DallasCowboys - #LARams Joint Practice || Cowboys Depth Chart || Olympics Shout Outs w [Music] hello welcome to a long awaited episode of [ __ ] love sports I'm your host Jazz Monae and if you follow me on Twitter then you know that I'm using my NPR voice because I have been under the weather yes Tyler gon and I have something in common in that we have both been battling the flu and I was watching a stream earlier of the joint practice the Cowboys had with the Rams and someone was talking about Tyler gon not being on the field because he had the flu and somebody's like oh I can't believe he's uh making excuses because of a chest cold and I'm like no no no no no the flu is a different animal If This Were a chess cold one I'd be able to talk today because I've been ill since last weekend um and I would not be in a lot of pain I'm actually okay now I took some abil but headaches body AES sore throat which is another reason I'm using my NPR voice um but the main reason is because I want to get through this podcast without coughing and sniffling and I actually want my voice to last so just please bear with me this might be the most soothing and relaxing Cowboys content you've heard all day but I'm just trying I've been away for a while and you know I've been on break because of moving out here to Frisco and that took a lot out of me we can talk about that at the end once we get past the good stuff if y'all want but in addition to that like when I was planning on coming back then I got sick and so I was just like you know what we're just going to try it I'm ready I'm ready um and if I have to talk like a librarian it is what it is so how yall doing I see Clement in the comments uh good to see you I knew if anybody showed up tonight Clement would Clement always has his notifications on um speaking of notifications even though I've moved um I still got to work out here as a matter of fact I have a session in the morning so this episode might not be that long because I got to get to sleep so I can get up and help football players realize their dreams um so I am aiming to go live or at least put out videos um more often but I can't give youall a schedule because I still got to work and so if my clients say hey I'll pay you to meet me on this day at this time that's what I'm gonna do so that being said let's hop into the good stuff we're going to start off with some shoutouts and call outs and then we're going to get into the Cowboys headlines of the day which I thought was going to be mostly about this joint practice with the Rams but immediately after that practice happened more news came out concerning cidd Lim and Jerry Jones so we will talk a little bit about that as well but I just want Olympics Shout Outs and Callouts to do some real quick Olympic shout outs and call outs fun fact when I first started this podcast before I was on YouTube and it was just a podcast that I put out on Spotify um the Olympics was happening in 2021 so a lot of my very first content was about the Olympics and um Team USA both basketball teams men's and women's and what was happening with Simone biles and her mental health and things at the time so it kind of feels like things have come full circle in a way and so I do want to start off by giving a shout out to Simone biles I don't have metal counts in front of me y'all but one thing that I can say is that for someone at her level one thing that I always tell the athletes that I work with is the higher you go in your sport the smaller the Gap is going to be between you and your competition and that's whether you play a team sport and your competition might be um other people that you are competing with for a playing time or it might be who's across the field from you or in Simone B's case you know whoever is going and doing their routine after you um but yeah once you get to that level where you're going to the Olympics and competing against people from all over the world the gap between Elite athletes gets smaller and smaller so for her to one have the emotional wherewithal to go through everything that she went through at the last Olympics and deal with it cuz like let's be real she was dealing with her own stuff at the Olympics and then after that she was ridiculed for dealing with her own stuff and then she's dealt with a lot of stuff in the years since then and she still managed to remain focused enough to come back to this Olympics and perform and be elite and still be called a goat and win several medals and so not only does that say a lot about her mental and emotionally but she also took time off from training and most athletes know they don't train constantly around but they usually have a training cycle that they try not to break for the sake of making continued process progress so the fact that she was able to take time out of that cycle in addition to dealing with a lot of the mental and emotional things that she was dealing with and still come back not four years later like normally because with the pandemic the 2020 Olympics happen in 2021 so she came back just three years later and performed the way that she's performed props to her so huge shout out to her um I want to give a general shout out to just everybody who's competing in the Olympics because that's just like major um I want to give a shout out to the Olympic Committee themselves um one of the more impressive things