we're checking in on our Freshman Class rankings and we've got Camp news out of Utah Georgia and Ohio State campus to C is live right [Music] now Matt breuning starting the show being passive aggressive you'd like that actually I do not like uh help what help support what it is that we're doing Felix sharp Austin n Chris Moxley Matt Bruning for campus to canton.com we are trying to push College fantasy football specifically here the campus to Canton fantasy football format how about we get this video to a 100 likes that would uh uh help me feel encouraged about the future of college fantasy football um of course we have our promo code with HomeField apparel campus to Canton for 15% off and Underdog finally got a partnership with Underdog C2C uh promo code C2C for a deposit match of $250 it's going to be a good show today we're going to check in on our freshman recruiting rankings we got some Camp news that we're going to react to but before we get into that we're going to start the show off with a little recruiting update because you know just like in the NFL fantasy space in the college fantasy space in campus of C leagues we need to understand the value of the upcoming freshman class so of course we welcome in Alfred J Fernandez from the official right here on the campus of the can podcast feed uh Alfred what have been you and Matt and David have been kind of studying this class what have been your impressions about next year's Freshman Class yeah we've been going through uh players on the official summer and you know initial Impressions quarterback quarterback quarterback this class is kind of gold mine for the premium position that is quarterback especially in C2C where you're often playing multiple quarterbacks I'm in a C2C League that can start four quarterbacks on the college side every week but most of the time you're talking about a superflex and the NFL side is superflex in most cases so this is a gold mine for that premium position just to give you context um we introduced a metric called the QB athleticism score this week so go check out that official but it's become a pretty nice uh metric for future NFL potential for the past two classes 2023 and 2024 you had two QBs each class four total that got an athleticism score over 90 which is kind of what you're looking for this class in 2025 has six in this class hitting that number so you know triple what you've had in the other two classes up to the last couple years can you just throw out who some of those guys are and if they're currently committed where they're where they're committed to yeah absolutely I mean you have Bryce Underwood who's everyone's qb1 uh there's no surprise there that he's very very good um you also have Matt Bry Underwood sorry and Bryce Underwood's LSU uh actually a lot of these guys are committed already the commitments are happening I mean 2026 guys are committed it's it's crazy but you also have um you had houon Long Street he's qb5 on the composite and he's Texas A&M you got Matt zers going to Missouri Duce Knight headed to Notre Dame and these are all guys in the top 10 not necessarily one through five in a row but they are highly rated guys you have a couple lower rated guys that we seem to like who hit that 90 threshold uh for the athleticism score Camario Taylor committed to Mississippi State and kind of a deep shot Felix you'll appreciate this going from Beyond The Arc is Lloyd Jones headed to Texas Tech this guy's going to get momes comps by the time it's all said and done uh and he's like a top 20 guy just outside the top 20 QBs but keep an eye on him uh we had the 2023 class Arch Manning Dante Moore uh nicoa Jackson Arnold and there's one more person that I'm forgetting there but how would you compare the 2025 class to the 2023 class are you more or less excited about 2025 than 2023 yeah great question because through the lenss of this new kind of a newer metric this athleticism score which watch the official uh airing the first episode this coming Friday and then two more Monday and Wednesday of next week will explain all of it but in a nutshell looking through this score which is really good projector of talent at the NFL level 2023 looks weak now I mean Dante Moore scored like 15 on this metric um Jackson Arnold was okay he was in the 80s but some of the guys that we propped up Arch Manning was in the 60s he kind of has a nud alarm uh after it's all said and done once we evaluated his velocity um which really hurts in that metric but the guys that were propped up in that class are now honestly on the field as well looking a little questionable Malachi Nelson's fighting for his life at Boise State this year to start you've got Dante Moore now sitting behind Dylan Gabriel for a year he's not going to see the field till at least at least year three Jackson Arnold's kind of the guy out of that group that looks very exciting right now and of course Lenor sers from 2023 looks fantastic heading into this year but 2026 at least right now looks like it's got six guys that right now I'd say I'm a little more excited about than most those guys in retrospect let's move away from the quarterback position is there do is there a weakness uh a position group you know of the fantasy positions that you guys think that everywhere else yes uh unfortunately the 2026 or 2025 class QB Centric but after that you've got a couple top end guys but as we've evaluated so far uh running back looks weak again that's back-to-back classes with a tough running back uh Talent um Osan choma who I think is currently uncommitted um is a pretty exciting running back he kind of has all the building blocks you're looking for big fast running back's not that complicated big and fast um can receive a little bit uh and I like Bo Jackson no relation to the Bo Jackson but a Bo Jackson out of the state of Ohio committed to Ohio State like him quite a bit after that really drops off at running back um I would say receiver has like Five Guys you can get kind of excited about and those are all the top rated guys we haven't found a gem in the receiving room yet for 2025 and then like tight end's got one or two so it really does fall off uh but you know QB is where the money is made so I think it's still a pretty good class because you don't get a QB class like this um very often so you mentioned the quarterbacks like how do you see and of course could have some uh players who end up in the in the player pool that are in college right now next season but setting those players aside how do you see the Freshman the first round of freshman drafts shaking out next yeah so we just did um a mock draft of the 2025 class first time we had really gone through the motions with that one yeah I mean and I waited on QB because I was like oh I think I can get a guy later but like five out of the top six picks were QB so Matt and David sniped me and finally I took one so QBs um at least from our perspective load up get as many as you can picks if you have them whatever just load up on this class but then yeah like I said there's probably five receivers You could argue first round Talent uh and those are the guys who are kind of high rated um Caleb Cunningham Doran Moore looks like a guy that I'd feel pretty comfortable saying is a future first- round NFL pick Jamie French is super solid Vernell Brown Jr committed to Florida uh also looks like a very Shifty very fun athletic wide receiver um Jamie French will be announcing soon he's probably going to Texas and then Cunningham is Alabama decor and more uh is the fantasy fun land of Oregon so all with good Landing spots I think they're all probably first round freshman picks and you're going to sprinkle in a running back or two chroma for us at least Bo Jackson maybe um but some of the other highly rated guys if you look at the industry rankings are very small you're talking about running backs who are very fast and athletic but like they're clocking in at 185 and to be Frank if you have an eye on the NFL in these drafts like that's just a very unlikely scenario that those guys are gonna be NFL differen makers so we we were going to lean to bigger players because we have an eye on the NFL and C2C drafts of course but for college fantasy only I think there's some fun smaller running backs but if you're trying to draft for future NFL Talent one or two maybe so it's quarterbacks some wide receivers a couple running backs Alfred I know we like to talk a lot about the guys that were ranked really lowly by the services that we kind of you know pounded the table for that ended up hitting but I actually my favorite part of the recruiting process from our standpoint every year is the really highly rated guys that we sit here and we P like we say Do not draft these guys don't do it no matter what like this those are kind of my favorite guys to flag because I think you can avoid a lot of landmines if you're letting other people take Brown Emanuel Henderson those are guys that we said do not draft even though they are highly rated by the Legacy recruiting Services who are some of those guys this year that are ranked fairly High late the fantasy positions that you guys would say you know as of now we still got senior season and that matters a lot but you you just wouldn't Advocate uh drafting it what their value is probably gonna be yeah so for 2025 there's two QBs at least that stick out like a sore th thumb and especially when a QB Rich draft you do not want to hold the grenade and if you draft Julian Lewis I think it's a mistake I think that is a mistake especially when you've got some other guys he's got an athleticism score in the 40s um which just you know and Alex you know watch the official it's not simply about can you run that's it's not that simple it's much more complex but in general he does not have a profile that the NFL likes um he would have to be either grow in certain ways or something like that but for the most part with what he's giving us right now not interested and he's like top I mean I think Rivals is is pretty much digging into him as like number one like the qb1 maybe even one of1 I can't remember I don't look at Rivals that often to be honest with you but um that's a mistake George McIntyre is another top five QB and he looks athletic like you watch him you're kind of excited but he makes a lot of mistakes and he's actually not doesn't have a lot of the traits that the NFL likes either when you look under the hood so I think he's another big mistake at quarterback and you cannot be wrong at quarterback in this class because there you know your league mates are drafting guys that are probably have NFL potential I think Dallas Wilson's pretty highly rated receiver he's going to Oregon uh but in the same class as Doran Moore you don't want the wide receiver 2 on his own team and he profiles as a wide receiver two even though he's highly rated uh when we looked at him at the official we thought he' just like just looked like a wide receiver to in the types of routs he run and the skill set he brings to the table not a true Alpha so even though he's ranked High I think you're drafting a wide receiver too so I'd look elsewhere from Dallas uh Wilson as well and then any running back is probably overdrafted in this class to be honest with you the official is campus de canton's recruiting podcast you can catch that on the campus deanton podcast feed and on YouTube and you can find Alfred Alfred JF on Twitter Alfred we appreciate you coming on and give give giving us the uh