Snoot Game 2: Snoot Harder | I Wani Hug that Gator (Part 1)

[Music] all righty hey hey Mages how's it going welcome welcome welcome to this very sort of somewhat anticipated sequel uh to the snoot game play through uh this was something that I was really h oping to get to a lot earlier on um I'm sure this is something that um a lot of people have hoped people that have watched me do snoot game hope that I do this too it is I want to hug that Gator a game that also is from cave Manon uh which follows the same premise of snoot game but instead it's a brand new uh IP thing um and I was really I really liked how how much of like like a well polished visual novel snoot game was as compared to uh Volcano High and I'm like okay yeah you got my attention this this did not have to be as quality the the quality was there and it did not it did not deserve to have that much quality uh in Snook game um and then uh that made me go like okay yeah sure I'll I'll I'll do hug that Gator CU it the the first game was great and um yeah I'm just going to do it I'm going to do straight up um the fun part is that um this is a new story this is a completely new story and I have no idea what it entails I have seen nothing of the game um I just saw some clips of characters just to make some art but that's it so I'm going to go ahead and get started um I felt like really low energy coming in cuz I'm like I'm kind of half tired but uh hopefully when we start I will be in a much better mood also I got rid of the got rid of the the the the furry ears for now just stick with the good old Mage Hood uh okay let's get started so I'm going to start up the game hopefully it doesn't break I've only tested it once like five minutes ago hopefully it doesn't break on me please don't break on me all right great that oh no oh wait aha there we go yeah but there's no sound and I and I know why there's no sound cuz I muted the game off to a great start all right so this is I want to hug that Gator have not I haven't even like pressed play so I have no idea [Music] um so I only messed around with some of the options so I'm going to go into them now oh it's hard to find my mouse on the screen all right so we got starts which we'll do um I just saw this start from apparently you could be able to start the game but have it so that you get to have a certain ending is what I assume this is that's really interesting okay that's if you want to just like just take a look at the other endings like just straight up I suppose uh load options let's look into the options uh I already messed with some of the stuff uh got full screen uh all these are enabled by default sure enable Discord Rich presence I don't know what that is um I I assume it's like yeah do you want people to know that you're playing this trash um and yeah Saucy images I'll I'll enable it I I'll enable it this time because um I I saw what they were I you can go into the system file the the game files there's only two and they're not that lwd it's really not that lwd so I'm like all right if we get it we get it um oh this looks fine might want to turn up the music a bit but I'll I'll leave it alone for now and we got extras help it's the uh toggle syy of self voicing oh okay it's your standard uh visual novel it's the version that we're on it's made with this with Ren Pai achievements there's achievements in this game and it's pretty much just get the endings mods I don't have any mods we're going to play it straight up gallery here's all the gallery stuff but nothing is uh available cuz yeah there's also drawings start creating the art and it'll appear here which I don't know how this works will I get to draw stuff in game or do I just draw stuff and drop it into this certain file into the certain folder not sure but with that I'm going to go ahead and start the game and hopefully I will get to hug that Gator oh okay um I think I know what that uh okay let me I'm going to get rid of that stuff on the for in the corner I think that's developer tools in the more temperate weather of the Midwest okay so so we're still in the same town th this is literally snoot game too snooting harder snooting harder than ever before uh just give me one second just want to drop some stuff into this uh into streamlabs okay great summer sleeves are in style this year that jacket's Aroma blog better be right the suede thing is killing me well at least it's guaranteed to start getting chillier in a few weeks besides I'm not sure I'm besides I'm sure to make an impression with this Amber cromi and Flint is all the rage these days and we're back we're back into this town full of Fairly attractive uh scales dinos sure I sigh and lean back in the hard plastic seating off the Metro I'm on my way to my first day in a new school ordinarily I'd just be glued to my phone on the trip but there's just too much on my mind right now my FOC stit my folks of s requires us to move frequently which makes which gives me little time to fit in much like how a rolling stone gathers no Moss I could never make a friend I'd keep for longer than a year just a lot of promises to keep in touch that petered off within months admittedly it's my fault in the end but that's all going to change starting today I'm going into senior year now it's my very last chance to prepare for the world ahead and I think I'm a little bit too loud sorry about that I'm I'm so energetic for this but I'm redlining luckily for me the cards are stacked in my favor I feel around my backpack for my DSLR till my fingers can can absent-mindedly fiddle with the modile that's right I'm a huge photography nerd St Hammond High School is ex St Hammond St Hammond High School is extremely well known for their artists as culum in other words I'll be surrounded by people that share my interests even if it's a bit of a ride away speaking of rides I was hoping that my parents could drive me there today by the time I was up though they already left for for work no big deal I I like the hustle and bustle of public transportation I imagine I'm going to have to get used to this anyway as time passes my mind wanders to memories of previous schools huh they all sucked all of it but hey hey I I need to make the most of the situation I'm in not get all sad like this I need to do something like like take a selfie with the hobo next to me hoping I don't get stabbed get up and and breathe that fresh City Air big quotes air or remain seated and do nothing yeah taking that pollution man I'm going to taken that sweet sweet Metro pollution I'm interrupted by the ding of the terminal board and the car gradually starts coming to a stop oh whoops