and y'all might have seen headlines about this they had 300,000 condoms delivered to the athletes Village so they are keeping these athletes safe not only physically but also sexually and it's I get that Paris is a city of love but that is kind of ambitious right so for reference there's 10,500 athletes 10,500 athletes and they order 300,000 condoms so just do the math and then you got to think that like in any given encounter for the well I won't even say for the most part in a lot of cases both people or I can't even say both all the people whatever y'all get it if you have 10,000 athletes not all 10,000 of them are wearing in condoms it's the point that I'm trying to get to I'm trying to account for all the scenarios here I'm like both people no no they could be doing three and four whatever but I'm just saying 300,000 condoms um good job Paris you clearly believe in the the stamina um and just the drive of these athletes as they say on the uh new genx commercials you you really believe in their Drive um so yeah ImaneKhelif #AngelaCarini - Facts and info about gender standards in women's boxing and then the last thing that I want to mention um about the Olympics is kind of a shout out kind of a call out what really makes this interesting is that in 2021 when I first started this podcast and I was covering the Olympics one of the things that we talked about was some of the new regulations coming out regarding gender identity in the Olympics right and so at the time they were switching switching from this very strict way of measuring testosterone in athletes to a more um I don't want to call it General but basically it was a set of guidelines that allowed the governing bodies for each sport to determine how they wanted to classify athletes based on gender and whatnot and so we had a few episodes where we talked about and I say we because at the time I had a a co-host for those who weren't around at the time um and so we did a few episodes where we talked about trans athletes and me and my co-host both played roller derby right so in the sport of roller derby um in most uh governing bodies or in most rule sets there are trans athletes so I have skated with and against uh trans women and trans men um on multiple occasions more than one of them and so we were talking about our experiences with that and one of the things that we talked about was the fact that while yeah there were a couple of trans athletes who were you know kind of scary in in sense of their size and how hard they would hit but when we thought about who we were most intimidated by on the track there were far more cisgendered athletes than trans athletes that we usually had a problem with and so sport of roller derby since uh or modern roller derby flat track roller derby since its Inception has been very Grassroots so while we did go to events like world champion ship and there are there is the World Cup and you know our team Violet Crown did compete in in world or no not World Championships uh we went to the USA Roller Sports championships so we won third place out of all teams in the country right so we have official events like that and international events but there's also a lot of just like pickup scrimmages and random events as a matter of fact there was one here in Dallas tonight that I didn't go to um but I do plan for anybody watching I do plan to go to more roller W events here in Dallas but anyway I say all that to say going to all these events you end up skating with a lot of different people from different teams and from different places so not only did we have teammates who are trans but we just would sometimes randomly show up to a drop in scrimmage um and not know who was going to be there and you end up skating with men women non-binary people trans people and after a while you're like well why would I trip over being on the track with a guy who's 61 you know 195 PBS when I got a teammate I have to practice against who's 63 225 and you kind of get to the point where it's like okay height and weight can you hear me yes okay sorry I need to get a new cable for this for this mic it it comes out really easily yeah so it kind of got to the point where height and weight w and and ferocity and aggressiveness weren't really determined by gender so after you do that so often you get to the point where it's like I don't give a [ __ ] what in your pants put on your skates and see me on the track whatever um and so with that being the case when it came to like this big deal over trans athletes we're like What We skate against trans athletes all the time they hit us we hit them like why is this a big deal so this is all connected to the conversations we had in about their regulations and how it plays into this situation with Amman khif so if you haven't heard about the situation um first of all um congratulations from getting out from under that rock you've been under but basically this was a situation where um algeria's immani khif uh was uh in a match against Italy's and Ang Kini and Angela karini I'm for now I'm going say she lost because if you don't know this story I'm going to tell you more details about this story because a lot of people didn't actually see the fight and don't know the details but she lost a fight against imman khif and after that happened she and the Italian Prime Minister started accusing her of being a trans athlete