hey Chase I'll start you off with something before the game what was it like just getting leave that chant oh it was cool cool first time doing it uh legendary chant so it feel good overall experience being in the dome and and seeing the crowd like that yeah no it was Ry it was R indoors is way louder keeping that uh keeping that noise inside so it was cool what you make your performance uh still got stuff to work on feel like could have had better hand placing but uh you know overall I feel like I a do too bad Chase feels like it's been a long time since we were asking you about like when you were going to get back to 100% what your timeline was going to be but like how gratifying that you were able to play a really full game in week one and get started off on the right yeah just blessed man you know blessed be able to go out there um you know so real exciting for me having that full game playing alongside Cam and the other defensive linemen oh it felt real good uh we we always got a great game plan going into the games um you know so uh you know them guys is definitely getting off that ball um so definitely excited when I'm playing with the uh with those guys were you pleased with the pressures I know you guys didn't get the sacks you want but usually when you get the pressures those sacks will come with them yeah they they going to come I I ain't too worried to you know just keep playing my game and uh just keep doing what I'm doing and I know they'll come do feel like the pressures did affect uh definitely did I think he we forced incompletions we forced to um interception so uh I think it definitely had a um a hand on the game for sure tennis said that you know a lot of people that were down on you all last week are now praising you all this week is is it hard to kind of block out that noise and not get too high or too low or is it is it pretty easy it's pretty easy for me um I say I don't really listen to none of it I'm just locked in like you know tunnel vision Blinder Z and just doing my thing are you hoping now that def offenses will pay so much attention to alante Taylor that it Prest yeah that's uh yeah then uh that boy that that that play that we ran is a great play great call by coach um and you know we kept sticking with it um and that boy that boy he did his thing soan one of the sax he he he ran behind you to go get it did you pick with him about it and you took my quarterback down nah nah you know you know sacks sacks uh you know they worth a lot so I'm glad he he he could pick them pick them things up what what does that his performance say maybe about his skill and and how have you seen him like as a player yeah I mean latte uh great player fast um physical um and you know just loves the ball um I think he's uh he's very good and um think he's going to have very good year I know yall probably haven't really gotten into a game plan of the film yet but just kind of thoughts on Dak and Dallas and his kind of initial take on them yeah I mean we know they're uh you know a good team um you know disciplined team um has great players um but you know I think we are that too so uh think it' be a good matchup and uh I guess guess we going to see have there been things you've picked up going against them over the years yeah you know I ain't tripping over no cowboys for real you know I I I feel like just in terms of Cu I played him my whole U most of my whole career um going in the same week um you know watch him um and try to put you know try to put ourselves in the best position to win being in Washington for so long do you kind of carry some of that rivalry still with with Dallas um n just more of a you know knowing what those play you know multiple times um you know knowing what those guys are about knowing that we have to uh put our best foot forward so there's not that much extra motivation to go get a sack on Dak even though y play too many times motivated get a sack every week so that ain't Dak ain't the one just doing it your pressures were like a team High to come in right away like did one like did you feel like you could make that impact right away that and what does that do for the rest of the defense when you are performing at that level yeah man um you I I I know what I can do I'm very confident in my ability um and I know what I can bring to the table and uh you know I go um so you know I'm happy I can uh help the team the way I'm helping the team and uh my job just to keep going how much does the way that offense played have an effect on what you guys can do defensively oh a lot you know when you put points on the board you know teams have to pass the ball um that's more um sack opportunities more pressure opportunities um as you see more opportunities to get interceptions and uh Force turnovers do you feel like the the offense defense they're really kind of coming together when we talked about it a lot over training camp that the team seems like the bond is stronger yeah definitely from this game you can tell it was a complimentary football um offense was they was hitting on all cylinders um literally and you know defense um you know we did our thing and you know we it just kind of played hand to hand thank you thank you appr thank you