recruiting update glad to be here thanks for having me believe it or not that is the uh that is the most Alfred has watched or listened to of campus ganton live or Debbie debate in the last two years in the last in the last two years absolutely is I wanna I wanna go I wantan that's an inside joke for those who have been long time listeners by the way um I want to go behind the the before we get moving with the show I want to go behind the scenes a little bit before the show right before the show while we were a little bit late is that Austin and Matthew played each other in our you know big Dynasty online dynasty league on college football 2025 um I don't know who I should ask but you could you can probably tell who won or L based on based on who hasn't spoken yet uh uh on the show I'm not mad I mean I'm I'm disappointed in Sam levit he let me down uh big fumble interception to the defensive end uh on a play that probably in real life doesn't happen no he fell down and just like threw the ball up in the air like that in Austin's defensive end took it for like 80 yards for a touchdown I don't play the game yeah I don't play the game but aren't you responsible for the actions of your quarterback not that did this not the fumble either I think it is I think it's fair to say that Sam levit purposely cost me that game and I don't know what I did to upset him but it's okay cuz when I put in 25 video I just I just thought you were in control uh again if you guys want to you can watch it it's on Twitch uh me and Austin were in The Voice Channel talking with Tristan for a little bit Tristan jumped in and was hanging out with us um who is why is it not on our this channel on the YouTube channel I don't know because I didn't link it in times we were trying to hurry up and get done before this show that we had to do um I forgot Trent Borgo for some reason didn't opt into the game so they have a fake quarterback on Arizona state is uh something or something like that yeah mcdou actually really good he's really good so yeah but no it it was a good game it was a good game Austin you won do you have any words or you gonna be mild mannered even even in Victory I won by 10 you know I don't want to be a sore winner because the interception was and Sam levit uh did fumble twice as well I believe so um I uh I I don't want to rub it in too much because I'm not very good I know there will be a day where uh the shoe will be on the other foot w wow he just said is not very good and he beat Matthew by 10 points so um okay all right uh let's get to some Camp news here uh uh Austin I want to come to you first because you are well you and Chris are the uh the authors of the year one zero Theory and have developed that theory and um Brandon inis was a year one zero but he is projected to be the fourth wide receiver for Ohio State in 2024 behind Carnell Tate uh mea abuka and Jeremiah Smith and according to this is according to bucknut and they say that hey if you're the fourth wide receiver you are more or less a start starter think about Jameson Williams a couple of years ago with that being said Austin are you back in maybe on Ohio State's Brandon inis after being a year one zero uh no not even close I um if anything this makes me feel well I I think it makes me feel feel better about him but like not appreciably like to the point where I would want to actually do something about it because I did think there was a real uh chance or fear here if you're still a big Brandon in fan that he'd be like the fifth or sixth wide receiver on this roster with some of the other guys you know Jaden Ballard is still hanging around there he kind of offers something a little different milin Graham the true freshman is in there like he he's you know kind of more Jitter buggy line of scrimmage like maybe that's a skill set they they need more than what inis can kind of do so I think if you're like like if you're holding inis and you're still stuck with him I think this is good news for you but if if you're like us you know we operate under the assumption if you can't hit any of these bare minimum thresholds production thresholds as a true freshman that your your odds of future NFL um success are are pretty limited then he's a guy that you know this wouldn't change my mind based on that if any there there is one year one rece year zero wide receiver from last year that I'm mildly interested in acquiring in C2C leagues and it's not for his n NL potential uh do you should should I should I talk about him here it's former Ohio State wide receiver Noah Rogers who's Now with uh NC State it sounds like he's looked good there and I again this isn't for like I think he's gonna be a first round guy but I do think he can be you know a productive college player for the next few years MOX I mean I Gotta Throw it to you are you interested in BR in Brandon NIS not really I mean I don't know you're not going to get College fantasy production from the wide receiver forward Ohio State regardless of how good or productive the passing game is which it's under will Howard so all right um yeah I just don't think if you get on the field year one it it I think it's just telling we we can harp on the year one Theory all we want but like it's successful and it works because it works it's just not more complicated than that I just look at thresholds man the disparity in names if you go through the list like if I just opened up the last eight years worth of year one Zer which you can find on on a tool we have at the campus Camp website I believe it's for nil and all 22 members only if I just go on there and I read off a year like and I say these were the zeros these were the non-zeros the disparity between the two like you have not even heard of like half the guys that were that were zeros at minimum whereas all the guys that were like you've probably at least heard of them it it really it it it's Stark when you actually sit down and look at the list of players it's funny because you know you know people on Twitter want to who want to detract from uh the year one zero Theory they only refer to the immediate class the year before but they don't look back you know two or three classes to see who are the guys that were actually year one zeros uh I we we asked on Twitter are you in out on Ohio State receiver Brandon inis and 64.6% of people said out they are still out now obviously that's we got what 90 99 votes on this um that's our audience and they're familiar with the year one zero Theory so you know more people are probably familiar with that but um but you know it'll be interesting to see Matthew I mean you're the Ohio State guy do you want to add anything here on Brandon inis I mean I don't know that I'm in or out on him like if if Austin talked about if you have him and you're holding him like I might hold him just because I do think that that wide receiver core next year could actually really open up I mean there's not I mean Alfred talked about there's not a lot of depth right now at the top of that class and Ohio State's not in on any of those top guys either so you're looking at Mecca's gone I mean Jaden Ballard clearly is like not gonna take over there so with Mecca being gone it's gonna be Jeremiah Smith Carnell T Brandon inis we have seen at times this offense be able to you know hold up three wide receivers as viable fantasy options now can Julian San do that I don't know because that's who we presume is going to be the starter but if he does go out there and say produce in that year if you are in a league with people who don't subscribe to the year one0 Theory having a Ohio State wide receiver who produces who probably will get I would think decent draft Capital because of just the route Runner and everything that he is you could possibly flip him for something so I wouldn't say that I'm out on him necessarily but I'm not like going out to acquire him because I do kind of agree with what MOX said earlier like I don't see the wide receiver for even if he is the reports that I read said they're put playing him in like multiple positions so I imagine he's GNA end up being like um Mecca was in his freshman year and there was somebody else and I'm trying to remember who they moved around a lot um Garrett Wilson yeah Garrett Wilson but like he's not as talented as Garrett Wilson but like they will move him around all over the rotation there's just like the other guy they're talking about is Cojo an we folks like come on so if inis is gonna be out there if he at least does something like I don't believe necessarily NFL future but like I do think there is some value in that and honestly the helmet that if you have him I wouldn't just cut him for nothing I would probably hold on to him but I'm not trading for him yeah I I've got it up right here so I might as well just go over it just so you know who people who haven't heard this the year one zero Theory basically if you hit any one of these seven thresholds you are not a year one zero if you if you do not hit any of them then you are the in for the 2023 class these are the guys who were year one zeros meaning that they did not cross any of the thresholds the are these are Min minimal thresholds MOX you can probably give them better than I can but the year one zeros for 2023 were jion dicki Hakeem Williams Brandon Enis Noah Rogers Ryan niblet Jaylen Brown Nathan leot Sheldon Samson Aiden Williams at Old Miss Tyler Williams at Georgia Cordell Russell at TCU uh uh uh Aiden misel at Florida DeAndre Moore Jr at Texas brillan James at Notre Dame Robbie Washington at Miami and I can go on and on but it's not let's let's just go let's go to 2022 here and I know we've done this before but there are new people uh who haven't heard of the year one zero Theory here were the year one zero and by the way actually here here's some positive Luther Burton crossed all of them as a freshman Evan Stewart crossed four of the seven um uh so here are the year one zero the year one zeros for 2022 two classes ago you tell me which one of these guys you would like to have rostered and you believe in their future Aaron Anderson at Alabama Emanuel Henderson Jr at Alabama Kevin Coleman at Jackson State um Kaden Saunders at Penn State Chaz Preston at Alabama CJ Williams who's now at uh Wisconsin uh Andre green Jr for North Carolina I really liked Andre Andre green Jr uh Caleb Brown at Ohio State Kion Graves at at Ohio State now at Arizona Tobias Merryweather at Notre DAV ta Talon chatron at Oklahoma State Brennan Thompson at Texas Caleb Burton at Ohio State Tyler Morris at Michigan Isaiah satena at Arkansas I could Darius Clemens who I think is playing sccs somewhere now at Michigan like like I almost almost everyone you named has transferred too they couldn't ha it at the school let's just go let's just go to 2021 just to kind of prove the point here uh these were the year one zeros for 2021 jacori Brooks Mar uh jakori Brooks AG guy Hall Chris Hilton Jaylen ballor Deon KY at Notre Dame Cody Jackson at Oklahoma Jalil faroo at Oklahoma Karan we Hut Jalil faroo might be the most successful out of all the players that we've mentioned if I'm if I'm remembering correctly J Michael Sturdivant at at Cal now at UCLA actually like him uh romelo Brinson at Miami KRON Jackson at Arkansas Isaiah brev at at Oregon I don't even know who that is I mean anytime you have to put the little inflection at the end not not good right but I mean Point like Point like you you know people are looking at at at at 2023 and saying oh these