all right man so we got some huge news coming out of the state of Georgia so this is actually the original reporting so what ended up happening was so it says breaking new reporting shows that Comm Harris has amassed over 400,000 Volunteers in Georgia that means more than 4% of Georgia's population is volunteering for comma Harris's campaign wow so this looks like absolutely massive 400,000 volunteers would be absolutely insane uh but what ends up happening is actually this is actually based on an NBC news article that ended up having to issue a correction because this number was actually inaccurately stated so it says this is not accurate the Harris walls campaign has a massed 400,000 new volunteers Nationwide the campaign currently has 35,000 Volunteers in Georgia so uh NBC News ended up uh correcting their article but 400,000 new volunteers NY 400,000 Volunteers in Georgia I think if that happened you'd be like oh yeah Trump needs to close down all of his shops in Georgia it's over like walk away leave just just forget it just it's done right so it's not to that level right but you know having 35 5,000 volunteers obviously massive and then 400,000 new volunteers Nationwide this fast for the comma Harris campaign is nonetheless still massive even though it's improperly reported here uh and what we have is we have this story so it says Harrison walls heading to Georgia as campaign seeks to build on convention momentum the Democratic ticket will launch a bus store in south southern Georgia next week as Harrison walls are expected to tape their first interview together um and so we can see here is it says VP Harrison Governor Tim Walls will launch a bus store of Southern Georgia next week the Duo's first time campaigning in the state together and as of now their first public event after the Democratic Convention in Chicago so the per will be using the momentum from the party's convention to drive them into the last couple months of the general election uh in addition to the bus tour uh Harrison walls are expected to tape their first joint interview next week and attend multiple fundraisers most likely to take place in New York California Florida and Georgia according to two sources familiar with the planning following the tour Harris will headline a solo rally in Savannah Georgia the trip will Mark Harris's seventh visit to the state this year and her second since launching her presidential campaign last month so what's really interesting about Savannah or what's interesting about Georgia in general so we can take a look here at Georgia so Georgia is a really interesting state so pretty much what the typical strategy is you typically just go to this area and try to blew out as many people as you can in metro Atlanta there's so many voters here but the thing is you know I had thought that they were going to go through this rural South here but it looks like they're probably going to kind of go through these areas south of Columbus in this area so basically the way Georgia looks is you have like these this big metro area of Atlanta and then you have the smaller Metro areas where have like austa mon Savannah Columbus and so I think the article had said they were going to go in this area but so waro back in 2022 he was able to make gains that Biden actually didn't get in a bunch of these areas that are blue even in the metro area and I just saw that between like 2022 and 2023 um they added like 68,000 people or something like that that into uh Atlanta I can't I think it was Atlanta that added that many people but or maybe it was Georgia I can't remember but Georgia is having these big demography changes so what's happening is I think there's still more black people moving into these Metro areas and so I think the strategy isn't to go here because these areas actually went all of these went more red versus 2020 uh I looked at the numbers when I compared the numbers here these all became more red as we saw this from here uh but these areas went more blue and these areas also went more blue so like you can even look here like at uh uh if you look at like Henry you know 66.2 I don't know if that one had gone up you know this is 59.7 and that's huge man like that's a huge percentage to go up because the the number of votes there is just absolutely insane you know like Newton County I don't know if this one went up you know that that one went up so there's still more people moving in and you know I know this is against Hershel Walker um but black people this is the unique part so again we have to think about what voter base KLA is doing really well with she's doing really well with black voters you know those kinds of people where her surge is coming from it's not really coming with like you know white voters in the rust Bel right so also what we know is black people vote very homogeneously they're the only group that votes that homogeneously where it's been like it's pretty much 926 928 generally in the past like three election Cycles uh including the midterms so they're really really reliable so if like a bunch of black people move into Georgia you know they're all going to vote Democrat basically and so her bus tour is to go out and try kind of turn out the vote right Churn it out Georgia is a turnout State because for these numbers compared to 2016 you know he wins here by 2% uh what we see in the state of Georgia is there was almost a million new voters that were introduced into the system so with response to a million new voters he wins by 02 so it's heavily a turnout State uh he also overperformed his numbers um by an entire almost like full point so for example if we take a look at the uh you know presidential election back in 2020 we can see uh you know he's at 48.6 points and he ends up actually ending up um here at 49.5 so he