now those accusations didn't come out of nowhere but I'm get to that in a second what really pissed me off about the fact that they accused her of being trans and how many people jumped on board that train was that it's not like ammani khif just beat the living crap out of this woman and beat her to a pulp and then she got up and was like oh there's no way that's a woman Angela karini gave up after 46 seconds she wasn't even defeated by rule after 46 seconds she gave up and she said I've never been hit so hard I think the translation was I've never been hit with such a powerful punch something like that so she gave up and then I suppose to save herself some embarrassment started accusing Amman C of not being an eligible fighter and of being a man and I'm like okay to all the women who backed up Angela karini is that really who y'all want representing us a fighter who makes it all the way to the Olympics and then gives up cuz she got hit hard I'm like of course you've never been hit this hard [ __ ] the Olympics like you're facing the best fighters in the world like did you think that they would it would be just like you know what you face in your in your hometown no this is this is literally a different level this is an event that literally only comes around every four years so yes you got hit harder than you've ever been hit and instead of standing up to that like a lot of my teammates would have done on the track I've seen it happen over and over again I've seen women get harder hit harder than they've ever been hit by trans skaters by non-binary skaters by men and get up and keep fighting but no this [ __ ] gave up and then started throwing out false accusations against a fighter right so here's where the accusations came from so like I think there were some people who thought the accusations kind of came out of nowhere they were connected to um a cont a controversial situation that happened in 2023 with the international boxing Association so now I'm gonna read a couple of excerpts from uh an article that was written by Jamie Schultz for the conversation.com and Jamie Schultz wrote a book I don't remember oh she wrote a book called regulating bodies if you want you know more of her opinion but in this article she says um incident might have been relatively uncontroversial word not for what had happened during the 2023 international boxing Association World Championships during that tournament two days before its conclusion officials had disqualified khif who competes in the 66 kilogram weight class and taiwan's ly uting who fights at 57 kilograms the IBA issued an official statement asserting that the women did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors so that sounds really official right but there's a little bit more to that story so here's the thing um in the 2021 framework that I just told y'all about the international Olympic Committee basically allowed each Sports governing bodies to determine their guidelines right so in this article it says there were two big problems with the ib's decision to disqualify khif and Lynn both of whom have been competing competing in this sport for years and whose passports confirm that they are women which in Algeria would not be possible because it's literally illegal to be Trans in Algeria um so first the boxing Association was not acting in accordance with its official regulations so I'm not going to bring it all up on the screen for y'all because I do want to get to the cowboy stuff but basically if you bring up the minutes from when they made the decision or not when they made the decision it was the meeting they had after they made the decision to disqualify khif in 2023 basically there were people at that meeting who were like okay how did this happen what exactly happened and they all kind of were like well we just made the decision on the Fly and everybody was like okay well we're okay with the decision so it stands um but let's kind of change how we do things so that way we do that in the future but up until the point up until that point the process they went through to disqualify khif wasn't how they normally did business so the ioc said this they said the IBA suddenly disqualified the woman from the 2023 World Championships without any due process and that the the decision was contrary to good governance so in other words anybody who heard about this ruling the international Olympic Committee had already said yo we know what the IBA did and we're not here for it it's not okay um the article goes on it says second the ioc no longer regards the IBA is boxing's International Federation and it was partially due to this situation where they disqualified these two women um but what's more concerning it says after a series of concerns about the ib's finances governance and ethics the ilc stripped the IBA of its official recognition in 2023 and instead appointed the Paris 2024 boxing unit to organize the Olympic tournament so in other words the the international Olympic Committee was like okay we don't like how you went about disqualifying these two women but even beyond that the way you do business the way you handle your finances your ethics we don't [ __ ] with none of it actually so we're just going to remove you from governing this whole Sport and we're going to organize Olympic boxing with somebody else because we don't trust you so um one