guys still have a chance but if you look at the history none of none of those May Jay Michael Stant has had a decent uh collegiate career Jalil faroo playing in the slot there for Oklahoma is fine but I don't think that you think that any of those guys are going to be impact um NFL players definitely and the one thing I'll say is it is not an invaluable rule there are exceptions who will like always break it like DK metap was one uh Jarvis Landry one yeah I mean there now Nico Collins is the most n Collins is another one yeah so there are players who were going to break it over time and um that's that's great but the majority of the time it is just a rule to eliminate players from the player pool not necessarily Target players I think that's a much better way to look at it you're just making the number of hits your opportunity to get a hit greater versus hey here's who to draft all right I want to move on here away from Ohio State away from wide receiver let's go down to Georgia Georgia georia who is that Matthew why you ask me I have no idea you I'm just ask Chris knows who it is come on now that's like a classic song it's actually been remade once okay whatever um let's uh Georgia running back Nate Frasier has been impressing in Camp he was not there in the uh in the spring he's there in the fall and they say they're saying like he has been an explosive player is kind of what we thought he would be um and if you look at their depth chart he actually offers something different than kind of the the bruisers that they have in there Trevor eten you know a bigger running back Branson Robinson a bigger running back even though he's coming back from injury Rodi Robinson obviously you know very much that that that north south type type Runner there for Georgia in Nate Fraser they have you know more of a scatback more of a a satellite guy he's currently running back 42 Matthew where do you think Nate Fraser will be ranked uh come this time next season next season um I mean depending on who all leaves obviously to go to the NFL there's a lot of names at least in my rankings ahead of him of guys that could go off to the NFL guys like Trevor ET Devon Neil Raheem Sanders got Gordon Genty I mean I would say so I have him a little bit higher than I have him at rb30 right now is it crazy to say he's top 15 possibly even makes up to the top 10 I mean I I don't I know we loved rck Robinson but he's I believe he's dealing with another injury this season like I don't know that Branson Robinson is ever going to come back and be fully healthy with how bad his knee got messed up so like I don't know that he'll be the guy that gets like that full workload but I could see them using him um who was it with was it Sony Michelle that was with Nick chub that year that chub got hurt like I could see them possibly deploying that kind of um uh committee with maybe Frasier being more of like the Michelle I know Michelle didn't get the receiving work as much when he moved to the NFL but people may have forgotten he was actually a really good receiver at Georgia he was a very good receiving back at Georgia and I wonder if maybe they use him that way but I think he should be a guy who Rises up our ranks I I really liked him I think that he's a very good running back I would not be surprised if he does carve out a role for himself this year in the receiving part of that game because I don't think any of those other guys do that as you mentioned MOX where do you think he'll be ranked come this time next year I didn't realize how big he was he's already 210 on ug's roster and he runs a 1058 really yeah I I just pulled it up um so that was surprising I guess I didn't really realized that he was like that size already um and he's got legit speed like that that makes me very interested to start the season yeah yeah I should say uh Kirby Smart made some comments about him saying that he's still trying to figure it out meaning he's trying to understand where he's supposed to go based on his keys and blocking he said something to the effect of he's just getting the ball and running and so you know when you're running duo or some sort of lead whatever for you you got to read some guard's hip and he's just not processing that as quickly which you wouldn't expect um from a freshman running back but Austin any particular thoughts about Nate Frasier in 2024 2025 no I mean it might take him a couple years because he like barely like he didn't play get that many touches in high school like they heavily rotated which was kind of our red flag with him like he never dominated touch share in the back field with a bunch of guys that I like quite frankly I don't think are like special players so um I mean have him I have him exact rb42 exactly on the dot with where we have him and I think there is certainly a chance that I'm too low on him but um just the nature of kind of those Georgia running backs I mean it's kind of tough spot to predict they will be blooding in a new quarterback next year so I think that could help with just getting some of these guys some volume go ahead CHR no no one thing I will note on on Frasier is we're lower on him than Services were by a couple slots like he he finished one or two for the majority of places and I think we had him five or later than five I don't remember where he ended up exactly but we we were lower on consensus than he for for him uh Alfred you're watching the most uh uh of this show that you ever have before but is there a comment that I saw that you you were uh in the chat talking about night Fraser is there something you wanted to add well you know he was a really interesting evaluation for us and we did Chris is right we did drop him fairly low because we value guys who command a backfield in high school um his film is electric his highlights I loved them I mean he looked fantastic he was pushing 200 or more uh even in high school so 210 right now does not Shock me but you know when you look he wasn't the most efficient running back on his own team in high school his other guy is a top running back in 2025 who I didn't even mention Jordan DAV Davidson Davidson I think it is who's probably going to Oregon um kind of a Bruiser back so they certainly were like thunder and lightning um we just we just had a hard time propping up a guy who like did not command his own backfield in high school although went to an elite high school program maybe it's a caveat like they have a lot of talent there potentially but you know I think what smart says might be right he can out atici guys but you know is he a complete back right now I don't know and he he didn't appear to be a complete back in high school uh all right uh uh we appreciate your Insight Alfred all right um let's break away from the news and uh we got a lot of guests today here on the show we are Outsourcing content to to other people because uh Matthew has an attitude since he lost at at uh uh at the ends of the college football game so we have to bring other people on to talk I want to bring on Josh Smith from the squad Blitz at Josh has developed a a new College fantasy app where you essentially use you play with teams as opposed to individual players Josh I uh welcome appreciate you having you on the show um what it what went into you you know coming up with this idea and uh and and and developing it yeah absolutely so I'm a lifelong college football fan um I grew up just outside of Birmingham so huge Alabama fan um I've played fantasy football my whole life uh and then I I just I've mostly played NFL fantasy football but I just really didn't get into it a ton um mostly because I didn't play a lot of I didn't watch a lot of NFL because you know college is the greatest game there is um and so I have been I've an engineer I've been doing it for about eight years and so me and my friends started playing this way on like a Google Excel spreadsheet um we pulled all the data in wrote all the calculations you know did our draft um all on the spreadsheet and then decided you know hey we could turn this into an app um and see if other people are interested in playing so that's what we did uh last year we had like kind of a closed Beta had about 200 people play with us um you of course we had regular hiccups just like anyone who's pushing an app out there did uh you know we had the regular uh you know they mess up the stats and on Tuesday someone gets an extra rushing touchdown so then I'm back here trying to figure out how do I go back and recalculate everything but other than that it was great you know people seem to be excited so we're really looking to get it out there and get get get it introduced to people if you're if you're doing a squad Blitz uh style draft who what are some of the teams or uh yeah what are some of the teams that are going in the first couple of picks here yeah so uh you know it's been really cool and actually while I was waiting to jump on I was pulling our current average draft position for this season um so something we saw a lot of last year was you know a lot of people just picked like the big names you know Georgia Ohio state Alabama um but what we saw as the season get went on is that it was those smaller schools or more specific style schools that you know really jumped up in the rankings um so like when we went back and pulled all the rankings for last year uh you know like rushing specifically you know you had Liberty at one Air Force at two um then you had an LSU jump in there but you know there's a lot of these smaller schools that that really are what propelled people to win gotcha you can uh you can find the squad Blitz app at Squad Blitz uh the Google Play Store and I'm assuming it's the same the same name on the on the uh whatever the equivalent for like apple is I should I should know that um yeah so yes we have we have our website at Squad blitz.com um we're on Twitter and Instagram and Facebook um and then we have an Android and an Apple app like mentioned but we also have a web app so it it would be app. Squad blitz.com and you're able to play on there you know of course we prefer people to use the mobile app because you get the push notifications you know the experience is a little cleaner on the mobile app uh but you know um like me personally I'm on the computer all day I would rather do it on the computer so I've always been a big proponent that would keep the web app up uh so you can also play on there I showing off some some of it if you want me to I've got it pulled up but however you guys want to run it sure sure you want to give us a demonstration you're going to uh uh present now this is a this is really an audio medium so paint the picture for us uh when you're when you're demonstrating it go yeah go ahead and you can find and while you're while you're getting that set up you can that's Blitz withth a z Squad blitz.com is it is it ready to share Josh I'll throw it up on the screen if you if it's ready yeah it's ready yeah okay okay so what we're looking at here is the uh the app like I said there's a a web app but there's also mobile apps you know they generally look the same it is um it is designed specifically for mobile but it works on the on the web so a couple different things I wanted to highlight is one just to make sure that the concept makes sense so like this is a league that we finished drafting last night so up here you can see my you can see my squad so this is this is who I picked you can jump in look at Team details for it yeah go ahead yeah if you go back