got to remember to hide the mice the mouse I step off the Metro heading out of the station as I follow a few other students heading towards the school oddly enough I'm only seeing dinosaur students not another human to be seen anywhere must be one of those Dino heavy regions H this place is all gentrified with dinos oh what do this world come to there's a lot of greenery here as well you'd almost forget how close we are to a major city the pathway leads to a stone bridge that goes over a small Creek as I walk across I notice other students meet in pairs and walk with each other the air begins to fill with the sounds of laughter and stories of how their summer break went ah good old summer I'm actually I'm actually kind of glad that summer is almost almost over cuz it's it's it's hot it's hot in here as I say while I'm wearing this hoodie ah there it is the School Peaks out over the trees ahead of me as though inspecting and welcoming inside St Hammond High my new home away from home for the next year I stopped to take a deep breath the air here is crisp reminding me of an old Campground I went back in elementary school once again I'm handed an opportunity to make something of myself I'm apprehensive but hopeful it's my last shot at this there's no going back I take my first step onwards here we go again oh it's animated oh hell yeah there's our boy a non who students Mill about the front yard the school is known for its heavily prioritized art programs over two 2third of the graduates ended up pursuing a career in the Arts and while half of them regret it regret it from what I've read there's still plenty that made it right it's also the Management's claim to fame with the facade on the front entrance being dominant at by a vibr vibrant mural got a good feeling about this place a few students eyeball me as I continue walking in some friends whisper to each other yeah yeah yeah yeah I just knew this jacket would pay [Music] off the front doors are propped wide open and I already feel the Cool Breeze inviting me in inside it's a familiar yet brand new site yep it's very familiar but also new I hadn't mentioned it yet but this school is also unique for its student body it's composed almost entirely of dinosaurs all manner of Saran herbivores and otherwise it's crazy look how young and attractive all these dinos are time to make a tier list right now of who would I want to date Andor Bang Yes No Maybe tier list scales feathers Tails it is that a tether Wings Talons and webbed hands not to mention the colors all vibrant enough to challenge the bright murals on the school outside so already already this guy is not a total piece of [Music] [ __ ] um he's not some EDG Lord um you know redditor he's just some guy also is that Dexter and mandar back there start just already with the with the references dozens of dozens of students March about reconnecting with past friends and meeting new ones some anxiously glanced at their schedules checking every door as though they were numbered at random I probably shouldn't be stand Standing Here stick whoa who was that a human uhoh rutro uh oh oh no I'm soon surrounded and overrun by a crowd of neon color teenagers and what's the problem with that clearly my jacket is working like a charm wow he's like a life-sized mannequin hey new kid is is this what it's like to be popular I really wasn't expecting it to happen this quickly a few students are taking pictures with their phones I even see some with Sketchbook and pens in hand rapidly scribbling on pages wow a human are you like a foreign exchange student in the chaos I feel a few people touch my hands whoa human skin feels weird jeez been uncalled for oh man this guy's a huge [Music] wimp you know what let's go along with it we were such a pariah back in uh snoo game I feel like we deserve to have a little bit of of of like Good Vibes for for for our our main character there there's so much happening oh no there's so much happening and I don't want to be a party pooper a few more people shout at me to get my attention hey could you look over there for a side profile oh man yeah this would be a good reference material wait wait wait wait wait I need to get a better better look at his skin texture once again I once again find myself Frozen only muttering quietly as I hastily try to follow their instructions eventually all the Sans take their photos and talk themselves out before dispersing back to their own friend groups by the time I recover from the shock of the situation the last one breaks off and I find myself seemingly all alone again oh oh oh that was that was my chance to socialize I I didn't even get to say hi to anyone oh oh I blew it h you're H you're a human right the music just immediately plays back okay all right okay there's still there's still chance after all a Triceratops girl leans forward scanning me up and down this is it this is it time to seal the deal and get a new friend uh uh yeah close enough hey can I like get a selfie with you it'd be great for one of my classes uh yeah definitely she puts an arm around my back around my back for a shoulder hug while she poses dramatically maybe a bit too friendly big smile now she takes the picture and checks it enthusiastically so uh I'm inko huh oh cool yeah yeah okay yeah anyway I got to go oh oh it's like that huh [Music] so uh what's the photo for by the way she pauses aloofly chewing some gum H my fashion design class hey that jacket is balling ah thanks for the pick hun toodles also wait his name's inko as in Incognito is that short for Incognito because that's pretty good well I feel my shoulder sag as I take in the now sparse hallway around me damn that that must have been my 15 minutes of fame I guess I don't think it even lasted 15 minutes but there's no way I've already blown in I I try to shake away the negative thoughts focus on the positive for a brief moments I was the talk of the school yeah yeah that's it oh click click click click click the familiar sound draws my attention I know what that is I'm a huge camera nerd at at the end of the hall there's someone kneeling and with one of the latest camera models if I'm not mistaken he hey the guy flinches I Flinch too I hadn't I had meant to shout at him the few students around me don't bat an eye at it though yo hey buddy oh sorry about the yell no no it's fine I I managed to get the shot I wanted the speckled boy I think he's a parasaur double checks the camera display and smiles yep perfect oh this will be a fine print for the yearbook C can I see his grin seems to widen at my interest oh of course here he turns the display towards me