other thing to note is that the there still is no knowledge of what exactly happened that caus these two women to be disqualified so if you look at the minutes and if you look at the documentation from the IBA concerning khif they just said that there was a test that was done and that that it's sealed that it's secure and they can't release anything about it so not the ioc or anybody who has any access to the records that are supposed to be public has any idea of why these women were actually suspended the IBA was just like well we decided that they have an unfair competitive advantage over other women and so we're going to disqualify them that is such [ __ ] and so basically a lot of the people who are saying No this is a trans fighter were going back to what the IBA did last year in World Championships but the IBA themselves has no justification for what they did and whatever they did whatever was found during their investigation the ioc was like we don't [ __ ] with it so even though we gave y'all permission to set your own guidelines y'all are going about things in such an unethical way especially when it comes to gender identity we're just not going to associate with with you anymore so I just wanted to put that out there because there's this has been such a controversial topic and there's been a lot of facts associated with it that just have not been discussed and if there's one thing that I like to do is educate my audience so I wanted y'all to understand some of what was going going on with the situation and so something else to consider is that um both of these women who I just mentioned actually did compete in the last Olympics in the 2020 Olympics which happened in 2021 ammani khif did compete she placed Fifth and no one had anything to say about her gender but it became an issue once she became eligible for the gold medal around then all of a sudden people wanted to say she was a man so no matter which angle you attack this particular situation it's all [ __ ] and it feeds into the idea that there's a right way to be a woman that you have to look a certain way that you should be a certain size that your strength should be limited to a certain degree otherwise we're going to question your Womanhood and as I mention a lot I work with athletes in several capacities I have had to work with male athletes who have low testosterone and that was another interesting thing about this conversation is that afterwards people were like well maybe they should separate classifications based on testosterone levels and I'm like okay so are we going to start telling men with low testosterone that they can't compete against other men because they're out there I've I've had to work with men who get in their 30s and their testosterone drops and then all of a sudden they're like okay you know what legal means can I use in order to raise my testosterone and get my stats back up get my numbers back up because it affects their endurance it affects their muscle development it affects their recovery and a lot of times these guys don't even know until they get a test they're like so like recreational athletes they might never find out if their testosterone is low but there are some people who compete on a high enough level to where if things start getting weird with their training um it's it's two tests that I see commonly well no three tests that I see see commonly I see sleep tests done I see food tests done like they want to see if they're having some um some sort of response or intolerance to certain foods or ingredients and then they get blood work done to look at their testosterone and other aspects of their blood so not everybody finds out what they're made of you know like how ammani khif it came out that she has Y chromosomes there's actually a lot of women in this world who have a y chromosome um there's a lot of women who have high levels of testosterone there's a lot of men who have low levels of testosterone and yes it is a biological Advantage like sports is about biological advantages I know they like to sell us this idea of hard work and you know having a good work ethic but at the end of the day there are so many things from brain chemistry to size and weight genetics to recovery systems Energy Systems um flexibility like the stiffness or flexibility and mobility of certain ligaments there's so many things about athletic performance that are determined by genetics that there is literally no way you could ever classify every single person based on a strict set of guidelines and that's essentially the problem that events like the Olympics are running into today it's that they are trying to classify athletes based on strict guidelines of what is a man and what is a woman and unfortunately that's just not how nature works and so we've dealt with it for a while um and I'm sure they'll keep trying to come up with better ways to classify athletes and make competition more exciting um or more fair by certain people's standards but for now I just really want people to get out of the idea of trying to tell other people what a woman is supposed to be and villainizing the idea of falling outside of strict gender guidelines whether it's that you're a non-conforming woman or a non-binary person or transperson whatever like let people live like unless they're your partner it really don't matter what's in their pants or what used