gets 0.9 boost which is massive and so what I think is actually with the polling number she's actually looking good in Georgia because she's down 0.5 in Georgia but he was only up 1.2 and one and I think there's probably going to be an even stronger effect towards KLA Harris than there was for Biden in 2020 in terms of turning out those kinds of Voters who don't seem to be counted in the numbers they seem to be missed in the polls because they underestimate him by almost a full point so that Sun Belt I think I'm really bullish on uh she's actually leading in Arizona as well which is really big dubs so he was up 2.6 she's already up 1.3 by contrast in Wisconsin she's up 3.8 he was up uh 8.4 and so she's closer to winning in those States right now than she is the Rust Belt according to the polling errors right um so what they're going to do is you know she's doing it in Savannah right so she's doing it over here so these Metro areas mon Augusta Savannah Columbus you know Atlanta these are the these ones these smaller ones are really huge these are a lot of blue votes so you really need to drive through these areas and then obviously you need to drive through Atlanta like you need to get the drive out from Atlanta as well but this a really great strategy on her part um campaigning in this part of the peach state is critical as it represents a diverse Coalition of Voters including rural suburban and urban Georgians with the large population of black voters and working class families the Harris walls campaign said in a press conference that is true it's very smart Harrison walls visit will come as a uh Republican ticket ramps up um Southern Georgia bus tours expected an echo the campaign's bus tour of Western Pennsylvania earlier this month which included stops at a local campaign field office a firehouse and and a high school football practice um and so it says here the south Georgia region is a priority for the campaign we have nearly 50 full-time staff across seven offices in the area including Valdosta we have hosted more than 500 events in the region since May 31st Harris walls Georgia campaign spokesperson out of lied Bullock said uh renado Robinson research director for the new Georgia project fund said appealing to Black voters in both rural and urban areas will be critical to Harris's success in the state as it was to Biden's victory in 2020 so I think she needs to focus not on the the full south over here because these these areas actually went more red since 2020 so these areas are bad but like these areas are good you know these kinds of surrounding areas uh there's some there's some good stuff there um you know black vers are Keo winning Georgia of course black Georgians can't do it alone we're absolutely the reason 2020 turned out the way it did obviously they were black had historical turnout and it happened has to happen again for there to be a victory in Georgia early this month Harris held the second rally of her presidential campaign in Atlanta an event that featured Megan the stallion had 10,000 people it then launched a mobilization effort in the state and now touts more than 35,000 volunteers 174 staffers and 24 coordinated campaign offices sprawled across Georgia the campaign refers to its ground ground game there as quote the largest instate operation of any Democratic presidential campaign cycle ever in Georgia so they're taking it very seriously obviously as it should be it probably should be the largest instate operation obviously since it's such a swing state and turnout turnout turnout Georgia is all going to be about turnout if you can turn those black voters out and you know it takes a little push more of a drive for voting Etc to actually pull them out but you can definitely you know uh turn those voters to pull out for sure um so that's the best strategy to do and also goes on to say Harris walls campaign said it has recruited nearly 400,000 news volunteer new volunteers nationally since it's Harris launcher presidential bid last month um and so Harris campaign chair General Mali Dylan identified Georgia as one of the campaign's top targets noting shifting demographics that could Aid the vice president expanding support from 2020 so they're even looking to expand past 2020s numbers which I think they should because there's a bunch of black voters still coming in there's a bunch of black people still coming in so it says vice president's advantages of young voters black voters and Latino voters will be important to our multiple Pathways to Su 70 electoral votes um and so you can see here it's it says correction a previous version of the article misstated the number of volunteers haris campaign is in Georgia as 400k nationally not in the state of Georgia so the original 400k was misstated but 35,000 is still huge 174 staffers 24 coordinated campaign offices and having the 400,000 nationally is absolutely massive uh also check out the other stories I've talked about in terms of her strategy that she's employing there she's been reaching out to a lot of house members so definitely make sure to check that one out um but really great plan from uh KLA Harris for Georgia here she's going to drive through hopefully it's not through the full South areas cuz I don't think those really have much that can benefit you hopefully it's to make in the other smaller Metro areas you know obviously Atlanta as well those I think are going to be the key to the election so I think that uh this is a great job in Georgia and this strategy could end up winning the election because it's going to come down to turnout I think she can really overperform in the numbers this time as well even more than Biden potentially did um and so I think that this could be what you know this huge news that could help her win the election here