showing a shot of the hallway and me as the focal point pretty good right I look a little closer and notice that I think it's a little out of focus and dark what do you have your f- stop set at H he stops and glances at me he glances up at me pleasantly surprised to get a real answer yeah I'm a bit of a photographer myself I'm taking it as an elective too with Mr aodin thinking back to my memorized class schedule the name does sound familiar uh yeah oh snap cool but we're going to be classmates we'll be classmates Mr iden's busy so he just teaches it for one period he offers his hand out for a handshake I'm Ben inko friend achieved that was a lot faster than its new game holy crap we only did this for like what 10 minutes I'm uh actually new here oh kind of figured being the only human student this year and all say happen isn't one of the more popular schools but the staff put a lot of effort into the Arts programs even the campus itself is designed like a living art piece so if you ever need help from the pause I'm guessing he's offering some help sure I wouldn't say no to a tour a tour you'd say well I'm only going back to the pr principal's office but I can point out some neat stuff along the way he raises an eyebrow to to himself in contemplation yeah yeah might be a good idea to meet the principal too can can we get Spears back can we get principal Spears he Waites for me to follow him come [Music] on turns out he wasn't just an avid photographer like me but also the school council president hey yo oh that comes with perks [Music] being good pals with the pr and one of one of his priorities was taking photos for the school's yearbook for the first day page every few minutes we'd pause so Ben could take a couple of shots mainly of the students talking with each other and while I would watch I had considered helping him in some way I mean that camera looks amazing and there's all his extra lenses in the bag I feel absolute Elation to finally know someone that's into into photography yeah another huge camera nerd like myself hell yeah and I really want to broke [ __ ] but Ben fills the air between us talking more about the school which is why we still go to the feather Tales even though I think it's a Tad distasteful dang you're pretty good at this do you give these tours to all the new students no not really although it is something I've thought about a lot oh H and hold that thought hey hey lunara oh damn Ben goes to greet a student putting up some intricate wall banners oh hey Ben you have a good summer vacation I did great work on the decorations they look even better than last year's a thank you oh uh what's all this for she steps aside so I can fully view the banner she'd finished she just finished with oh the cultural arts club we meet every Thursday after school and look at antique artwork she'd initially looked past me to walk with been but she gasps once she realizes hey you're you're a human right oh that's a that's a silly question uh you should totally join I just love human culture and there's this amazing set of ancient masks at my place from ancient Europe oh I just adore them wow that's um that's impressive I think you'd make a good curator you know what I probably would after that club displayed during Spirit Week last year I got to agree we spent weeks studying that tribe and weeks more practicing those dances we also study paints with those Styles like we're learning the techniques of the Old Masters hopefully soon we can even get into sculpting like those old Venus statues so okay so I just wanted to like note here that like already I'm I'm liking all these characters like straight up just just straight up outright not because they're like totally like they have Unique Designs and they're cool cute and hot and stuff but um they're not just like caricatures like in snoo game they're not just parodies of a personality we plan on getting one to look we're plan on getting one to look at sometime this year what do you think it'd be great if you could come yeah that'd be neat what say you inko huh maybe I I Do Love Culture I I am I am a cultured individual oh oh that's great oh oh listen we have this old Chef tain's uh Chief tain's dress that we had for a we just have to see what it looks like on the real thing um I'll think about it kind of want to see it first no way though I'd I'd sooner endure a second impact event than we something like that well hey nice to catch up lenara we've got places to be take care bye she waves us off and Ben continues leading me to the principal's office on top of [Music] things he points out to a few more minor landmarks in the school and stops to greet a number of students students happy to see him after the summer break man sorry for having to stop so much no no way you're I think it's cool that you know everyone if only it could be cool without making us late he notices a few more noteworthy landmarks eventually leading me to its biggest draw this music's great by the way it's like like really chill background music um hope hope you guys can hear that and it's like well balanced I know the um music is like really low um okay I already knew that this place was known for Arts but wow just outside the administrative offices the hallway is filled with wonderful pieces of work paintings line the walls with name placards beneath detail who the artists were all created by alumni and attending students of the school and this is the gala all these pieces have been featured in all kinds of Articles and presentations wo I know right one moment Ben turns to the nearest door and gives it a PL knock who is it it's me principal scal an Avi Raptor no older than her mid-30s exits the room holding a steaming mug and a sporting and sporting a tired [Music] smile I feel like you're feel like referencing something and I don't know what but besid besides that cool oh good morning Benjamin good morning inko this is our esteemed principal oh good morning ma'am her eyes shed wide her eyes shoot wide mid mids sip of her coffee oh oh I I hadn't noticed oh you would be uh Mr gito it incognito um yes but my name oh how wonderful gone is the exhaustion on her face instead replaced with a very wide smile I'm so happy you've chosen our school for our last year Mr Nito Ben be sure to give him a thorough St Hammond welcome okay uh I already was if you ever need my assistance my office is always open Mr ne2 not to mention the student council is also available for help isn't that right Ben yes principal scaler thank you principal scaler oh and Ben a moment please but the parasaur is dragged into the office leaving me alone in the