John Denver 1943 1997 was an American Musician he was born in 1943 in Roswell New Mexico
his father Henry John deutschendorf Senior worked as a fighter pilot at the Air Force Base
Henry John deutschendorf Jr had to move around a lot because of his father's job and when they
settled in Tucson at the age of 11 he started playing guitar on a Gibson he sang in church
choirs and played guitar in rock bands while studying architecture at the University of leuk
in Texas he made his debut on stage and was so pleased with the attention he received that he
wanted to devote himself to music the piece he found in playing and singing allowed him to find
a way to connect with others despite his shy nature the career Journey Begins Jon's desire
to pursue his passion for music led him to drop out of college and moved to Los Angeles where his

to purchase a homebuilt aircraft called The Long Easy known for its fuel select a valve behind the
pilot despite these challenges Jon couldn't wait to take to the skies on 12th of October 1997 he
made a solo flight from Monteray California the weather was perfect and everything seemed
to be going well but just 16 minutes into the flight disaster struck Denver Who Loved To
Fly had another accident in April 1989 also in a plane he was piloting but he escaped unhe
hurt the authorities said that the weather was favorable and the cause of the accident
was not yet known but the truth came out later while Jon was trying to change the fuel tanks
the difficult location of the valve probably distracted him from the flight the plane plunged
into the Pacific Ocean and John Denver's life ended tragically at the age of 53 the accident
was fatal and subsequent investigations revealed that the hard-to-reach valve played a critical