to that screen uh was that was that a pick order or a draft order yeah so this is how I did my draft um okay you know so obviously as the Creator I'm doing a lot of leagues uh so this one I went really big 12 heavy because I expect to see a lot of scoring in that league so uh uh for those who are not watching on YouTube Josh has drafted West Virginia's uh West Virginia and Colorado as far as passing teams in Kansas uh State and Arizona as far as rushing teams so you got Avery Johnson and DJ gens there and as far as passing you got Garrett green and uh and shador Sanders that's what that's who uh Josh has rostered there yeah so one thing to point out uh and thank you for keep reminding me that you just told me it was an audio platform so I will try to do better um so this is the draft order and then what you can do is each week so I'm scrolling down here and these are my matchups so each week I'll be matched up with somebody and I can change who I have rostered for the position for that week like I would probably not start West Virginia as passing um and probably not start Arizona you know and I would drop Arizona here or Colorado State see who they well they got Texas so we're not gonna do that so I'd probably start Arizona and then start uh West Virginia as a rushing team instead but each week you can come in and change it you know of course matchups in college football are huge you know so it's all about the matchup and then I'll show an example of so like this is my week one match up so what will happen just interject here for for again for the audio medium it's a very clean looking app you got the buttons there that you can clearly see team logos you know who you're playing very clean looking app here Josh yeah I appreciate it yeah so what will happen is dur during the week you know once the game is played you'll get your points uh for your squad based off of how the team performs so like I have Arizona here is my passing team so I'll get points for how many passing yards they get their passing touchdowns and I'll get negative for interceptions thr um rushing would be similar it's rushing yards rushing touchdowns and then negative for fumbles lost and then defense is one that we're still kind of tweaking with because just straight defense the first time we tried it wasn't as exciting so we added a few more things here to to to liven up the scoring with it so for this one you get sacks interceptions fumbles recovered and then defensive touchdowns but then we also added kick and punt return touchdowns and then kicking points um but you also have points allowed so all of those are going to go feed up into to your to your score for that week yeah if you're interested in in uh in in the demonstration I really encourage you to come and take a look at the YouTube page look at what Josh has developed here uh thank you for that demonstration Josh Josh I feel like I I can't let you go here without ask asking you about uh your Alabama Crimson Tide um we're we're really uh trying to determine you know is kayin deor going to give the rock to both of those running backs there Jam Miller and uh and Justice Haynes a favorite of mine do you have a preference between those two yes so last year I I really bought it bought into the hind hype um it was pretty Bumm to not see him hit the field as much but you know that's happened like I spoke with you last week you know that's happened a lot with out with you know Sabin throughout the years is those young running backs just really struggle to find their way on the field you know like I reference like Naji Harris you know barely saw the field it felt like that first year you know until the championship game um so yes I would expect both of them to get the touch a lot you know I think it was really telling that you saw the number two back you know transfer out to Florida State and at least from what I heard you know they're really happy with them in Florida State um so I think that's really encouraging I think the biggest thing for those two backs is going to be how often do they run Jayla milroad I I agree with you uh you can find Josh Squad Blitz app on Twitter uh Josh thank you appreciate you joining us tonight yeah absolutely I appreciate it guys and and looking forward to having everyone on the app thanks thank you thanks Josh thanks Jos yeah go check out the app Squad blitz.com Squad Blitz app on Twitter look at how College fantasy the college Fantasy game is evolving it really is not only you know people like Josh but I see new content creators um like more frequently than we have in the last three years like in the last couple of months we've seen more content creators who are specifically uh producing College fantasy content and it's really really encouraging if you've made it this far drop a like on the video or leave a rate and review a festar rate and review on Twitter um I want to give a shout out to we had a new R and review and I don't have the Apple podcast pulled up right now I want to just read it really quick um somebody filibuster for me while I bring this up every no one say a word he did this to himself okay and I do because we did our we did our rankings like drive and then somebody after that they they just said we're new I'm new and I really like what you guys are doing okay this is from seat toown Thumpers uh he said new to C2C and and have been binging the feed great podcast enjoyable to listen to and very knowledgeable can't stop listening we appreciate that se toown Thumpers and uh yeah we would appreciate a few more rates and reviews on the Apple podcast feed all right uh I don't even know how to set up this new segment I am I in the best position to do it or my or somebody else whose idea actually it was originally my idea but I didn't suggest I I came up with this idea like two like 18 months ago and uh and Matt you said you wanted to do it it not 18 months ago it was like three weeks ago with certain things going on in certain Landscapes that's when you came up with it no no no no I came up with this this idea uh uh a while ago all right um we're doing it we're doing a new segment it's called many are saying this many are saying this MOX take it away many are saying that you can legally not attend a wedding on a college football Saturday many are saying this I don't know if this is landing I don't know I feel like we're all going to do this very different because the way I was going about this is not at all the way Austin I nobody else WR on the I I'm waiting well I thought it was supposed to be a surprise so like I saved well I like to I like to prepare and write things down on the show sheet and so I'm like this was this was a huge debate on Twitter today uh if you're listening tter on Wednesday on or on Thursday it was on Wednesday like everybody was talking about this on Twitter so it was timely all I'm saying when were you when have you we've all been married when did when was your guys when did you guys get married I got married honest on October 5th which was a college football Saturday South Carolina's by week by the way but um I was I was August August 12th so it was it doesn't bother me it's not a big deal wait I want to watch this segment just crash and burn so like I just want to watch it just be B be horrible and for it to not land go ahead go ahead Matthew oh am am I going now okay okay many are saying this that Kyle McCord is going to be one of the best passers in the ACC this year with over 3500 passing yards and over 30 touchdowns many many are saying this oh we're supposed to say stupid stuff okay I get it I get it now I get it okay okay I thought that was the whole point isn't that what he okay I didn't have one now now I've got one I've got one uh uh I've got Roco Beck clearly one of the best quarterbacks in college football very easily in the top seven you know many are saying this I've said this myself has said this other people I know have said this many are saying this clearly in the top seven one of the best quarterbacks not only in college football but for your C2C leagues should be a uh a first round pick in startup drafts many many people many are saying this many people that I know are saying this you know I I've got my ear to the ground many people are saying Antonio Williams is gonna might be a top 12 wide receiver this year in n in college fantasy many many people are saying this and I know they're not going to throw for a ton of yards at Clemson but it Antonio Williams is so good that the people don't care they just don't care so many are saying Antonio Williams top 12 fantasy wide receiver this year book it TR Tristan's kind of getting it uh many are saying this that Austin bought season tickets in Boulder and a shador Sanders J Jersey many are saying this many are saying this I want to bring back I want to bring back some other some other bits outside of this one listen you got to you got to take shots you got to take shots I mean with as bad as this bit went I don't know that we are going get the first thumbs down we're going to get the first thumbs down that we've got in so long and we skipped the order on the show sheet I was extremely unprepared if I had got last I would had a better one you know I was trying to record some sound for this segment that would make it like I think a little bit better but your enthusiasm well the music and then like some actual uh fix going like and he was just gonna stick it in there when people said stuff I I thought it would make it you know uh oh man everybody just let's just sit in how uncomfortable we feel right now okay let's just acknowledge it let's just own it I mean um have we been do this show for like three and a half years almost four years at this point I think I think by now we should know that we need a little more Direction than that yeah oh it's my fault I didn't it wasn't my idea it was Matt's idea you just told us that you created this bit 18 months ago only no no no he only gets credit when it's with it works yeah when it works it's it's Felix did it when it crashes in birds like well Matt was the one who idea I I I did not we we got to get back to we got to get back to uh campus de Canton Court lukewarm takes what were some of the other bits that we've done well I missed the opener parting shots yeah your opening parting shots you still costumes on the show we could still do it you know you could do your it's you know something eastern time and then I hit the I I missed that yeah that I think that you need to be punching you got to say what you're talking about I could do it after after the Stinger if you're a longtime listener of the show do you want us to go back to the old intro long time listeners will yes they will absolutely yeah for sure because I I still get sometimes DMs I keep forgetting to do cooking with Colin and I get DMS just randomly sometimes like people being like when are you g to do your next cooking with Colin segment on campus like we've become so straight laced there's no bits There's No Nonsense it's just straight up facts and news and all I my Queen's wig I know it's somewhere I forgot about that Matthew better Matthew what was the judge's name in the court uh judge Deo Matthew BR we have a whole listeners who have no idea what we're talking about no idea what we're talking about because we haven't done any of who did who did we bring on that I just had to like embarrass myself in front of Richard it was pull out this really bad a and I think it was Austin vers David he got upset with