BTS: Dairy Boy Pop-Up in NYC

[Music] okay guys so this weekend is our New York City popup we are back today we are just sort of setting up we're ready we're excited we have this really cool concept to kind of bring the countryside to the city will on the farm is kind of lead back ain't much an old country bowl like me can't hack it's early to rise early in the sack Thank God I'm a Country Boy when a work's all done and a sun set low pull out my fiddle and I rossing up the bowl the kids are a sweet so I keep it kind of Al Thank God I'm a Country [Music] Boy welcome here's the lck views RJ hello the fan of the Vlog this week wait can you flip this all the way around like a vlog you want to Vlog yeah you can flip it all the way [Music] around literally can't wait to see you guys okay so the first thing that I do is I usually try to unpack this is what I do when I'm on the tennis store or when I'm just traveling because um it just like makes it feel homier so we have a really big closet this trip which is really nice so I'm just going to unpack all my stuff so I have all my outfits for the popup US Open so lots of clothes [Music] but very versatile Sho options I'm really bad at walking heels so more of a boo gal which is [Music] good P you nervous for this week or what are your thoughts I'm actually not yet but I will be I'm definitely going to be a little bit nervous I'll never forget the last year when I was driving up I was worried that no one was going to come and so many for there it was absolutely insane um I was actually telling you this earlier but um that it's sort of it's really cool to see people in person because I think with social media people become numbers and it's so much more impactful to see people in person and it's so important for me as a Creator and brand owner to sort of just see and connect with you guys so it was definitely the craziest probably weekend of my life it was really really cool and crazy so I'm really excited to see everyone I hope people show up I'm like I think people are going to come but I think come I'm still nervous it's like throwing a party for yourself you're like are people going to come um but [Music] yeah I'm going to show you guys the want to be part of it New York New York these vagab shoes are to stray hello guys we're back um so we have a bunch of is this candy you know we have a bunch of like stuff from my house that we're loading today say hi to the Vlog Mom hey um here I'll give you this we're loading in the furniture and and um wait come look at this so good look at all this candy yum so we're going to build the candy wall today and um get everything set up it looks really good it I'm so excited it's so much better than last year in like a great way I mean it really looks like a store this year I feel like [Music] okay so these are Big bins of all of our new boxers it's kind of fun to see them like in these big piles we're basically going to have like big baskets that these are all going to go in I love how these this branding turned out um but yeah love these and then this rack is going to be I think vintage clothes this year we decided to Source a bunch of vintage tennis stuff and a bunch of vintage uh sporty stuff and then we um we embossed some Dairy boy logos on it and that's going to be like a very exclusive fun little vintage rack and I think this is going to be home we have our glass tumblers some of our bedding and then this is going to be merchandising and our big checkout counter that was one thing last year there were not enough people checking out so we're going to make sure that the line moves quicker this year fingers crossed we are announcing the camo we basically have a um exclusive camo that's dropping at the popup and we need to find a way to an it to everyone so RJ and I are going to put our brains together and come up with a idea this is too busy this is okay pink black o gray is kind [Music] of yeah we're just looking at the colors is this a small [Music] [Music] home home on the rain where the de and the open sick where is the popup I think making sure that we have a bigger store for our people we really didn't know what the turnout was going to be it was our first inperson experience so just preparing for more people um more people working to the check out moves faster and I think because of how amazing the turnout was last year just like committing more money into making this really special um was something that we were confident to do it's really for everyone in my community and the people that resonate with this sort of lifestyle or even if they live in a city and romanticize this sort of Lifestyle about eventually maybe moving out of the city or or if they do live in the suburbs just knowing that there there's not one way to live and it's not just being in the city for me I found myself in my true happiness when I left the city so being able to romanticize that and turn it into a Lifestyle brand is so cool because I think it just makes it feel like like you don't just have to live in a city with your 20s you can live in the country or you can live in the city and still like this style of sort of tomboy clothes and barn jackets and a more relaxed look so it's kind of for those girls and it's for everyone it's for my community obviously I selfishly like love designing stuff for myself but I am always designing things with my community of mine are not Cloud old here's what my sweetheart [Music] said whatever will be will be the future is not ours to see K said all [Music] and [Music] then Almost Heaven West Weir I didn't even know you were here a lot of interactions but it was the best day I think it went so well so so happy can you hold at these interior designers that's my stud in there looks like you're just hitting a and it was like all right we're here it's Saturday morning at Dairy boy country Mark let's go what are you guys excited to get today honestly we've been just watching like the drops on Instagram I just think we're like excited to see what they have I'm here for the Box are literally for everything's spending way too much money today we love to hear it good morning I'm feeling very refreshed today not hung over guys sorry you thank you so much thank you guys for waiting hi it's PA's boyfriend's name Tommy Paul boom yes what is Paige's favorite beverage I don't know mil where is Paige from Paige is from Guilford Connecticut neighboring town for me we grew up in neighboring towns in Connecticut so I will got that one there we go we s together so what what is Paige's middle name Elizabeth yes what was Dairy boy's original name is it Dairy girl like oh thank you Justin how we feeling good great beautiful turnout so much happy people so many so many outfit change number one Vibes are High Vibes are high everyone's energy really great loved meeting everyone from last year I recognize all you girls day two give mean one word one word to describe eant on your new career you're loving it about is it cute girl have to say what do you have to say how many years has it been 15 a long time long time love you this is the old crew right here this is this it this is the OG crew it's been amazing honestly I it's been worth every like stress or any money we spent it's just been the best two days and it's like I've lost my voice um it's been amazing just seeing such a consistent line both days and seeing how happy everyone is to see and feel the products and see the store and I think just being able to to further experience the brand cuz it is a Lifestyle brand I think it's it's amazing and I feel like the people that came like I connected with so many people and I couldn't have asked for a better few days and it's not even over we're doing it again tomorrow we don't do this for Revenue we do this for community and we do this because I think it's so important for me as a human being and it's so important for our brand just see people and connect with people and I love it I really want to open a store I feel like it would be so fun cool and I think also the contrast of what Dairy boy stands for being in Manhattan I think is really cool like you're stepping into a space that's completely different I don't feel like there's any other even store in Manhattan that's even like this I feel like I've been at peace the last few days I I'm like very tired right now but I've almost have like a new energy and sense of confidence because at the end of the day I met so many amazing thoughtful sweet supportive females that love and understand what I'm trying to do and I I think it puts things into perspective for me when I do get you know people who don't aren't nice to me online or who aren't supportive of me these moments make none of that matter to me at all and I think that's what human connection does I think the internet is so polarizing and it's it's not driven from connection and and these opportunities that I get like make the whole year better for me cuz everything I do is with the community of mine because without the community I wouldn't have anything that I have so just being reminded of that at this popup is like so special and great next is the US Open I just had a fitting I just had to leave the popup for an hour cuz I did a fitting for outfits for the US Open so literally what I right into tennis mode which is so cool it's so cool that my pop-up kind of backs the US Open um Tommy's playing on Tuesday so that is next I hope I'm like is that a wrap that's a wrap oh jinx [Music]