to be in their pants or what they had removed from inside their pants like it's crazy but anyway um I've been on that for long enough let's talk about the Cowboys we have some shout outs and call outs for them as well real quick I'm G get some water I'm G look at y'all's comments my throat is like I got to not laugh at myself because I can already feel my voice going y'all hold on all right I'm going try not to sniffle too because I I realized this mic really picks it up and for some people that's gross um Willie Carwell said welcome back thanks happy to be back Ben says hey Ben lore how's it going I don't know if you're still in here but thanks for hopping into the chat um Clement came with the stats for Simone biles thank you uh said I believe it's nine Golds and two Silvers and then she got fifth in some events also shout out to Summer Katie lei for winning two golds in the pool us women basketball continue to dominate on the court yes yes yes um US Women's Basketball is going to face Brazil in the gold medal match oh no that's soccer in the gold medal match on Saturday um shout out to the men's Olympic teams so Clement put in the chat Shout out to Team USA Men's Basketball #USABMNT shout out to the men's Olympic team I'm gonna talk about this game real quick and then we're going to get to the Cowboy St I promise but I was watching that game today and so I'm in a new apartment right and a lot of times I'm not even here i' I've been out working and doing other things but uh today I was watching the game here and I was like if my neighbors don't know me yet they're going to know me now because like if I get excited watching a sporting event I will scream and I screamed a lot during that game um in the first half I was shouting out of frustration and in the second half I would even say the second half like the last five to eight minutes I was just completely blown away with the performance of this team so long story short us is playing Serbia um Nicola y yic play for Ser Serbia and they have a few other people they have some amazing Shooters on that team and also I think with them being so used to International rules they um they just brought a lot of physicality they were very aggressive so Fe rules they're really not as strict when it comes to calling fouls and whatnot so um teams that play under that rule set tend to be a little bit more physical a little bit more aggressive because they know they can get away with it right and so it kind of felt like the US was having a little trouble with that especially a few players like I didn't like what I saw from Anthony Edwards early on there was a lot of turnovers he looked a little bit um just not fluid you know he had a couple good moments like he had a good block but for the most part I didn't like what I was seeing from him and I was happy when they benched him Devin Booker just there was a point towards the end of the first half where I I guess Devon Booker was expected to be the leader on the court it was like who was on the court it was a random lineup it was like uh Devin Booker uh Anthony Davis Anthony Edwards I just remember thinking to myself there are no leaders on the court right now and out of everybody Devin Booker would have been the most likely to be the leader but I I feel like he's been so used to not leading like that he like they just looked all kind of disjointed disheveled it was not pretty so they come out in the second half they start coming back a little bit they end up down by like 16 or 17 again and when they started to come back so I've seen two different responses to this right on one side I saw people say well they started to come back because they kind of threw out what Steve Kerr was telling them to do and they started just kind of playing more backyard ball and just doing what felt right in the moment you know and so the playing that style of basketball is what International Teams can't handle and it's what the US is good at and that's why they came back that might be true but I'm going to tell y'all what I saw what I saw was that they started taking advantage of Serbia's physical style of play they took the risk of being more conservative for a little while with what looked to me like the aim of putting Serbia in the penalty first like getting to the point where they were shooting free throw first so basically they got to the point where they were shooting free throws for every foul and also yic had like four files so he himself had to play a little bit more conservatively if he wanted to stay on the court and so when that happened they were able to ramp it up a little bit because they still had I think a couple of more fouls before it got to the point where Serbia would be taking free throws and so that to me was where the shift happened was when they strategic ially did that so they got Serbia to calm down a little bit defensively they were able to wrap it up ramp it up offensively they got the score close and then um it tied then they were down by two then Steph Curry hit a three-pointer and they were up by one and then after that they just had so much momentum that it was just like they just had to keep it going and they ended up winning by like five I think and oh man it was just such an exciting ending um if you have peacock or if you have YouTube TV and your DVR is set to record the Olympic um events you should definitely