North Carolina Football 2024 Schedule Preview & Prediction

what is going on everybody today I will be previewing the 2024 college football schedule for North Carolina I will go through every game on their schedule and I will predict which games on the schedule I think they will win and I will also predict which games on the schedule I think they will lose but as always before we preview their schedule let me remind you guys to like the video and into the video North Carina finished last season with an 8 and5 record they started the season 6-0 and they were actually ranked in the top 10 at one point last season it looked like this was a team that could potentially compete for the ACC Championship with an offense led by Drake May and I was pretty high in this team but it all fell apart when they randomly lost to a Virginia team that only won three games last season after that North Carolina lost their stride and heading into next season they rank 127 in the country for returning production and they also lose Star Quarterback Drake May who will probably go in the first round of the NFL draft the big thing that they have returning for them is a Maran Hampton at running back who is probably a top three running back in the country they also bring in Max Johnson a quarterback out of the transfer portal and he could be a solid quarterback but it's going to be difficult to replace a guy like Drake may they do return their top receiver JJ Jones and I expect the offense to be decent again but the defense is still a big concern and I'm person not too high in North Carolina heading into 2024 they fell apart last season with the very talented roster and now they lose a lot of production and I think m brown may be at the end of the road with this North Carolina team they had a new defensive coordinator change so we'll see how that plays out and we'll see if the defense could take a step up after struggling in 2023 I don't expect this team to be bad but I definitely have some big question marks with this North Carolina team but returning am Mar on Hampton at running back is huge but anyways let's get into predicting their schedule and they open this season playing on the road against Minnesota this will be a Thursday game and this is definitely an interesting game Minnesota is top 20 in the country for returner production and they return eight starters on defense I think that Max brasmer is an interesting addition at quarterback this Minnesota team was not great last season but they did win their bowl game and they have some momentum heading into next season with the talent that they have returning I could see this game going either way but I think North Carolina loses a tough game on the road and I have North Carolina mov it to 0 and one on the season the next game for North Carolina will be at home against Charlotte Charlotte went 3 and9 last season and their offense was terrible they have brought in 20 transfers though we will need to see quarterback Max Brown and running back CJ Stokes make a big impact for the Charlotte team if they want to see success in 2024 both of those players came from the Big 10 and the SEC and they could be solid additions on the offensive side but regardless I still think North Carolina wins this game very easily so I have North Carolina move it to oneone on the season the next game for North Carolina will be at home against NC Central NC C Central has been a solid FCS team but this game is still a mismatch North Carolina's offense will dominate NC Central and I definitely have North Carolina winning this game and move it to two- one on the season the next game for North Carolina will be at home against James Madison James Madison should be a decent opponent in the non-conference schedule for North Carolina I know James Madison loses Jordan McLoud at quarterback and they lost their head coach as well but they have done a good job in the transfer portal and I don't see them completely falling off I think James Madison will challenge North Carolina in this game but I do still think North Carolina will win this game so I have North Carolina move it to 3-1 on the season the next game for North Carolina is on the road against Duke I think that Duke should still be a solid team I think they will take a step down because they lost a lot of talent and they also lost head coach Mike Elco in quarterback Ryland lard but the defense should be solid and Malik Murphy has potential at quarterback I don't know if Duke has what it takes to contend for an ACC title but they are a team to watch out for I think North Carolina struggles on the road against Duke so I have North Carolina move it to 3-2 on the season the next game for North Carolina will be at home against pit pit was not that good last season and they went 3-9 the offense was very bad but if the offense sees Improvement this team could be solid pit now has a new offensive coordinator with Cade Bell joining the team so we'll see if a new offensive scheme helps out the offense they also brought in some solid additions out of the transfer portal Eli Holston will be joining the team and he could possibly start next season if he can win the job I still got a lot of concerns with this offense though and I think North Carolina will beat pit at home and I have North Carolina move it to 4-2 on the season the next game for North Carolina will be on the road against Georgia Tech this should be a fun high-scoring game but I am higher on this Georgia Tech Team Georgia Tech returns one of the top ACC quarterbacks Haynes King and I think Brent key has this team heading in the right direction even if they have a very tough schedule next season I have North Carolina losing to Georgia Tech at home and moov it to 4 and three on the season following their game against Georgia Tech North Carolina will have a byee and then they go on the road to play Virginia North Carolina probably has this game Circle knowing that they do not want to get embarrassed by Virginia again Virginia is top five in the country for returning production and they could be a team that ACC teams want to avoid because they could be that sneaky team that could pull off an upset or too they only went three and N last season but they also lost 5-1 possession games and they showed spark and wins against North Carolina and Duke but I do think North Carolina will find a way to win this game on the road after coming off a bye so I have North Carolina move it to 5 and three on the season the next game for North Carolina will be on the road against Florida State I am very high in this Florida State team and I think they have everything they need to win the ACC they will be tough up front and they are coming off back-to-back double digit win Seasons with Mike Noel despite losing a lot of talent Florida State continues to recruit at a high level and also use the transfer portal at a very high level too and I think that Mike Noll will continue to keep this team near the top of college football with a tough defense and a quarterback with room to grow with DJ UI angay transferring to Florida State and learning under Mike Noel I don't think North Carolina Ina stands a chance in this game and I have North Carolina losing this game and move it to 5- four on this season following their game against Florida State North Carolina will have a byee and then they play Wake Forest at home Wake Forest finished last in the ACC last season and I don't expect them to be that good in 2024 on the bright side they do return a great receiving duo with Taylor Moren and Donovan Green returning but they also lost their number one receiver Jamal Banks there's just too much to clean up on both sides of the ball so I don't know how I feel about this Wake Forest team I think that North Carolina win this game so I have North Carolina move it to 6 and4 on the season the next game for North Carolina will be on the road against Boston College this could potentially be a trap game for North Carolina but honestly I'm not very high in Boston College Boston College does return their quarterback but they also lost their head coach and I don't see them being much better in 2024 we'll see what Bill O'Brien can do for this team long term but I think North Carolina wins this game and I have North Carolina move it to 7 and4 on the season in the last game of the season for North Carolina will be at home against state I'm pretty high in NC State heading it to 2024 I think Grays mall is a very underrated pick up at quarterback in the Freshman white out Kevin concepion is going to wreck havoc in the ACC and then you add new receivers Wesley Grimes and Noah Rogers who could really fit into this offense and they also added running back Jordan Waters from duke who could be really decent in the back field for this NC State team I think that this NC State team has what it takes to make a run for the ACC Championship in 2024 and I think they are being slept on I'm very high in NC State and the defense should also be solid I think North Carolina will lose to NC State so I do have North Carolina finish in the season with the 4 and four Conference record and a s and5 overall record and like I said I'm not very high in North Carolina I think m brown is probably going to retire soon and I don't see North Carolina getting better from here on out I do still expect them to win some games because the offense alone will still be good with the Maran Hampton returning at running back but North Carolina also has an easy schedule so I don't see them taking a huge step down if we are talking record-wise but on the other hand I really don't see this team contending for an ACC title but we will see if they prove me wrong because there will always be a couple of teams that completely surprise everybody but the defense needs to be better if they want to be a surprise team but anyways you guys let me know how many games you think North Carolina will win in 20124 down
