Shannon Sharpe gets BACKLASH on social media after Crashing out on cohost Ocho Cinco

[Music] what's good what's good so people have been telling me about this uh night cap episode that happened recently the other night where Shannon Shar apparently was flipping off and look he is known to have a Tempo at times but Shannon Shar was uh basically crashing out on the whole production crew including ooo and now allegedly he was late right this is a live show that they do basically like five nights a week they cover you know daily events and sports and games and whatnot and uh they were also having technical difficulties with the sound and stuff so Shannon was pissed and Shannon just goes off and starts snapping now according to Shannon and his explanation I'mma play that he claims that he did not know they were still on live on the air when this was going on so I'mma play this clip and I'mma um say what I think about it but a lot of folks are already spinning the narrative that Shannon is a hypocrite and that he basically violated ooo who is a groom man but you know I don't think it was that tough but I'mma play the clip let me know what y'all think hold up name was Alex he was really cool really cool dude and um as soon as he opened the car door he got out the car door to greet me the car door locked by accident the car door locked by accident so I would have been on time but the fact that we had to wait for the tow truck and them to bring the slim gy was the reason for my delay and getting to the hotel a little late but I'm here now I'm here now let me ask your question so when you go uh uh when you go to ESPN you go you take you have people pick you up from the airport yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah no you don't uh when you do inside the NFL you have people pick you up from the airp yeah at the beginning yeah no you don't uh so I'm just trying to figure out why with your show would you choose to take that route when you don't take that route for ESP and theide NFL I wouldn't lying I'm I'm dead serious when I when I flying to Philly I have somebody pick me up from Philly when I fly to New York I have somebody pick me up from New York I'm I'm I'm serious what they told me I just I just talk listen to now it's documented it's documented I'm just telling you but all you have search my tweets I've been doing it the past 15 years I always do this I'm not saying that right again oh this part why would you be why would you run the risk of being I didn't want to be late I just told you what happened I would have been on time but due to unfortunate circumstances of him locking the keys in his car which I documented I was just a little late I yeah okay I'm just tell but you see here the thing oo you say you want to be a professional you want to do ESPN you want to do all these professional things but you want to take a bootleg no no no I want to I want to remain my authentic self to same way I always been and do those things is that okay okay no okay let me know how that work out for you Colorado lost to Nebraska 20 that's the clip in context now in context look this is why they tell you you shouldn't start business with your friends because it's hard to hold your friends accountable are they going to take you serious are are they going to take the business serious now this is a show they these two started uh on their own about what a year ago now Shannon has his podcast which is his main you know Cash Cow he's got his show with First Take ESPN well oo has jobs also right and he's got a job he does ESPN work and he also does the uh Inside the NFL with Bill bich and those guys and Shannon was basically saying well you late for this and maybe this hasn't been the first time he's been late maybe this has been a reoccurrence and that's why Shan is aggravated but he brought it up and he said well hold up you ain't never late when you go to ESPN you're not never late when you go to do the inside of the NFL he was holding his partner accountable and it came across like he was trying to Sun him or trying to like embarrass him because people are watching this while it's going on and Shannon is is assuming that the you know they off the air uh and then they would would go on and Shannon had to clear it up because like I said people started spreading the video viral shann is a hypocrite because remember people keep and people haven't moved on from the skip Baylor situation I think at some point we got to move on from that I mean he's addressed that several times Skip's not even on TV anymore right he got fired on his day off then you got now he's doing a show with L Wayne that no one talks about right so he's gonna launch that soon but it's like at some point we got to move on from that but this is Shannon and uh explaining exactly what happened in context and uh people was even overreacting to this like oh man oo was speechless he didn't say anything that speaks volumes maybe he did take it a little personal but like I say when you're dealing with friends and you're doing business sometimes if you're trying to hold your homeboy accountable yeah they might take it personally cuz they not used to you barking orders at them or you necessarily telling them to do something or you know what I mean it's accountability but this is the clip with Shannon's explaining herself that was nothing that people back back at at uh in the studio um was doing that was no fault of their own that was just something that just all of a sudden happened and it just took us a minute to figure out we troubleshoot after we got off the show and we got it figured out that won't happen again I can assure you of that other technical difficulties might arise but that won't happen and then guys I look there's been a lot said with you trying to do the oo what skip did to you blah blah blah no what I am G to do is that I'm gonna push I'm gonna pull I'm gonna drag oo to a level that he didn't think he could get to see I heard I saw some of the comments oh oh you too serious it's just a little internet show it's a YouTube show for you that's all you see it as but that's not the vision that I shared with oo when we sat down that's not the vision that oo say oh we can do that yes I say you see what these he goes on to say that he wants to have a big vision for the show and he wants them to be you know the top I guess you know whatever they competing with on YouTube and he's got big visions and plans for the show nothing wrong with that having a high ceiling and dreaming and thinking big he's just trying to get engag with his co-host who happens to be his homeboy right because these are cats that unlike Skip and Shannon oo and unlike Skip and Shannon Shannon and oo are actually friends like I could picture them hanging out together they don't live in the same city that's why they do the show the way that they do but they're actually friends so he is like trying to just you know I mean make sure like you know I me I don't want to you know uh step on no Toes or nothing you know I mean he is a grown man but it's like yo it is what it is this is business this is more than just homeboy talking this is business so you got you got to be on on PA and he's got a point if you could come to work when you go to work with those white folks you make sure you on time that's basically what shanon was saying when you go work for them white folks at ESPN and them you on time but when you come do the show with me you feel like you could just pop up when you feel like it like I mean so I get Shannon's point in context um after he explained it because I didn't know I don't watch the show every single night but um that's what it's looking like but let me know what y'all think with Shannon being hypocritical uh could he had handle it a better way like I say Shannon is known sometimes to his temper can be a little bit out of hand at times but this was different comparing contrast I mean Skip and Shannon they fell out over disrespect like blatant disrespect and then skip felt the way cuz Shannon left him hanging with the deal Hamlin situation like that was it was a Power Trip thing at the end of the day I don't think this has nothing to do with that uh this is just a friend who's in business with another friend trying to hold him you know to a standard and know I don't think nothing's wrong with that but yeah just the way it came across it comes across like you know he was sunning them like you know what I mean like pops taking him to the Woodshed you know and people really felt sorry felt Chad oo but you know I think it's a reason why he was Spees because honestly he knew he was wrong it was nothing else to say you know what I mean it was no different than when he played football if he was late to a meeting or late to a practice I'm pretty sure
