City officials confirmed today what our teams reported first last night the trumptown hall event filled the lacrosse Center 2 capacity a senat officials say an estimated 7,800 people were in the arena for the 34-minute Q&A with the Republican Presidential nominee now some of those people had been waiting outside the center since Thursday morning City officials also told us that those who showed up late were turned away because the building was at capacity they estimated another 1,000 people were unable to attend the event because of that now the city says it made about $46,000 in concession sales from the event but they were still calculating the final costs of hosting the former president