go back and watch it even if you just watch the second half because if you turn it on for the second half you'll see that they were down by a lot and had to come back so it was awesome it was awesome um and and I must say um hold on let me mute myself so I can cough so I must say so in case yall didn't know I'm black right um and so how can I put this patriotism is often associated with racist white people let's just be real like if I go somewhere especially in Texas and I see like too many American flags kind of freaks me out a little bit I start to think like I should get the [ __ ] out of here right but it was something about this wind that I just started seeing some of the most patriotic black people on Twitter that I've ever seen in my life and some of the tweets were just funny and one of them was like yeah and that's on the rocket red glare and I was like what is this but I was like I'm I'm definitely saving that one that's on the Rock is red glare so um good game definitely go back and watch it B lore is like your what yes I I know it might not be obvious but just to keep us all on the same page all right okay so let's talk Let's Talk Cowboys Cowboys like I said I have some shout outs and call outs concerning the Cowboys so I almost don't even feel like talking about the joint practice that happened with the Rams today because it just I just feel like it pales in comparison to the news that came out about Jerry Jones and CD lamb but I will talk about um The Joint practice a little bit today so there were some people who were calling it a scrimmage it wasn't a scrimmage it wasn't intended to be a scrimmage um I do believe they have a scrimmage with the Rams coming up but today wasn't it today was a joint practice so if you've ever seen any of the the practices from this time of year whether it's footage from Oxnard or if you've been hearing Frisco it's a lot of scenarios um and so in the press conference that Mike MC Mike McCarthy did earlier today um he said himself that it he wasn't going to use it as an opportunity to try out a lot of scheme things and I I believe so I was watching the footage from law Nation Sports um and so from what I saw that held true I didn't really see anything that was surprising we saw chuma edoga going in there and they get pulled as expected we saw awesome Richards um in my opinion mechanically some of the things that have always bugged me about the way he moves at his position um him being either way too much way too upright or tablet topping too easily still issues so on the o line uh Dak was constantly it felt like getting uh pressure from that side or whoever was behind and there was getting pressure from that side so that was predictable um some people were surprised by what they saw from Ezekiel Elliott um I was not uh like I said even before Ezekiel Elliott left um I said we hadn't seen a healthy Isel Elliott in years and then when it came it turned out that he was coming back I was like well this will be our first time in a while seeing a healthy Ezekiel Elliott and so seeing a healthy Ezekiel Elliott uh who's been going through a few weeks of training camp um him having those bursts and a couple of good runs it didn't surprise me seem to surprise some people in the comments and some people who commented later but I'm just like didn't surprise me um also they weren't doing full tackles on the running backs um but even with that being the case um Rico D got like a really good run from behind Tyler Smith I'm just like yeah these are these are solid Runners and if you open up a lane for them they're going to take it and they're going to run um so there were no like really interesting plays um nothing that really shocked me as far as like what I saw from the players um so yeah it was it was pretty standard in my opinion I'm trying to think if there's anything else um we got to see a little bit of the new C kickoff roll cook off um we got to see a little bit of the new kickoff roll um and so if you saw the depth chart that came out then you know um they've got Jaylen Cropper listed as one of the punt returners um so we got to see a little bit of that um so nothing surprising on that side I didn't get to see the defensive side from that from that stream now if you go to the Dallas convoys Channel on YouTube they do now have views from both sides of the field posted but they posted those while I was was setting up for this so I haven't watched them so tomorrow I might have um different takes for you or a different perspective once I have a chance to like actually go and watch good footage and watch it maybe more than once um for context it was a 2hour practice and I think each video that the Dallas Cowboys posted is like 20 minutes so even with that being the case like we're not going to see everything but one thing that's been consistent about my McCarthy since he's been with the Cowboys is he doesn't like the show a lot so the fact that we got 20 minutes on each side of the field is actually pretty good um Clement says I apologize in advance for my language but Jay Jones is an ass hat for his comments on the CD lamb contract extension oh boy saying that he isn't in a hurry to get it done you diabolical owner don't you know hold on I'm bring this up for everybody to read along don't you know that we have 30 days before the season opener at Cleveland you don't need to see