really hard to convert the defense knows it's going to be pass the pass rushers are getting up field you're under pressure you don't have timing as a result now fourth the incomplete pass fourth down fails and they'll turn it over there are analytics out there in college football that say maybe you can go for that at that point of the field here in the first half still if you don't get it you can come back later in the game make it up score some more points and that mistake an opportunity to find that open space in the defense before pulling the Trigg that's caught it's great and they stop him just of the stick it'll bring up a decision on fourth down they' hope to be able to pick up enough after the catch but a good stop leaves them with a fourth and short really good job by the being physical understanding the situation in the game the ball's going to come out can pick up the first down without it into the end zone back to throw it's MERS quickly complete he'll be stopped just short of the end zone but they'll have it first and goal [Applause] they'd love to start this quarter off with a touchdown right here they'll get in that [Applause] box and the running back gets his second rushing touchdown of the game you want to continue to Fe this gu yeah it's fourth quarter BR it's over here in the four about to kick it off after punching it in for the tchd even if you SC fast it's still over Liberty takes over and the Flames off ready to go to work they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver four wide out set to on either side on second and 10 he's looking to throw going for the big play and a big play on the outside what a job to keep those feet in bounds the completion the Flames racing to the line in the hurry up this defense better not blink I know they've got a lead here in the fourth quarter but just look at who they're going against this quarterback is one of the best in he's got it inside the 15 and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up and there's no quit in this team obviously they're trailing late in the game move from bro who told you to get online with Liberty man Florida has the ball back and here comes the offense how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking AP the def Jess on that last drive he really did I mean that was a master class of just reading coverage and being active L bro Florida unranked bro we reached a two-minute warning and this offense will be quite content just to drain the rest of the time away you got to believe they just want to run it take care care of the football and keep that clock moving on second and nine caught in the back field it's Wilson and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage they'll keep it on the ground they want this clock to move picks up just a few before he's brought down not really willing to take a risk there on Third and long on fourth down looking to pass makes the catch he's got up and they finally make the tackle but this will be a pretty easy conversion for this offense you got to give this quarterback a ton of credit because he showed tremendous confidence on that throw that wasn't just trying to throw to the sticks that was being aggressive and throwing it down the field not a high percentage throw but he had confidence in his guy to win one onone and they keep the drive alive and not much doing there as that defense runs him out of bounds the gator come to the line in the hurry up the receivers often will run their route based on a side adjustment that's caught it's Daniels and the completion gives him a fresh set of downs and keeps this drive moving you can tell this quarterback did his homework coming into this game he has been dissecting this defense with his arm and his mind this will be picked off maybe just the turning point they needed going the other way and he's got room and he's going to take it all the way touchdown Flames how fast did this game just Chang offense in the lead with the football looking great defense makes the big play we've got ourselves a ball game now they'll kick it off and send that defense right back out there to try to score again after the pick [Applause] six from inside the 20 chance for great field position he's brought down after a good return gets it out to the [Applause] 31 the gator sending the off back to work one possession game getting late first order of business just take care of the football so they call this situation four minute offense where you're trying to run the football and throw high percentage passes to maintain possession and bleed the clock this is a very difficult point of the game to execute at a high level though yeah and listen what you understand as an offense is if I get one or two first downs this ball game is over and that's your sole objective not scoring take care of the football get a few first downs walk out with the dev caught over the middle it's Wilson mfield he's got R and stampeding through the defense and it's a fumble after that huge gain big play offense and it has them threatening now first and 10 from the 25 from the shotgun the hand off to the back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense [Applause] just feeds the running back a solid pick up there before the defense is able to make the stop quick timeout called by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense let's see what they've dialed up on Third and long from the 22 to the air it's mer it's complete to the right got some room enter to the goal line he stopped just short of the go line at the one an explosive play has him set up offense takes a timeout 27 seconds left the clock and the scoreboard on their side as they come to the line first and goal he's looking to pass can't make the grab as he was going for six right there the gator headed quickly to the line slams ahead solid fundamentals on that tackle from this freshman defense gets the timeout 20 seconds left on the clock they'll run it on Third and goal get in that box [Applause] man that is exactly what you want your off to do you want to eat clock but if you score go up by two possessions they be C great execution by this offense to put this game away here's the snap looking to throw and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete they'll try to follow that last touchdown with an onside kick looks as if the hands team will be able to recover the ball well here in qu should have been a 50 ball I know the situ looks bleak but have we nothing if we don't have hope David amen I mean keep hope alive pitch this pill around use every second you got make this game Palmer as close as you possibly can crazier things have happened in college football man let's just go find the hands team makes aat yeah and this is why you put your fans team on the field most of the time when you know it's coming and you put those guys that are great catchers of the football the first guys what do they do they go block they go blow somebody up the next guys catch the football secure it get your butt on the ground and most of the time when you do this the ball game is over touch