school Galla whatever they're saying I can't hear over the ambiant noise of the school of the student body either way it's probably not something I meant to hear I move a few feet away out of earshot of the of the discussion inside oh on the wall beside me is a frame panoramic landscape of the city painted by hand nice it's just Manhattan it's just the lower end of Manhattan wow could practically use this thing as a map with how detailed it is no wonder it's hanging so predominantly by the principal's office the gentle brush Strokes the vibrant colors the Evening Sun bouncing off of the windows and the Majestic Scarlet Sky enveloping The Horizon all of which combined together to give it a Dreamscape feeling like like it's an idealized vision of the city it's it's beautiful I've never seen a big admirer of paintings but I can't deny that this is a [Music] masterpiece only a teacher could have been able to express the scenic beauty of the city with this level of skill and [Music] passion I withdraw my Cav Stone 60 from my bag nice and with the compact lens I keep I barely fit the entirety of the painting in frame for the shot checking the copy on my display I realized it left out the title and artist of the piece the tag says Dreamscape Artist o hord 9th grade first place 2011m 2020 that was 3 years ago a freshman did this jeez well now they're uh now they're a uh senior now that I look the rest of the paintings this is insane it's all so much better than what I've done almost all the pieces are beautifully drawn acrylic charcoal pastel and yet not even one photo hey enko I'm back I'm a singer how on Earth am I meant to even start measuring up here it's crazy yeah purple hoodie let's go she propels herself forward with dextrous hands spinning the large wheels on her I only now noticed that she's in a wheelchair I didn't even know that you can go that fast in one of those she glances my way and her pupils lock onto mine her gray and gold eyes are marred by bags like like she hasn't slept in days the girl's entire presence is ghostlike and and that expression it's like she's looking straight through me I'm I'm sure she barely registers my existence but I don't think I'll ever forget that face just as fast as she came however she's gone as she leaves I feel a weight is is lifted from my shoulders at least I until I trip directly onto a a glass casing behind me you know jeez hey watch it whoops The parasaur Hand Rose around the display carefully his eyes filled with worry you looking for something cracks usually when another student falls onto them there's some kind of crack or scratch I guess it's a dino thing you humans are lucky you don't got to sweat over this kind of stuff does that happen often often enough to drain School funds and repairs oh that can't be good oh Oh that's oh that sucks cuzz with all the the you know the the horns and the Tails and the spiky stuff it it must cause a for to maintain any building like if a dyo trips if if it yeah if anyone with horns trips it like scratches everywhere well not to brag but I make do oh a ver chime Echoes through the now empty Hall I freeze ah Tardy on my first day ah whoops uh sorry to run on like that but you should get going to your first class wouldn't I W I need a tardy slip or something nah it's the first day teachers are lenient I'm fine either way since you know H one of the benefits of being the class PR you get to do whatever you want nice what's your first period fizzed Ben sucks the air in through his teeth with a prolonged win he's just like o ah because you see we're all a bunch of nerds and he goes like Yeah o you'll be fine you'll be fine you'll be fine yeah yeah ches comes down that way don't uh keep him waiting too long um I'm going to get going I need to get going too keep who keep who waiting sorry I gotta go [Music] bye whoa he walks fast when he has somewhere to be that reaction doesn't really it doesn't exactly instill confidence in me it a principal Spears did he get transferred to to to to Fed teacher oh man I hope principal Spears comes back that guy is is hilarious I follow I follow Ben's directions towards the school gymnasium after all the earlier commotion it's the first quiet moment to myself well might as well take it might as well take it to finally sort my thoughts okay let's see what do I think of the place so far well it's certainly livelier than any of the schools I've been to ever since I stepped foot in here everything has been so Lively everyone seems so exuberant makes me feel a little out of my death since I'm so used to the opposite uh well here here people like that girl earlier are eager to share their Hobbies almost without being prompted everyone else everywhere else I've been people just kept to themselves like they're the only like they're only there because they have to be reminds me of this place uh uh Volcano High yeah those those people are scumbags and then it it hit it hits me the School's art program attracts people the students here don't have to be here they're choosing to be here and that's why it's so active all right well all right what can I do with this information well it means I can probably be friends with anyone I want right it's weird to say but with everyone here sort of just walking with each other there's bound to be an insane level of camaraderie too maybe I won't even have to try question mark I'm almost at the gymnasium now though so I'll hold this thought for later I'm sure fiz will be fun ah gym class where the boys are separated from the men and where people with her herculian physiques are now able to show off their sculpted bodies does this mean we can see uh shirtless Dino boys I begin to remember how much I dreaded going to PE the innumerable bad experiences from past schools pale in comparison to the many skidded knees and broken glasses oh you know what's the worst part of this is he has to do the Dino's version of PE hopefully this school's PE is a lot less grueling it is going to be way more horrid than could you than you could possibly imagine have you ever watched my gym partner is a monkey that's like it's like hell it's like hell going to that school as a human as I stand before the wooden double doors leading into the gym I'm struck with how empty the area looks that's followed by me catching the sound of physical activity coming from within the gym itself shoot I'm I really am late Ben's earlier warning echoes in my head like a forboding spirit I peer through the small windows on the doors and see students standing shoulder toosh shoulder towering over them is a primate who I can only guess is our gym teacher with