me because he was talking about end or something something like that and I was like uh Jeremy shaki something he was like oh like people remember him or something like that I was like okay all right um all right let's uh let's move on here we're all right we're going to uh just check in that was awful that and you can leave us a fivestar rate and review and say that that was awful uh let's let's uh Emmy winning segment many many are saying this many are saying that's the I've said this we've all said this many are saying this that's probably that probably is the best one from Tristan in the comments um all right we we want to check in on I know we talked about the class of 2025 uh uh earlier but we want to check in on the Freshman rankings the guys who just enrolled in college to see where we have them ranked and uh uh you know if we're surprised about about where we have them ranked and and if if players need to be moved um let's start here at the quarterback position of course Dylan royola actually uh MOX you should set this up because you added some additional context here um in the show sheet do you want to just set this up for us I all all I did was add the athleticism score just this T okay all right fine so Dominic royola a 60 second perc I don't know I didn't know if it was something else you wanted to talk about there about while like setting up the player but Dominic uh Dylan dang it I did it again that's why he threw it to you MOX is because he didn't want to go Dominic rayola for the I tried to help I'm I'm trying to be like a somewhat of a producer because last night we we had like 15 different names on C2C live yeah so I said fix is the opposite of the anchor man thing where he reads whatever's on the prompter Felix reads nothing that's on the prompter I said NC State I called do Dylan royola Dominic about four four times you gota I'm I'm a lions fan so I I mean I watched I watched Dominic Royal's entire career uh for the Lions who was a like a fan favorite and like the antagonist at the same time all right Dylan royola at Nebraska 62nd perc percentile athlete according to our database some comps include Bryce Petty Jordan teamu uh Michael Pratt um I I have him ranked at 17 Matt you have him ranked at nine Chris where do you have him ranked and uh top 10 and the average r today and and Austin has him ranked at at seven I guess I'm the low man on him am I is my is my ranking egregious Matt I mean I don't know that it's egregious I'd have to look and see who the other quarterbacks you have uh yeah I'm gonna bring that up right now who I have ranked ahead and behind him I will do that right now so I mean you've got uh what is it you have him at 17 right so I mean going down I've got I've got him behind sh I've got him behind um Kiron drones Noah F shador Sanders Kaden Salter and and Caden Salter 16 behind him I have Quinn URS Aiden Childs Drew Aller Brady cook so I mean I I don't think it's egregious I mean again you look at it if we're looking at it from a man Tristan is hitting on all cylinders today with the com hook comments he's in rare form this is an audio medium this an audio medium so for those of you listening on podcast Tristan cook in the comments said Lions fan question mark does that mean he's from Windsor Canada uh anyways yeah Dylan you have to listen to like every show because that's another inside joke there that's another inside joke so if you are worried about what kind of fantasy value that he can bring then I get ranking him a little bit lower I mean again I I know there are a lot of people who are not high on Nebraska's offense the way that I've talked about I thought they could have a really good year you know you guys killed me earlier couple couple weeks ago when I said that I would buy him and I think it was Jamal Banks and uh even possibly even Jaylen lyd because I do think that that offense could be really good uh in that kind of second with Matt rule uh but I think he deserves to be top 10 I mean I know I think Austin's talked about it on campus life before like he's just a very in my opinion just like refined already Prospect at the QB position I find it outside of injur I find it very hard to believe he's not going to be drafted in the first round that right there brings so much value we are likely going to see him start all season long for Nebraska and likely for three straight years again outside of injury so for me I think he deserves to be top 10 especially with how many questions there are the quarterback position like I mean like you said you had some of the I mean you had Noah fita I mean don't get me wrong I love Noah fita as well I think you would M the high ones on him but I think it's not unfair to say his NFL upside has some serious question marks right now with his with his current size I mean I like Kiren drones I personally have some concerns about him I would have him ranked ahead of shador Sanders so like there's some guys that I think you should have him ranked ahead of but like I don't think 17's egregious um we're going to ask about uh DJ lagway here next but Austin are we going to be wrong about I think generally speaking we have DJ lagway because of his athleticism ranked ahead of Dylan royola are we going to end up being wrong on that I mean I don't think there's really any like just from a value perspective which is pretty much how I rank my top I don't know 12 15 18 quarterbacks on any given year like the guys that are that figure to maybe have some debie relevance basically how I rank my guys is just like How likely are they to hold that value till next year or appreciate in value like basically just you know I don't want to bleed value taking quarterback early um so I think for like a guy like lagway I don't mind ranking him highly now because I think there's not a great chance that we see him this year and the athletic tools are so strong that someone in your league will be a believer even if you're like skittish on him and you have him on a roster so um you know maybe we see him May I've said before on other shows you know maybe billion apor like fighting for his job and he just puts him out there as like a spark or something like that or MZ gets hurt gr Merz gets hurt or something like that but I really think I haven't ranked just the spot ahead of rayola in my ranking six and seven the two of them is because I think again like there's almost no chance that he depreciates and value I think the the only real scenario is like he transfers somewhere real weird this offseason because Billy Napier gets fired which and I think you'll have plenty of suitors yeah playing uh 2024 with last year head coach uh bill nap here there in Gainesville so um all right uh DJ lagway um I have him at nine Matt has him at eight Austin has him at six Austin who do you have right before and right after him uh so lagway I I have Arch Manning right the spot right in front of him and then I have um right behind him Dylan rayola but Sellers and Garrett NM right behind him okay okay wait why why don't I get chastised about my sellers ranking and you have them like right there in the top six seven I I have e yeah I don't know I me I have him at six you guys said that that was crazy before no Moxley said it was crazy because on on campus life I know a couple weeks ago I said it wouldn't shock me if he's like a borderline qb1 this for f yeah I have him at qb6 as well that was yeah MOX where do you have a MOX I I I don't I don't have updated ranks so oh okay they he would be top 12 for me but like okay you you acted like you had him outside of the you would have him outside of the top 20 or something but okay um jul Julian saying here I have him at 55 Matt has him at 30 Austin has has him at 25 Austin you're the optimistic one on Julian saying after his terrible uh spring game yeah that actually surprises me and really there's a couple guys every year that I'm just kind of hedging like I just think you it you can't be to one way or the other on them um just from like a you know what is kind of the range of realistic outcomes here perspective and I think saying getting that job next year is like not outside the BR of possibility like do I think it's likely no if I had to project who the starting quarterback is for Ohio State on September 1st 2025 Julian saying would not really would not be a name that I would really think but I I think it more likely it's either portal or I mean I'm not going to project a true freshman to start there but I think Taven stclair is a better player than he is today like just the kid they have committed next year so I I I think I have to leave him this High though just because like there is a chance and like it's so funny because I read some of these practice reports and they're like julan San threw three interceptions and got his ass benched immediately and everyone else online like in our Discord and stuff was like they're raving about Julian saian in Camp I'm like I literally haven't seen any of that I think just it's been a race to the bottom behind will Howard for these other quarterbacks so it sounds it sounds a lot like the the uh the quarterback battle last year between McCord and Devin Brown like nobody was emerging uh between those two so um but Julian saan is allegedly in the running to be the backup there for Ohio State I forgot to include this note here Julian San we have him as a 10th per 10th percentile athlete and no comps no athletic comps is that accurate probably no relevant ones there there were none that I recognized and like okay if I don't recognize you you probably probably got no good ones okay well Luke croman Hook is the uh Luke cro I should say the the schools here Luke croman hook at Florida at at uh Florida State he's a 71st percentile athlete he does have comps that we recognize and Grayson McCall at NC State now and Kyle Allen K what Kyle Allen is that Texas M yeah former Panther quarterback right yeah was in the NFL for for a while um I I have him at 79 Matt has him at 29 Austin has him at 46 Matt you you've been the high guy on chroman hook yeah since since before he enrolled there at Florida State why don't you talk about him yeah I mean I just think he has a shot to be the next guy up and I believe and Mike norell and um I always forget what the offensive coordinator's name is MOX what is it um Alex Atkins Alex Atkins like I just believe in that offense and what they were able to do with a guy like Jordan Travis go back to all of their quarterbacks like they've just had a very successful running quarterbacks and I don't think it's unfair to say that chanook has more rushing and armed Talent than most of the quarterbacks they've had so like that's just kind of my thing I mean even I did um an ACC practice report thing uh I think it was last Friday and from their practice eight through that scrimmage of last Saturday he there were already reports that he was possibly passing up Brock Glenn at that point so like I don't I I assume Brock Glenn's probably going to be the starter next year but I don't think it's locked and so I don't think Brock Len's necessarily that good and I don't think DJ's coming back or he's definitely not coming back so like just having a starting quarterback in that Mike norell offense is a guy that I want um and I do think he's got a lot of upside as well with his his legs and arms and I've granted I have been by far the high guy on him compared to everybody else on the recruiting team so it kind of makes sense that that high up compared to