Up with the River Kings as they look to build. And take another step in the right direction. A2 and seven finish for Clinton IN2022A record. That's more than meets the eye. You look at that, you look at our losses from last year and they were, I think thee was three of them that were sevr ten points or last. This season brings a clean slate for the River Kings with new goals and new expectations stayg together last year. We're gettig down each other. I think this yr that we have a very good futuret can come out of it and I think t we have a lot of guys that are willing and wanting to do their best anI think that's going to help. Push us to get the change that we need. Nate Herrig enters his fourth year as head coach and returns a senior class that's familiar with the River King way. Great bond between, you know, having him for so long and being able to nt only learn his style play, but, you know, learn his coaching st. Learn how you know he wants things done, how you know he wants the cultue to be a schedule that doesn't aw room for error with the defendig state champion on the slate. Our district is very tough. I mean we went through all of the entire state of Iowa, one of two districts in the state that has they played two. So Cedar Rapids, Xavier North St played each other in the state semifinals for one of two districts that got that. Regardless of a tough district, Clinton knows what it takes to be successful this year. We have to keep each other's heads up as well. We really got to not only focus about ourselves but folks about other. We got to watch how others act. We got to see how they just perform and you know if we see a decline then we got it. We just got to go and. With that conversation and pick them up, honestly I've never had team this close where like last year it wasn't as close. But like I think this year a lot of guys are putting in more efft than we could have expected. So we're really excited to see where I could go. Clinton will kick off their season at home versus Davenport Central on August 25th. We continue our score previews tomorrow night at 5:30 with a stop at Erie profits down to check in with the Panth.