any more leaves to leave uh when it comes to receivers to sign your number one R wide receiver get the job done and stop um yeah and I think anybody who saw that practice today would think the same thing we did see some good things from from Brandon Cooks um so it looks like you know he and Dak have been working on that connection and that work is paying off but um yeah nothing like what you would expect to see from CD lamb especially considering the fact that CD lamb has had gotten to the point um last season where he was lining up from all over you know in the slot he was lining up out wide he was coming out the back field so they don't really have anybody right now who can duplicate that and when it comes to the depth chart I mean no surprises there either honestly so last summer Mike McCarthy told us that he considered the depth chart to be a market tool um even with that being the case I would consider it to be pretty accurate so train Lance is still lit as qb3 I know there are some people who were expecting him to be qb2 there are some people who want TR Lance to be qb1 so but to that I say I have yet to hear anybody who's been at training camp say anything about his development that suggests that he's ready to take that job and so when people say they want that um despite all the outcry on social media from people who know better I don't think they really realize what it is that they're asking for um when it comes to the running back isil Elliott is uh listed as rb1 that is one of those things that I bet if you were to ask Mike McCarthy he would say that who rb1 and rb2 is insignificant and for him it's just more about the situation and so there's going to be different times where he calls up calls up these guys for different reasons and he just wants them to be ready and I think that's completely reasonable um I don't expect us to have like a brand new running identity I think they're probably um working on getting better at some of the things that they sucked at last season um namely runs in between the tackles that was like a really big problem and I could see them trying to improve in that area on the depth chart CD L is listed as wide receiver one Jaylen Brooks is listed as well they've got like three rows for wide receiver so um you've got cidi and Brandon Cooks and Jaylen Tolbert listed as first and then Brooks Turpin and Cropper listed a second and then um Billy Johnson floro and cam Johnson listed for the third team um left tackle you've got choga listed ahead of Tyler Tian so considering the emphasis that's always been on rookies earning their spot that didn't really surprise me have I seen anything from chuma edoga that would make me trust him more than Tyler gon no but also we know that Tyler gon came to this team with some things that he needed to work on in terms of footwork from what we've heard he's gotten a lot better but we have yet to see what he looks like doing like consistent repetitive reps the reason why I bring that up is because if you've ever competed if you've ever been an athlete one of the things that you know is that you might know perfect form for a lift for your sport whatever right but as you get tired that form might start to leave you so in the case of uh a left tackle let's say for example the footwork that people had an issue with with Tyler gon maybe if you ask him to do it once he can execute it but if he had to be on the field for a series things would start looking a little ugly after a few snaps you know we don't know um but the fact that he's in front of awesome Richards that sounds right so I think it could be a situation where no chuma is not perfect but Tyler is also not perfect and they're going to end up making a decision based on who's able to make the the most progress there you know and honestly Tyler gon just has so many natural advantages you know like we were talking earlier about like competitive advantages but because of his his size and athleticism he's got so many advantages in the end I can see him taking that spot um let's see is there anything else relevant the rest of the o line y'all have seen it and yeah no big deal there um so yeah nothing else significant um Sam Williams is on this step chart if that tells you anything as we know Sam is out for the season unfortunately um Trayvon digs is listed as CB1 um as well as Don Bland um Trayvon digs did not practice today so yeah definitely take a look at the videos that they have up on Dallas Cowboys YouTube um I do plan on going live again tomorrow so if I have anything to add I'll add it then um but tomorrow is fan Girl Friday so in addition to talking about the Cowboys I'm going to want to address the BS that's happening in the Eagles locker room and also these comparisons between um Caleb Williams of the Bears and CJ strout but tonight we're gonna keep going with the cowboy shout outs and call outs because I've got to call out Jerry Jones so for anyone who's um CL said I needed to vent um but uh for anyone who didn't see Jerry Jones' lack of urgency regarding CeeDee Lamb's contract negotiations it because you know you might have watched the the video of the practice today and then you know gone and eaten dinner or something I don't know but basically Jerry Jones was asked about the city lamb contract negotiations he said he had no urg related to the contract negotiations now CD lamb who does