to the rest of you but yeah I think he's he's real realistically a chance to be the next guy yeah I I just I don't think I I have just not evaluated him so my ranking I is just a little bit of uncertainty there uh demon Williams I have evaluated he's our consensus QB 48 he's a 53rd percentile athlete would actually surprises me because he's super size size adjusted so he's he's pretty okay yeah yeah and he's a he's one of these quick twitch guys uh uh comp the comp is Malik Cunningham the former Louisville quarterback I have him at 53 Matt has him at 32 Austin has him at 61 Austin why are you so low on Dean Williams um you know I I think on this show at one point I called him kind of Dollar Store Kyler Murray which is like not an insult again like if you know who Kyler Murray was coming out of high school considered potentially the greatest High School football player in Texas history um so definitely not an insult there um but I think being the dollar store version of a guy who's already kind of an outlier is tough in terms of me trying to project you getting to the NFL you know smaller guy I don't really know I I've got a lot of question marks about what Washington's going to be over the next couple of years um I I have some like I did not think much of Jed fish before what happened at the past year or two at Arizona and I'm just really curious if that was a lightning in a bottle kind of situation um where you know they going on there so um they have to rebuild that whole team I yeah I mean I like him he's in like that the the section that he's in is like eight or nine guys in a row that I am considering like my premium stashes for next year usually I try to get like at least two of those on every roster so like that's a good group to be in I it's not like I think he's a bad player but you know probably not getting me anything this year even if he's playing I I kind of doubt it um you know I wouldn't feel comfortable so um you know it just the nature of not playing all this year and murky future just can't really get him that much higher than that but I don't think he's a bad player by any stretch he's gonna be a fun player uh to watch there for Washington just because of his play style dollar I agree with you Dollar Store um Kyler B Matthew go ahead yeah I just had we talked about lague and Julian saan and I guess the question I want to ask you guys because we we all do have at least lagway ranked very highly saying not how were are we that both those guys could end up being Malachi Nelson and and transferring out like we're we're high on both those guys but worried about what their possible Futures could be on those teams now granted Malachi did deal with an injury so maybe that's a little bit different for both of them but I mean if Austin you mentioned if Napier does get fired that's been a big concern for ours for lague that he transfers out we don't know that he's going to transfer out to a place that's going to work with his skill set so then how much does that decrease value because we said well if we're being honest at this time last year with all that stuff with Malachai Nelson we were like it's not going to matter he's going to be and his value has tained but I don't think that there's a a Miller Moss at Washington or at uh at Florida to to kind of leap oh state I'm not talking about Deon I don't think de Julian saan in lagway sorry if I said Deon jul Julian saan in lague oh there's I I think that there's a a decent chance that sa's not the guy just the way off age lague is in the portal it's because lague wants to be in the portal yeah for sure um so I think that would be and uh Saiyan's a little more difficult to say that on uh quite frankly but I'm also again saying it's a hedge ranking kind of just gonna trust the guys that have been cranking out first round NFL draft piit quarterbacks for the past you know half a decade plus um so that kind of the difference there where jetfish hasn't done anything in terms of getting quarterbacks to the NFL to my knowledge um and it's again just I think a I think the Washington rebuild job I have found out in the past about 18 months that Washington fans are some of the most insane fans on social media of any fan base they're just like totally delusional and I think they think that their team's gonna be good this year but I think that team might be a disaster um don't clip that don't CP that Felix sharp so I wasn't I didn't want Deon to be in that conversation although I disagree like I get why you're a little bit hesitant on Jed fish but like if you actually go back to even his time in the NFL with some of the teams he's been with he's actually had really good offenses and if you just look at what he did with Noah fitu who I don't think necessarily has some of the talent that DeMont Williams has like I I believe deont Williams at least from a college point of view is going to be very good agree with you not this year Wasington is a horrible offensive line likely not gonna be able to protect him true freshman all the reports have said that he's looked like a true freshman as well so I think if he gets out there this year he's going to struggle I guess my fear with lagway and why I wanted to bring that up is why we love him from an athletic perspective there's like one throw that we talked about a lot throughout the recruiting process was like his jump throw that like his mechanics I don't think it's unfair to say are very bad he is a very raw quarterback he's got an incredible arm really good athlete if you're not playing we we Felix you talk about this all time you already don't trust Billy Napier to develop that guy anyways and and at least tailor the offense around that kind of talent we've already seen him not do that so if he does jump in the portal and he goes somewhere else I think it's realistically outside of a handful of teams I think you have to be worried about a guy like lague more than a guy like rayola because I would think rayola with as talented of a passer and as good as his mechanics or I think he could transfer anywhere and succeed where I don't think you can see that with lagway so that's kind of why again I have him ranked very high too so I'm kind of talking out both sides of my mouth here but like I do think we have to start valuing that a little bit more and be a little bit more concerned about that it's uh it's it's I don't want to make fun I I usually tease Matthew and and push his buttons but I don't want to I there's I think that there's a chance we get to like December 20th which I think the transfer portal opens in December it's like the bowl season where the transfer portal opens and Matthew might be spoton because Florida has like one of the hardest schedules in the country this year we know that Billy Napier is on the hot seat you can get to December of this year and DJ lagway is in the transfer portal and his and his value is is so again though I think if lagway is in the portal by December 20th he's kind of choosing a landing spot here as opposed to malel who I think was kind of out the door on like January whatever last year you know like I just think there different scenarios unless something happens with lagway with an injury I don't think the Nelson comp is is fair at all like that yeah largely injury related to begin with but he was a guy that we truly believed in I granted he goes to Boise State I don't think lagway is going like G4 or G5 route right but so what's the list is it is it I know USC was in on him is it USC Ohio state Alabama with deor like where where does the list stop where all of a sudden you are worried about where he transfer because I agree Austin like if he goes in the portal he likely already knows where he's going if he goes into the portal that doesn't mean he chooses a good spot is my point go Florida and I think we can argue that's not a good spot the places I'd be looking are places like that are graduating a quarterback this year Ohio State that's why I brought them up they're three for me Ohio and don't have another quarterback in next year's class signed up yet I think there is a less than zero% chance that DJ lagway would end up at Ohio State I think it's much more likely like so here's Duce Knight's probably flipping from Notre Dame I think we all assume that that's probably gonna happen at this point I know Notre Dame's kind of tricky to get into like in terms of transfers they that like they just don't always let a lot of these guys in but like a school like that who is Riley Leonard leaving they probably don't have a guy coming in next year they they apparently like TJ car they like Sten nelli you know I like eating spaghetti but if I could have like some truffle pot you know raviolo like like at a restaurant in Rome I would rather have that than spaghetti from Olive Garden so you know there's there's differences here in terms of the level of play tell I'm clipping I'm clipping that abely clipping that by by by the way by the way the season hasn't even started yet DJ Lago is getting great reports coming out of camp and we're already speculating as to where he is going to transfer after this season I just that's that's college football in 2024 it's South Carolina for a year you just mentioned if we take Ohio State off the list that that's just kind of where my fear goes it's like I feel like it's only a handful of schools that he can go to that you truly believe can do that around him and like that's my big fear so if you take Ohio State off it's it's really just which Alabama fits that perfectly because they don't have anybody else there you would love him with kayn dor and then again if he does go to USC who isn't right I mean there are reports if we want to stick with the recruiting stuff that Indiana might be stealing Julian Lewis from them in that next class so like and he's the next guy so Lincoln Riley fits that mold as well but like outside that like I just think there's a lot of places he could go to that won't work for him and that's kind of my concern so all right let's move on here to the running back position freshman Quinton Martin at Penn State he's our consensus running back 23 a 63rd percentile a uh Athletic score the comp is his comp is Tony Pard I have him at 52 Matt has him at 17 Austin has has him at 19 i i this guy is 100% sen a committee back in my opinion like will never be a a bcow he's just just kind of too light Matthew what why am I wrong about Quinton Martin I mean I just think Penn State has a track record of developing these kinds of running backs and turning them into whe I I don't know if you want to go the studs route but it's just had these guys produce at the college level and then with that weight room I mean I know I know they don't have the the strength and condition Coast they used to have MOX used to talk about all the time uh but they still they kept the same staff around yeah yeah I mean they just do such a great job of this and they're already talking about how good he's looked in Camp like he's already moved up to that number three I was reading a report the other day I did the Big 10 one I think dropped on Monday morning them talking about he just looks completely different than everybody in that room he's already making plays he's a decent um I don't know if I want say decent receiv like he can catch the ball so I just think he and he's going to be the guy there I don't see any shot that single t or Allen come back they're not in on anybody in this class either so you want you want the running