legendary clean guitarist Brian May has shared a personal update with fans revealing that he has recently suffered a minor stroke in a hard felt video titled Health hiccup May reassured his followers that he's recovering well and can still play guitar in his message May explained hi folks I hope you're all well out there I'm here to bring you some good news the good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days a week ago I experienced what they called a minor stroke out of the blue I lost control of my arm which was a little scary I have to say I have the most fantastic care and attention from Friendly Hospital blue lights flashing the lot very exciting May went on to say I didn't want to say anything at the time because I didn't want the situation to become a big deal please don't send sympathy it just clutters up my inbox and I really don't want that the good news is that I'm okay I'm following the doctor's orders which means I'm grounded for now I'm not allowed to drive fly or raise my heart rate too high even planes fly overhead are a stress for me right now but overall I'm doing well Brian May's fans have been quick to send their well wishes relieved to hear that the rock icon is recovering and still able to do what he loves most playing guitar as he takes time to focus on his health the music world continues to look forward to his return to the stage we wish Brian May all the best in recovery and we thank you for watching Rock Buzz