his AR arm crossed and a scowl on his face I hope I can get away with being tardy as I walk into the ooh holy [ __ ] my first thought is how lucky I am to be alive I don't even know what was throwing at me but it might as well just be a cannonball I spot the gym teacher and even though his baseball cap and even through his baseball cap I could feel the a stare of Rage pierced my soul such intensity and that ideal throwing form it only missed by centimeters that was a warning shot oh sweet raptor Jesus help me oh my God know this and know it well son I have a policy each of my platoon get one free Miss from me a year and you just spent it I shift my eyes to the students lined up next to him and they're so stiff with fear that I could I can't tell what they're feeling yeah fair enough you got 3 seconds to lay late on front of your lay on front of the Squadron why in great name of Dave of kav dret your or late uh well I he he didn't even move he just cracked bones he didn't even move okay hdden taken I'll shut my mouth it's all right the Simeon scholar starts marching back and forth like a drill sergeant listen up because I'm only saying this once in this class we operate on tough love we learned from our mistakes so you better pray to raptor Jesus you won't you don't forget them hell yeah raptor Jesus is back because if you do with three monstrous steps the coach close the distance of 10 yards to Tower over me I will be very upset it reflects poorly on all of us and that is not something I will accept so I would love to see you mag I would love to see you maggot succeed but if you don't I will make it Unforgettable am I understood I nod my head in fear B freak contasti now then join the rest of your ranks and stiffen up up once I confirm my bladder is intact I shuffle over to where my colleagues stand I feel them staring at me with anger like I'm responsible for the coaches teaching style G what an appalling first impression to make I should just quit and start over somewhere else while I still can the teachers the teacher takes a second to glance over us reminding himself of where he was before I had interrupted aad Hut maggots you will all drop and give me 20 of the finest push-ups those those guts best those gut those guts best being ants fart off that pristine gym floor or else with a violent loud blow of the Whistle the coach also takes his position to show the proper technique I hide my wise as my knees impact roughly on the ground the Real Pain starts as I try to keep Pace with everyone around me my biceps and forearms threatened to Splinter from the weight of my body and the speed of my jerky movements I never realized just how badly out of shape I was on your feet you bipedal slugs this guy he ain't human maybe some kind of primate maybe it's it's close it's a close relative it's no principal Spears but it's it's good enough I could feel my muscles holling in pure Agony as I force myself up from the gymnasium floor oh by the time I'm back on my feet my breathing is heavy and coming out in whistles now then since it's only the first day of school how about we have ourselves a good old game of dodgeball did did think just say dodgeball oh yeah dodgeball time I shoot a glance towards the overly enthusiastic Dino next to me who is absolutely elated by the prospect of the upcoming game we only finished the warmup and my muscles are already screaming my knees shake my lungs burn and I'm so drenched in sweat that I'm sure I might need a shower after this I mean yeah you should always shower after PE if you can I I really don't want to play dodgeball though you know what I I've always hated PE but but I feel like dodgeball was always like one of the best things we could ever do because basketball I was terrible at um if we did track um I would die um if we did any other team sport I would die but dodgeball I was really really good at dodging terrible at throwing if I threw something they would just catch it and I'd be out but I was really good at uh dodging that's my Flex oh well aren't we lucky what's the voice for him well aren't we lucky first day of school we get to play a game I don't I'll find a voice for you I uh I don't uh I don't I don't do dodgeball well why not no he's he's cool kid right so he needs cool guy voice I uh I'm not exactly all right maggots pick aside and keep the numbers even this is a suicide [Music] match and free for all too Damian why don't you socialize by picking your teammates you scum Shades you're on the blue team wait wait but years he'd been in attendance by a bit of luck our lockers aren't that far apart from one another but our conversation isn't a real possibility considering all the other ones going in on the mainly water fountains that settle a good 10 or more feet above me overall nothing crazy special this next class I'm sort of looking forward to AP art design hell yeah this uh this Dino Universe has school since it's the start of the year the Halls are freshly cleared waiting to be filled in as the semester pass of course there's no shortage of trains this haul in particular is displayed prominently in the school's advertising material and for good reasoning the carefully and expertly built dynamic between the surrounding nature the school and even the building materials themselves is nothing less than mystical I can already feel the creative juices flowing soon enough I'm standing just outside the door to my next class much like the school wall outside it's decorated in various and those are some very murderous looking claws on her fingertips sharp as hell for a split second I can see them retract she wipes her fingertips on a small hand towel and whoow the claws extend again into a bright red puddle on her desk a singular red colored Claw is pressed onto her paper for a moment and then quickly tugged and twirled and twisted leaving behind a bright red cursive sentence on the page cool those silver irises flick my way once more what uh uh you know what you were doing that looks pretty cool a hint of red creeps across the girl's cheeks she looks looks back at the book and hunches her shoulders as high as she human Dino can huh she's now leading over her Notes too even using the book as an extra protection for for the pages I should be focusing on my own notes yeah an impossible task task though now as the colorful uh calligraphy next to me has piqued my curiosity the quill Talon continues to delic delicately ex notes onto the page and it only leaves for her to give me a name she doesn't she simply returns her Focus to the book between us I wonder what her deal is in either case I I turn my I turned my