back too in the think they got to pair him I think you got to pair they have to pair him with uh with somebody I I mean even if they do I still think he leads the back field and you I said I you want the running back in the Annie C Nikki offense I'm just I'm it it's such a bad we talked about Nate Frasier earlier and how high he could rise up GR that's a Georgia running back you really look at a lot of the guys we have in our top rankings and how many of those guys could go to the NF NL after this year I mean I know me and you talked about this on the show last week Felix as someone asked a question how bad does a 2025 running back landscape look I think this is a this is kind of proof of how bad that that landscape looks moving forward and when you have a guy like Quinton Martin that high because there's just not going to be a lot of studs there uh David EO M at Clemson is our running back 24 he has he's a 60 60th percentile athlete his comps include Logan Diggs and Daryl Williams I don't even know who Daryl Williams is he's my running back 29 Matt's running back he like an L Kansas City Chiefs running back wasn't he yeah every fullback for like 40 years in Lions history and do can't remember darl Williams don't remember seven years ago um uh Austin has him at running back 20 uh Austin this is one of the running backs that the company has kind of put its stamp on and we have him much higher than the than the uh the Legacy recruiting Services yeah um just feels like a pretty obvious one to me that he's going to be pretty good in college you just watch him run I mean and I think you know he's a guy people really liked Benjamin Hall a couple years ago who came out of high school went to the same high school as David eziam and had if anyone remembers people were really high on Benjamin Hall then he had a terrible senior year he got basically benched by the guy behind him who was younger than him that no one had ever heard of it was David eum who took Benjamin Hall's job and then proceeded through like five games last year to be the leading rusher in the state of Georgia before he had like a a minor injury it wasn't like an ACL or anything but it knocked him out essentially the rest of the season like I just think that's the kind of back that you're you're dealing with here um like I I think at worst you're getting a guy that's a really really good College running back for a few years um and like like Phil mafa is the floor for David aam I I think quite frankly uh Taylor Tatum is our consensus running back 29 an 80th 84th percentile athletic comp uh a letic score his comps include Felix Jones from uh Arkansas and Wendell Smallwood wend Smallwood a Giants running back if I remember I don't remember where Wendell Smallwood actually went to school he's my running back okay there we go uh he's my running back 42 Matt's running back 26 and Austin's running back 21 um Matt are you afraid that there are like too many bodies in that in that Oklahoma backfield because you got javante you guys laugh about javante Barnes but had a good freshman season you got gavonte Barnes you got Gavin Sawchuk I'm a I'm a fan of Caleb Hicks and then Taylor tatums they are kind of the fourth guy no not really although I think a lot of those guys kind of do the same thing but Taylor Tatum was fairly highly ranked as well from the services seemed like Oklahoma staff really liked him as well I mean I'm not Barnes just hasn't unfortunately been able to bounce back from the dead bone issue and everything else he's not looked like the same guy I don't know you know obviously I've I've been a big fan of uh Gavin Sawchuk I don't know that he plays good enough this year to go into the NFL don't know you know when he does but I wasn't that big on on Hicks but I think the rest of the guys in that room are just kind of nobody's with with um Xavier Robinson Andy bass like I think Taylor Tatum has a chance to be even if Sawchuk stays I would not be surprised if next year if Tatum is like the starting running back like overtake Sawchuk and is the guy for for the Oklahoma Sooners and again I want I want the guy who is the starting running back for the Sooners so I'm I'm kind of all in on I don't know that he has like a menti draft NFL draft Capital but I like him rning I don't know what Andy bass did they catch some Strays here I kind of like Andy bass true freshman running back he played like linebacker in high school and running back word association Antonio bass was one time uh athlete designation at Michigan like 2004 2005 around uh from Jack in Michigan I don't think he ended up doing anything but Antonio we can't get darl Williams can't get can't get Daryl Williams so um uh Cam Davis former High School quarterback he's our consensus running back 34 79th pertile athlete his com conclude Zack Moss Jonas grey Darius guys Zack Moss I think is perfect if you if you've seen the recent uh photographs of of Cam Davis at Florida State you know big lower half kind of thick guy he's my running back 61 Matt's Running Back 40 Austin's running back 32 uh Austin do do you have faith that he's going to be able to make the transition he's making good transition much like uh much like uh Kaden Fegan at Illinois yeah except for I think he's like probably a better just like football player than Kaden Fegan is like I think there's like a little less of a um adjustment there like he just kind of is a natural football player uh my only really concern with him has been like the hands like in terms of like highend receiving potential I know they've said he's he's done it in camps I really don't put like any stock in that um just been burned too many times on that um but I they've said good things about him and yeah I think he's got a good build um and again like I you want the running back at FSU um you know royell is done after this year I think toa's done after this year like you really start weeding out some of these guys um I really I really think he can be the guy in 2025 yeah he tely is done have what I think kiah Holmes is still there probably has a year left of Eligibility but that's really it jayen Lucas slander hey hey I talked about him on one of the recent reports I actually seem to really like that kid so but they they're moving him in the slot a lot all the time yeah let's move on here to the wide receiver position Jeremiah Smith is our consensus wide receiver for there at Ohio State he has a 98 percentile Athletic score I mean I don't think that that surprises anybody Julio Jones Marvin Harrison Jr are included is compson he's going to be a starter this year he's Austin's he is Austin's wide receiver four he's Matt's wide receiver four he's my wide receiver three I don't know that there's much of a a discussion to be had about Jeremiah Smith if if you're an an NFL fantasy fan and you're tuning in um for the first time you've not heard Jeremiah Smith's name you know he's the truth he's the highest rated wide receiver recruit ever uh the the two after him are dorel D dorel Green Beckham and Julio and Julio Jones so we're talking about a dude I don't know that there's really a whole lot to say about jeremi Smith the one thing that I will say is I think it's potentially irresponsible to rank him behind Evan Stewart given what we've seen from Evan Stewart this far like his profile is largely a projection only actually I actually disagree pretty strongly on that oh Mr lukewarm gota take finally let's hear it well now I don't want to I think I think the Stuart stuff Stuart would 1300 yards he probably would had last year if he didn't pick up that injury that wasn't like that serious so he's been hurt two years in a row now I I I don't know how you can watch him and say like this dude's just Garrett Wilson like all over like just it's the exact exact same player oh yeah I think he's really I think he's really good I I I mean I think you can make the same argument for Luther Burton and tedar Ro McMillan who what it's worth I think you could argue that jerem's to be above all of them I've been tempted to move Stuart back up to one I had him there at the start of the off season and I kind of got I wasn't bullied off of it but just you know everybody you know blah blah blah blah blah kind of convinced me that that maybe he shouldn't be there but like I think he is Stone Cold a better Prospect than Ted McMillan like I actually don't even know that it's like that close like relatively speaking at the top of R well they're different players yeah they're both outside wide receivers but they win in different ways Evan Stewart is literally the perfect protype what you want in the NFL right now and McMillan like I like T McMillan but he's kind of D like the best big wide receiver in the in the NFL right now isik probably Mike Evans yeah Mike EV hiin like like like it's there's not a lot of these guys I mean and yeah I'd be happy with either of their their Drake London I mean that that's the the spectrum of player we're talking about the the thing is is that I I expect tedar Roa McMillan if he's healthy and seems to be healthy to go out and have you know 1300 yards receiving 12200 yards receiving double did to touchdowns um uh Evan Stewart is on a new team you know new quarterback he's got legitimate competition for targets and TZ Johnson so I don't know that the production is going to be the same for the the two players and I think that once we get to the NFL draft you'll have NFL GMS look at oh tedar Ro McMillan who just won the bnov award they take him at at you know number five overall and we have Evan Stewart go at number 13 overall but it could be a it as a matter of fact we probably are looking at a Marvin Harrison Jr Malik neighbor situation next year where you will have some people that have um uh Stewart above tedar Ro McMillan even if McMillan gets higher draft capital I think that that's the situation we're headed I just think the pie is so much bigger at Oregon like significantly bigger like in terms of the offense like last year Troy Franklin who ENT what the rule that Evan Stewart more or less is going to step into this year had 20 fewer receiving yards than T McMillan Y and uh both him and TZ Johnson were top 15's fantasy options which is like I mean you say that you know Evan Stewart's going in there with the a battle with TZ Johnson but that is also they're going to pass the ball probably I would double digits more close to 4,000 yards at least yeah Arizona's big concern I know Austin brought this up earlier is like I don't think we're gonna see in a show I don't think we're going to see the same Arizona we saw last year they don't have Jed fish there anymore they don't have some of that as offensive lineman and I I don't know that they pass the ball as much and I do just want to point out I want this on record uh no there's only one person on the show was never bullied off of moving ever Stewart of the number wide receiver number one it was Matthew burning he's kept him there H because I don't give any peer pressure atin just saying all right that brings us to uh michah Hudson at Texas Tech he's our consensus wide receiver he's Matthews wide receiver nine Austin's wide receiver seven I think I have him in the between 15 and and 20 range um uh Matthew are you concerned that he he hasn't had the early success in Camp that guys like Ryan Wingo Jeremiah Smith um uh like though cam Coleman he hasn't had the early success of those guys are you concerned not really because he was coming off that the injury and spring it