I'm Jonathan Johnson and today I'm reflecting on my journey through the latest season of The Bachelorette and what went wrong in my pursuit of love with Jen Tran after being eliminated at post fantasy sweets I've had some time to think about my emotions and how I could have approached things differently I realize now that I've struggled with validating my own feelings something I'm sure many people can relate to it's essential to ask ourselves do I love this person am I happy what do I want going forward my aim is to embrace my emotions and allow myself to feel whole when I brought Jen home to meet my family that was a pivotal moment for me it was surreal to have my family and the film crew in my home all at once and trying to express my feelings while being conscious of the cameras made it challenging however introducing Jen to my family was enlightening helped me understand the importance of using the word love with her in the latest episode I found myself hesitant to express my feelings definitively telling Jen I didn't want to say love if I wasn't entirely sure unfortunately by the time I opened up and told her Jennifer Tran I am falling for you it was too late I take responsibility for not being able to express my feelings sooner my family loved her and was genuinely bummed when they found out we weren't together they truly believed we could have had an amazing life together but this isn't the end for me Me In Love during the mentel all special I was asked if i' join the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise and I accepted I'll admit I had no idea what to say when I was asked as I hadn't really seen the show before I just found out about it after I got cast now I'm diving into my research about potential love interests because I need to explore new possibilities make sure to stay tuned and never miss a story by signing up for the TAA daily newsletter where we bring you the hottest celebrity news and more and remember the bachelorette airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC thank you for joining me today