attention back to class hope I can make up for lost time it's hard to ignore the gator girl though especially when those icy gray eyes of hers feels like icicles poised to stab through me hey wait a second second those hand motions she's not writing anything right now she's drawing well it's it's n of my business but I am rather curious I make a show of leaning back to [Music] ywn and now I can see it oh [ __ ] it's me whoa It's a calligraphic doodle of me yeah there's no mistaking that's my jacket and sunglasses but the sunglasses are negative space that's cool that's that's pretty cool nobody's ever really drawn me before well there were those others on the first day of school but that's different they weren't using their claws or ink oh man I can't wait I got to ask for a closer look hey h your picture is super cool can I see it she glares me in the eyes but slowly brings out the sheath she was doodling on I think I I think that's typo them the sheet with the paper more visible I can just barely make out the important details the line work is sharp each stroke an organic curve that when combined formed would had to be me it even had my glasses in the negative space of the head yeah though what was though what was with the multiple swervy lines coming out of the drawing's head dude this is great wa she rolls her eyes and starts retracting the page can I take a picture of it a pause why nobody's ever done something like that for me I I want to remember it she passes the paper over to me SS who really thanks don't mention it but don't she she's nice after a grilling period made worse by my own anxiety the bell rings to set us free finally Freedom at just stay for a minute longer Ino I get some sideways glances from from other students as they leave no doubt no doubt suspecting I'm a teacher's pet already with a few Strokes from his pen Iden hands me a note just show this to the librarian and she'll hand you your books on your way now a quick trip to the library earns me my missing books I even got a fancy laminated library card igan's introduction to his class certainly has me excited for the photography next first stop though lunch can't take pictures on an empty stomach between my lackluster breakfast and gym class I'm starving despite my Hunger though I'm stopped dead in my tracks as I look around the cafeteria for a place to sit whoa the whole place is overtaken by Lawless Anarchy I've never seen a riot this intense so many Silhouettes attacking me at once a few students have been crawled halfway up the wall hanging by the decorative Vines food flies about everywhere utilized as ammunition rather than sustenance and yet the security guard by the door isn't moving this must be acceptable eh I shudder to think what would be bad enough to Warrant him taking action [Applause] I've never seen anything like this at any of my old schools but more importantly all the clicks have already formed from the previous day I missed my chance to sit with someone somebody ah wait but it's only the second day why am I acting though it's too late for anything yo Nico just also there's always Damen I'm shoulder checked from behind from by what feels like an oversized fist or or an over or undersized Boulder if I wasn't already a wall I would have been either been sent scrawling or made into roadkill when I turn I met with daman's toothy grin ah what what what already forgot about me you you don't got anywhere to be right I uh yeah you started come on come on we're going somewhere may as well [Music] right inko you already have a friend you you you damen's cool with you Damen excitedly motions at me to follow through the traffic of students going about the lunchroom peering in through the crowd waving me over and disappearing again like he's out running something [Applause] it's a good thing I haven't gotten my own lung yet it'd be dumped on the ground about three elbows and a slap of [Applause] gun through the clamoring I hear something about a tur War restarting with a new year and that megalodons will continue to rule somewhere mixed is somewhere mixed in is the undeniable sound of a steel chair clattering to the ground the place is an actual war zone now how on Earth is Damian able to weave through this guys these guys so easily eventually he leads me to the far corner of the room and to his usual lunch table hey you're alive I I think my one of my ribs is cracked that's the spool the school spirit you're feeling wof I feel like less of a person and more like a well-used punching bag oh almost swallowed my my Rola I finished stretching my wound my wounded back and actually Chuck the table it's basically empty there's only one person here hey Olivia the gator girl gives me an unamused used raised eyebrow uh hey you you oh snap you know Olivia Olivia yeah yeah right yeah of course I do yeah the one and only why didn't you tell me you met already because I only sort of did like we're in the same class ah okay all right all right I I get now still sounds awesome all my lunch buddies are artists all oh yeah there's usually a third in our group but she's out screwing around on school business she'll probably be back tomorrow student council stuff can't take that long right what she need with the student council oh she doesn't need anything with the student council she's in it she's the treasurer the treasurer H something like that what do you think Olivia Olivia just grunts in reply she doesn't even bother to look up from her lunch tray hey aren't you an artist too Damian nah I don't got the patience to sit around for hours like that you're not taking advantage of the art programs here don't really need need him home's just real close by only other artist here today is Olivia his arms wave over Olivia as he was presenting as if he was presenting her at an auction or something for her part the Gator Girl Just grunts again well uh well uh what do you do then Olivia finally she looks up turning an indifferent look in my way M did she say something what was that the ambient War noises are a bit too loud can't hear a thing sorry I can't hear you over the H don't don't sweat it she's the real quiet type I paint whoa hey holy hell her voice sounds so raspy as if she'd never drunk a drop of water in her life guess I hadn't noticed before when she gave one syllable responses but for someone's voice to be strained from a single shout oh she furrows her brow and backs down into her lunch oh snap we've been standing around for a while he sits back down his own at his own desk and takes a huge bite of mystery meat steak right right food food yeah yeah after the workout and poor