does seem like he's getting healthy I know there's been a lot of reports that he's looked better uh what was it he was working with one of the footwork Kings I saw recently as well my biggest concern with Hudson I'm I still have him top 10 but my biggest concern with him right now is we don't really know who's going to be quarterback all season because we just haven't seen Baron Morton stay healthy and there's a lot of talk that like it's it's Maguire right I'm not who who's the head coach of okay like that those guys are all on the hot seat if they don't have a good season we don't know that this is going to be a great passing attack offense moving forward I still think Mah Hudson's going to be by far the best wide receiver in the room and still be the one moving forward but we kind of love him even more because of that possible offense and how great that could look now I know Austin you've talked about how you don't see much of a difference between like him and Jeremiah Smith but I do think that if he's not able to produce if that coaching staff is not there any longer and he does deal with those injuries and everything like I just I'm a I have some concerns about him it's not overwhelming said I have Miss as a top 10 wide receiver still but I think that you it's fair to have some concerns and question marks on him just based on what that coaching staff could be who his quarterback could be moving forward and how healthy he will be to start the season all right that brings us to Ryan Williams he is our consensus wide receiver number 12 I think he's my wide receiver number nine Matt's wide receiver 13 and Austin's wide receiver uh eight uh Austin you said on a show I think in July or maybe even May that you thought Ryan Williams could be the leading receiver for Alabama in 2024 just elaborate on your thoughts uh about that about the fresh about this young freshman somebody who reclassified yeah Jeremy Bernard's hit the ground running a little more than I thought he would so I you know I think the odds may be a little are a little bit less but I I definitely think that he can be up there with him um is kind of the you know the the second option I I won't even quite put him as a 1B but he's just like he's he exceeded expectations like his age level at every single step along the way like I I'm so he's just turned 17 or isn't 17 yet or something like that he classified a year up and the last two years he led the state of Alabama in receiving for like all high school wide receivers like that's like a good football state so you know is a guy that just like has been like an achiever everywhere he's been he was a highly ranked kid in his own class he's he's done well everywhere he's been he came in here without having the spring and he's already running with the ones like that should just tell you you know I know that there's not a lot of guys here that have experience with dor Bernard's really the only one and that's kind of why so many people like him they're one of the reasons why people like him this year but that kind of just gives everyone an equal playing field really Beyond just that that March experience the spring experience and so like I I I think he's running with them day one I think he does something that no one else on that team can do um he's skinny like that's like the big thing but like I don't think it's like prohibitive and he's fairly tall too so it's not like he's you know 5'8 160 like he's six foot six foot one and I think you can get up to like the 170s 180s and that's like all you really need him to be he's jumped Kobe prentis Kendrick law uh Emanuel Henderson he's jumped some guys you know who've been around that Alabama uh program so um uh that's Ryan Williams let's move on here to TJ Moore at Clemson he's our consensus wide receiver 13 he's my wide receiver 18 which is surprising um I think I'm the lowest on him he's Matt's wide receiver 14 and Austin's wide receiver 13 uh a 90 a 97th percentile Athletic score I didn't realize that he had these his comps include Devonte Parker and DJ ch um I have ComEd him to Detroit Lions Kenny galade and it's funny that Parker is here because Parker was a bigger deep threat at at Louisville and it kind of reminds that's a similar play style to how Kenny galade was used uh for the Detroit Lions he's a he's a bigger guy that can actually run routes and I didn't realize that he had that high of an athleticism score um Matt what are your thoughts on uh TJ Moore yeah I mean he the reports out of Camp is that he's been good as well I mean the biggest fear I think you have to have him is just this Clemson offense I mean Austin talked about and his many are saying this with Antonio Williams um you know it's just it's not a great defensive line uh you have to be worried about in my opinion you have to be worried about K clubnet being his quarterback um but I think the room is wide open I mean Felix I think you talked about it on the campus Canton live show that you did the other day like you think Adam Randle could really is kind of toast for the most part in this offense I mean I I think what the report I know the reports right now are saying that Ty um oh God who's the other one Antonio Williams and is it Tyler um brown brown are no they're saying so right now the reports are that like Anton Willam and Tyler Brown are by far the one-w of this offense and then it's Wesco and TJ Moore kind of repeat competing for those other spots I just don't I personally do not think Tyler Brown's that talented um and I'd be a little bit worried about Antonio Williams so just with the injuries he shown and everything so like I do think TJ Moore with just his athleticism alone could be a Difference Maker in that offense so I'm not necessarily worried about him it's really just the club Nick in overall offense I think he could arguably be the best depending on what you think of Wesco the best wide receiver in that room I've been reading a lot of the blurs from Clemson as well and I'm not sure they're I've not sure what I have read is quite as positive on TJ Moore as it is Briant Wesco it seems to be wesco's significantly outperforming him um yes Wes is the one getting the yeah Wesco is the one who's been getting the the positive Buzz really s spr does that concern you for a year one zero perspective or like it's a thin enough room where he'll get on the field the year one zero thresholds are so low I don't see how uh I don't see how TJ Moore doesn't cross a z one zero threshold I don't think that there's any scenario where he's a year Z the only reason it concerns me every time is because of clay Kade Club that's really the only reason it concerns me because I don't know that he I mean it's sad to say this but like I would not be I'm being a little fous when I say I'm a little bit worried about Brian Wesco not passing year one zero the zero through because how bad Kate kumnick is so I for what it's worth I think this is a totally different discussion but I don't think Kate kumnick is a net negative at all um I think there's other issues there quite frankly uh I'm being made fun of in the in the private chat about my ringtone about my ring uh going off dur maybe I should just get fined I should just get fined if my phone goes off uh during the show um okay let's just all right we'll do Bryant Wesco here wide receiver 24 my wide consensus wide receiver 24 a 48th percentile athleticism score but his comps do include Troy Franklin uh who just uh uh tour it up last year for Oregon my wide receiver 25 Matt's wide receiver 34 Austin's wide receiver 22 we just kind of had a conversation about him so I'm not I don't want to go into it more unless somebody else forever hold your piece on on Bryant Wesco if there's something that needs to be said leads us to cam Coleman uh cam Coleman at Auburn there with Perry Thompson you know I saw um oh sh Brad Crawford from 247 Sports he mentioned Coleman Wingo Williams and a fourth wide receiver who are just really kind of tearing it up in Camp that Jeremiah Smith of course that he expects all four of them to be firstr NFL draft picks uh he's our consensus wide receiver 19 a 68th percentile Athletic score his comps include uh Quincy IO who was I think for the uh uh the Jets if I remember I could be getting that wrong that was Quincy anuna but quiny anuna where did quinc where did Quincy IAD no he play for the Ravens but um for like maybe a year or two I uh my wide receiver 14 Matt wide receiver 27 Austin's wide receiver 17 Matt you're the odd one out here do you have a problem with Cam Coleman I talked about a lot of his what I perceived to be his strength and weaknesses when we did the uh the the the Freshman rankings show it's not a problem with him he he needs to move up for me because of just the reports in the spring and fall Camp I haven't really adjusted him he's I mean I would argue with Jeremiah Smith he's probably actually been talking about more than Ryan Williams like they just seem to love him at Auburn I was I think probably closer with Austin and in having Perry Thompson at least very close to Coleman if not over him um when it came to the recruiting stuff and I just didn't think cam Coleman in my opinion he was a little bit Raw coming in and I did not think he was going to really Thrive at Auburn I feel like I'm just going to be wrong on that part so he needs to move up I don't know where I don't know that I'd move him up as I was trying to pull back up what you so you have him at 25 that's not that much higher than me I'd probably move him up and like the 25 26 range is probably where he deserves to be because I mean it seems like he's going to be the guy that they target I mean they seem to be high on pton Thorne and whether it is Du Snider Walker white I think he's got a chance to obviously lead that room for the next couple years so I he needs to probably move up I think he leads the room receiving this year and for the next couple years I think he just comes out of the gate W for Auer I mean well you know I uh Austin mentioned earlier that Evan Stewart is like the prototypical wide receiver at the NFL is looking for now my problem with C cam colan is that he is absolutely not he is absolutely not what the NFL is looking for in in wide receivers right now they're looking for smaller guys who get separation who um uh these quick twitch you know guys who get off the line of scrimmage and are hard to cover I don't know that that is Cam Coleman's game he's more he's more of an old school you know 2001 2002 Herman MO type uh I guess everything comes back to the Detroit L so um uh that that that's what I see that's what I see all right um We're not gonna get into tight ends here because I just we're just not gonna get into tight ends anything else before we wrap up to do tight end rankings alone you know what MOX we will do instead of uh uh instead of many are saying this next week we'll do a segment next week where you just just go at it on tight ends you just give it you talk about bow and groan you talk about you know talk about all the tight ends you want to okay deal all right uh if you've made it this far go ahead and like the video and subscribe to the channel I we've never gotten a 100 likes on a video before so I'm trying to accomplish that that goal help me get get there to get to 100 but that's going to be our show for tonight apologies to K her street we ran out of time we'll get him rescheduled soon for Austin nce Matt Bry and Chris Moxley I'm Felix sharp good night good luck
