Handed down from the NCAA means that the University of Kentucky has to vacate several football wins from a successful season. Sports Director Spencer joins us now with details on the violations and what the university is saying today. Yeah, guys for Kentucky football, all 10 wins from their 2021 season have been vacated and they along with swimming and diving had been placed on probation for two years as a result of separate investigations. When it comes to football, 11 players accepted payment for hours. They did not work in a job at the UK hospital. UK says it was their compliance department who uncovered the wrong doing and self reported. You might remember running back Chris Rodriguez and defensive end Jordan Wright were suspended at the beginning of that season due to an investigation. This is it.