breakfast today I am particularly famished now but damn the line all eyes look to where the lunch line should be and it's become a full-blown Riot someone's got a fire extinguisher trying to stop it oh I probably should have waited for you to get yours whoops Damien returns to his steak rather aggressively damn it but who am I to question Dino etiquette and the act of using one's foot to Anchor the food for tearing suddenly the sound of squeaking rubber draws both our attentions towards Olivia she's holding onto one of her she's holding onto one of her Wheels having just skitted across the granite floor oh what's up she tells her head back towards the courtyard door behind us it looks like there's a few vending machines out there huh okay I guess I'll go check him out all right I'll go grab a Snickers or something leave the group behind to go try to get some lunch not a fan of soda ships for a meal but it's enough for wartime survival hey this thing accepts credit cards pretty handy feeling left like favorite colors drywall store brand soda pretending to be on a diet bake chips I'm a huge [ __ ] idiot going to get a sports drink baked chips are really good Bak like I like I I only I only started eating baked chips like a couple years ago and now I I and now I'm like this is like Gourmet [ __ ] bake ship baked chips with like jalapeno flavor or like salt and vineger or something like that is like Gourmet [ __ ] to me now compared to like a Doritos I pick out a few other brands I recognize enough to tide me over for the rest of the school day I've been to pick up the bags from the dispenser slot and a that green chick's looking at me she notices me grazing at her and hunches over again hurriedly what's that all about right right right okay all right making new friends making new friends come on come on let's go making new friends I buy a few extra sodas for the table carrying everything back in both arms I plac them on an empty spot sliding a can of soda to Damian he looks at me like I had just tossed him a gold bar whoa dude the Dow boy's mouth opened wide as he Chomps on the bottom of his can his fangs piercing the thin metal and spraying its contents down his gullet I toss him over to Olivia as well and she eyes it though it were booby trap before taking a bag of taking a bag of chips Damian sigh happily as he Chucks the shredded remains of his can away C Ambrosia uh so what are we talking about before Oh Olivia's are right right right right oh yeah she's really good Inky like like you wouldn't believe can he like stick to a nickname what he called him so far Inky Mr Mr Neato really oh totally she's like won awards and stuff she has yeah the the her painting is the the portrait in the principal's office can I see them in fact I could snap some glamour shots for you oh no need dude I've already got pictures on my phone no no I mean hold on I pick up my backpack from the floor unzipping it and retrieving my beloved camera from it oh I'm actually into photography the dino man reaches for the well AED H DL DSLR and on Instinct I SWAT his hand away hey oh hey sorry force of habit no one no no one touches my cam this camera's like my baby what do you think Olivia she eyes me up and down with the same fured brow aren't you the guy that ate dirt in gym yesterday oh both of them oh wait oh I thought I thought I had to choose oh no yeah David says yep I'm like [Laughter] no I shoot Daman a quick dirty glance before returning returning to look at Olivia it it wasn't that bad I only ate a little [ __ ] it was it was pretty bad dude come on you know what come on it wasn't how does everyone seem to know about it cuz I told everyone it was pretty funny Damian looks aside sheepishly I may have had a hand in spreading the story around hey I thought it was funny oh my God hey hey don't don't worry about it though all right everyone has some embarrassing story it's like it's like okay so like one time I got my frill stuck in the bathroom stall e that sounds gross I didn't need to know that it took him an hour to get it out see everyone's got something Olivia pops a chip into her Jaws her face looking out to Nowhere as she's thinking of something hm Damien leans close to me one of his Frills extends to hide from Olivia dude I haven't seen her talk this much during lunch since last year she said like three things and a grunt why the secrecy well it's like a secret meeting those are cool uh-huh but yeah this is something else she's really warming up to you I can tell he sits back down properly honestly the whole thing is a little creepy she's probably not not a bad person to talk to but Damien isn't helping any as eager as I am to make new friends this year this is definitely not how I would how I thought it would plan out how would pan out maybe it's best I can get through this lunch quickly and quietly at least I have a spot to sit during lunch not that I have any other options ah there you are inko a voice rings out to greet me which catches our attention I see a familiar be speckled face walk over to us with a lunch tray in his hands glad to see that you made it to lunch this time oh hey Ben I guess you and Inky here have already met mhm introduced myself after I bumped him in the other day hey speaking of bumps you should have seen Inky here yet dude dude I'm right here bro bro not cool Damian lets out a cackle and slaps me on the back igniting my gym pains in my body and almost knocking my glasses off Ben gives me Ben gives a concerned half smile this this must be my eternal torment for the rest of the semester yeah about yesterday Ben look Ben looks down looks down the aisle of chatting students and signals to someone with his head standing 10 ft away from us is an imposing looking dinosaur Girl with blonde hair Crimson scales and a sporting fiery red leather jacket they're both like oh [ __ ] that's great Ben motions for her to come closer with a soft smile on his face and Nod and she smiles back though her own is noticeably strained okay I'm here she slowly makes her way over and I notice how some of the students began to quiet down as she passes them by oh yeah that's a bad [ __ ] right there as she gets closer her intense presence invades me and even though we're about the same height I feel like an ant about to be crushed under her under her Bo under her boot Somewhere In Me Is a synapse connects somewhere in me a synapse connects her face to me tasting bright red rubber yesterday I really wish it hadn't inko ah Mia has something to say to you I like how like everyone just is not into this moment at all Olivia doesn't care but everyone's like I really wish we