breaking news a swarm of earthquakes has rattled Ontario California this morning alternate opening if your house shook this morning you're not alone Ontario California has experienced a series of earthquakes according to the US Geological Survey the first Quake measured at 3.5 magnitude struck around 10 5 a.m. its epicenter was approximately 3 Mi southeast of Ontario just 30 minutes later a stronger 3.9 magnitude Quake hit east Southeast of Ontario at 1034 a.m. this was closely followed by a 2.6 magnitude Aftershock at 1145 a.m. 2 m southeast of Ontario residents in nearby areas such as Fontana San Bernardino Riverside Pomona and Chino reported feeling the Tremors however there have been no immediate reports of major damage seismologist Dr Lucy Jones has classified these events as a small swarm on the Fontana seism Len a region known for frequent minor quakes stay tuned for further updates as more information becomes available for now remain cautious and prepared
