does he get that kind of access because trust is involved you will never get the kind of access you desire unless there's trust and relationship you trying to put your game so you know you uh wearing a couple hats you got a friendship with Coach Prime uh but you're now you have a son here recruited by coach Prime talk talk about that aspect um as a father uh your your your your kids of your life and uh I would have I I would it's tough it's tough for me to put in words man because I've never been so vulnerable being a dad cuz everybody knows me as Goldberg and I can you know walk through a wall and headbutt you know Godzilla and knock him off his feet but um this is a different hat that I'm wearing and it's Dad and it's you know it's it's handing over my life to Dion who's a great friend of mine I'm handing over my most prized possession and I'm getting on a plane tonight and I'm going home as I said Kicking and Screaming but I have I have the faith in my heart and the knowledge in my heart that he's in the most beautiful place both mentally and physically for his his advancement to being a man and I would I would be remiss and saying that I was one of the luckiest people on the planet knowing that this is where I'm I'm leaving and I can go with a smile on my face and my head held high knowing that he's in good hands and I would kill for that kid and for me to have the the feeling in my heart that I do right now it's I'm blessed I truly am blessed you know coach has talked about Coach R has talked about he not only hires excellent coaches he hires excellent fathers that no one on their staff is a bad dad and so when you leaving your kids somewhere you're leaving not only hands of great coaches but great fathers and you just explained why I can leave with my head held high because the character of Dion goes far beyond his athletic ability um anybody can be born no I mean no not everybody can be born running a 42 and being able to reach top speed within the 10 within 10 yards but it takes a true special human being to have that ability and have that talent and also be a man and be a father and be a mentor and be a leader and he's been able to do it like no one I've ever seen and for that the respect I have for him is is unlimited and as I said for me to to feel the door closed behind me on that plane I I can do it with with a lot of confidence knowing that my son's in the right place and I'm not talking about a place where they're going to Baby him by any means I don't want that I don't want anything given to him I know he's in a place where he's going to earn every single thing that he gets or he ain't going to get it and he and along the way he's going to be taught not only how to be a good businessman but to be a man and a father and somebody who cares whether you're black green white Christian Jewish that locker room that doesn't matter that that equals everybody out and unlike anything else in the world but the military that I believe you can't get that camarad and this is where my son becomes a man and I'm happier than hell two he was a freshman Georgia when I right my my former teammate I guess still teammates right hey I'm from Tulsa Oklahoma I uh got away from the University of Oklahoma went to the University of Georgia yes sir and uh then I tried to play in the NFL I played for like four years and then I ended up carrying Dion's bags okay which I can't I guess kind of made me relevant then um I got hurt and got pushed out of the league because mainly I wasn't good enough and then my accountant called me one day and said you need to get off your butt and go get a job and then that's when I kind of got into the wrestling business and wow ran and ran uh out in the ring and tried to beat people up wearing my underwear in front of millions of people and that's why I guess a couple people know me but now it's not about me it's about my son so we brought my son Gage here awesome and uh we're just happy to be part of the family man anything anybody needs man we're we're part of the family so so can I ask you to do like 10 seconds or something for me I can do anything you want like you knew remember how you guys used to get interviewed yes sir can I get like 10 seconds of that for the people who know about the WWE give it to give me a some The Goldberg The Goldberg thing see I my deal was I was like Tyson I didn't talk I just smashed people really so so you didn't you didn't do the whole dusty road I'd say who's next right when somebody I when the camera would come I'd headbutt the door I'd pour