are not here at all in this situation Mia stays silent but strides the last couple steps rigidly to stand right behind me sorry uh to stand right in front of me she sucks an air through her teeth [Music] sorry the corner of the girl's lips start to rise I didn't mean to knock your lights out behind her I noticed Ben wincing Ben you you you you made this happen this is your fault the girl lets out a laugh and lays an arm around my shoulder her smile growing wide once more heat creeps along my face as her muzzle nears my ear especially when a puff of hot air blows by the lobe the heat is torn away though I feel her fingers dip roughly into my shoulder and her her sharp hiss of whisper scrapes my eardrum that ball was me being being nice baly screw the class over again and I'll [ __ ] end you nodding and understanding Mia pushes away from me with a small cheer see all clear now Benny boy uh Mia that's not quite ah boo you know how I am her eyes flutter as she looks this way looks his way yes I know but you promised you would be nicer I know and I was so I'll be seeing you later tonight Benny just like we promised she waves us off collectively and backs into the crowd Vanishing before either one of us could fully process her words and actions Daman nudges my side dude dude I think she likes you bro Ben size sorry about that inko I heard earlier about what happened at PD at PE and connected the dots Mia comes off as rough around the exes but she's she's actually really sweet I'll uh talk to her about it more later you and from the rest of his meal having selectively heard his name could you not spread rumors about your fellow classmates no worries Nico and I are cool right Nico um I would prefer if you didn't all right cool so yes we're cool uh-huh that still doesn't make it right uh sure yes sir yeah sure he gives Ben a lazy salute Ben merely sigh as he places his cray on the table and makes himself comfortable on the seat next to me as he settles in Ben notices my camera still out on the table oh is this your camera n inko uh oh oh yeah um I was just showing it to Daman and Olivia earlier may I I feel my intins kicking for a moment before remembering that Ben also works with a camera oh oh sure have a look I watch Ben gingerly I I watch as Ben gingerly picks up my camera and gives it a thorough inspection I must say for as far as standard dslrs go yours is of very good quality uh it's nothing too special really it's just something I picked up a while back well you have good taste in camera models he hands me back my camera to which I place it back into my backpack uh thanks well with something like that it'd be easy to get some great shots well I do have a small collection in a portfolio drive a portfolio oh man oh I just got mine a month ago I bet you got like a dozen pieces to choose from for this year's art contest the what oh yeah he missed that announcement what announcement oh the school has an annual art contest at the start of every new year the winner gets a small cash prize the bigger prize is the fact that the Winner's piece is submitted for the publication in a couple of Big Time magazines by Olivia oh oh wow that sounds awesome of course that also means a lot of students plan ahead and work all summer for something to submit did you do anything for it Ben you know it well good luck Liz said she turned in the perfect piece yesterday oh okay now I'm really interested finally a chance to show my real skill at something I I'm good at hey oh Olivia could help you out with her shots and your and her art you to you two could totally win right [Music] Olivia Olivia we all turned our heads to Olivia only to realize that she's disappeared when did she leave confused I scann around the cafeteria and my eyes managed to spot her through the crowd of students she's rolling away towards the cafeteria doors and quickly just like that I lose sight of her as fast as I had seen her I turned to look at Damen and Ben Daman not only looks puzzled but also disappointed for some reason Ben meanwhile well he almost looks annoyed that Olivia left H guess she hasn't changed so it [Music] seems the venomous sting to his words makes me feel like there's there's more going on that I'm aware of I try not to pry into it and instead bring the conversation back bring it back well I still want to try well you can upload your submission on the school's website oh then I'll need an account you don't have one I I don't think so I've been told they'll get me that stuff by the end of the week ah sounds about right truth truthfully it it takes maybe 5 minutes to most to deal with that then why the wait no one wants to deal with it guess I'll wait Ben scratches the side of his head I think there's someone in stuco that can help you out actually it's the treasurer's Duty day today so that's so that's where Liz ended up I don't know any names so maybe what do you mean you don't know any names you know every every buddy huh I guess I'll go meet Liz sooner uh sooner rather than later I think I'll take care of that before lunch is over then see you in class Ben sure a thing later Damian Deuces man tell Liz I said hi I grabbed some of the leftover snacks from the table and my backpack and head out of the cafeteria finally I could show off my skills show that I'm just as capable an artist as anyone else here and this is where I'm going to stop for tonight that's um this is as far as I kind of wanted to to go actually this this and and this is the perfect place to stop I think um cuz this that was actually perfect cuz this is like the Call to Adventure this is like end of the intro it's like all right I have my goal now I have my purpose in the story let's do it so I'm going to call it there for today um that was so fun so fun really tired though I I mentioned that um I was really tired coming into the stream um and this perked me up a bit but now that I'm now that I've read like an like a short novel um I'm ready to pass out I'm ready to pass out super bad uh but yeah I'm I'm enjoying the game so far it's it's not as over-the-top goofy crazy memes like it's new game but it's still pretty good it's it's like I'm having fun with the character so far uh can't wait to see where it goes so um I'm going to continue doing this over the weekend um I'm going to try my best to keep to a consistent schedule again um as as as much as I try and fail um I'm going to stick to this on the weekends this and high-fi Rush um this week um I'm finishing the RPGs or at least one of them um I'm going to try to finish Wild Wild Arms this week we we're me we are at the like final stretch um and then there's ff7
