I'm meteorologist Peta sheerwood tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon Inland to spread towards the east coast as we head into this evening that widespread rain taking over scattered showers and thunderstorms cannot be rolled out with that push of wind moving in out of the southeast as we head into our Thursday and I'm tracking this Ridge over us to weaken as we head into the weekend and I'm watching this area of low pressure that could develop well to the north and east of us the national Hurricane Center watching this area as well for a tropical or subtropical development but what we are going to see here in South Florida is that it's going to stay away from us and some of that drier air on the back end of this area of low pressure could potentially move in and lower rain chances as we head into the weekend so a 60% chance of rain Thursday and Friday down to around a 40% chance as we head into our Sunday temperatures are going to be hot it's really going to be dependent on where you are and and where storms are if you get a storm to move through your neighborhood that could help cool temperatures off just ever so slightly 91 for the high temperature on Wednesday 92 as we head into Thursday temperatures picking up just a little bit with rain chances going down into the weekend looking at a high of 93 on sat Saturday and on Sunday
