those guys got a little bit higher than Charles did in the first hour listen it was far from a rousing start last Saturday Michigan only up 103 at the half at home against Fresno State eventually able to move on to a 30 to10 win but the aming blue did fall one spot in the pole down to number 10 offense certainly was the big issue and to a degree this had to be expected when only one starter from that side of the ball returned certainly it's a small sample size but currently Michigan right near the bottom of the Big 10 in all of those offensive categories that we just showed you these Michigan fans let let's be honest you how do you fall after winning I don't understand that I don't get that you still got the defending national champions man you move us down the spot because we like here's the thing Fresno stat program people give credit don't care they've been held to 10 points 2019 Fresno State's a better team people giving credit good team they 10 points since 2019 so yeah all right uh how many Michigan fans want to hear coach talk about your team go again man yeah all right we got to move on Coach what what's your concern level for Michigan right about now Charles I'm very concerned you lost your coach you lost your quarterback you lost your running back you lost your receivers yet 13 players draft the NFL however the biggest loss offensive football starts and stops with the offensive line yeah you lost five all big 10 players for the last three years that was the best offensive line in college football that was their signature I didn't see that last week it's the hardest position to recruit develop evaluate it takes time they don't have time they're playing the Texas law horns today so I'm I'm concerned yeah I think the the offensive line has to be probably the most unique position group on on the football field I mean if you think about your offensive lineman there are some of the nastiest craziest guys got be but they are the the closest unit on the team you know when you think about preseason games we used to have an NFL that the offensive line always played the whole game everybody else might get a couple of snaps but that offensive line they have to gain that continuity so for us to have five new guys in there uh at the offensive line and last week you talked about they didn't get any push you know they never moved the line of scrimmage and so that's a problem so you talk about Michigan and and running the football and the lack of it last week we were built on that our whole lives Michigan's been built on running the ball so that offensive line has to step up you guys mentioned that the offensive line that's a huge cause for concern that's that's the that's the heartbeat of your team but also the two quarterback system I'm going to take it a step further when you have a two quarterback system the tone and the Huddle the communication in the Huddle the operations at the line of scrimmage the Cadence at the line of scrimmage it AFF FRS everyone no quarterbacks have the same communication same operations the same tone the same Cadence so that affects everyone in the Huddle offensive line the running backs the receivers and that's also cause a concern for me as well shiron Moore is saying this week he expects that offensive line to be better and they were better in the second half against Fresno State but hey thanks for watching if you enjoy that clip make sure you click subscribe somewhere down here from game highlights to exclusive interviews and rankings we've got everything you need as a college football fan right here college football on Fox