not tweet a lot uh saw a tweet with um the quote that Jerry Jones had and simply retweeted it and said um he quote tweeted it and said LOL and then michah Parsons retweeted that so naturally that looks enough like mess for the media to take it and run with it and that quickly create headlines out of it um Patrick noi Walker actually had a pretty good summary of what happened I'm going to see if I can bring it up on the screen for you guys so we can read along and we can all be on the same page about what happened and then I'm going to when when I thought I was going to go live last week I had actually pulled a clip um from something else Jerry Jones said about CD lamb that I thought I wasn't going to be able to use but it all seems to be connected so going to look at the suite and then we're going to look at that clip and then we're going to talk a little bit about the situation concerning Jerry Jones and CD lamb and Dak Prescott because I don't know if y'all hear it but my voice is starting to go but I think it'll last long enough for us to have this conversation and then I'll get out of here so let's see if we can bring out this tweet okay so he's posted even more since I saw this so we might have two tweets to look at where is the first one maybe he took it down I should have saved it in my favorites anyway we'll look at this one um I haven't looked at this one yet so we'll just look at it together share screen okay so it says um oh actually this is a quote from Steven Jones hold on I found the other one on my phone let me bring it up and see if it's still there and of course not whatever we'll just talk about this one um um So based on what I already told yall y'all have a general idea of what happened with uh Jerry Jones and CD's response as a matter of fact um if we go to CD's Twitter we can probably see the original quote so the original tweet was from John Macho that said Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on contract talks with CD lamb I don't have any urgency to get it done it's a picture not a video but that was it so CD lamb retweeted and said LOL and I won't click on all the retweets but Mah Parson was one of the people who retweeted that so fast forward uh Patrick noi Walker has posted this says stevenh Jones spoke to the Doomsday pod inside at the same time Jerry was speaking on the field so apparently all this happened at the same time is what I'm getting from this and he said uh 00 zero thought process about CI not being a d Cowboy and the idea of CI not being with the Cowboys is something people started to run with when CI was put on the do not report list but that had to do with the practice today and certain things that they had to report in order to practice against the Rams that wasn't like oh we're ramping up our um punishments against CD lamb for not showing up that was just like a um basically a a requirement that they that they had to report that it was it basically it didn't mean anything but I'm going to bring up this clip um because it was really Chris Johnson said is this on YouTube yes uh Chris Johnson if you go to um you can go to YouTube and search for [ __ ] Lov sports or you can go to [ __ ] Lov sports.com and I have basically a page there with links to everything and you can click on the the YouTube link there um also if you scroll down my Twitter because it looks like you're watching on Twitter you'll see the link to the YouTube you can watch there thanks for asking but um yeah I'm going to bring up this video from get up last week and it's got a video of Jerry Jones talking and then it was Dominique foxworth's response that I just thought was so perfect so let's check this out together better quarterback than Jordan love well out D for us is a uh uh the I get in trouble every time I make comparisons okay I do get in trouble and of course we saw a head-to-head match in U uh with Green Bay last week I mean last year uh we've all got that bur in our saddle I'm anxious for D to get a a chance to show he's the best with cowboy starl and you think he can do that without a new deal oh yes what that yes but don't don't that might imply that uh we're not going to do a new a new deal and that's just not the case those things change the one where he was talking about that but we'll play the one about so you want to talk about a picture being worth a thousand words we've not heard from Dominique yet so I'll give you the first crack at this Nick what what why are you making that face if um owner of the Cowboys was an elected position they will be calling for a replacement immediately Jerry Jones feels like he is talking in word circles that don't make any sense and it's a question that you normally don't hear GMS and owners be asked so it's like weird to try to evaluate it because I don't know what the right answer to that question is cuz no GM or team owner would ever be asked that question and would respond to it talking about birds and Saddles and whatever just pay that man his money and be quiet my so yeah so it was that last part that really got to me that just pay that man his money and be quiet because I felt like when it when it comes to this conversation about the contracts we hear so much back and forth about why it might be happening and what's going on with the salary cap and what the Joneses have had to deal with and and the dead money and it's like like at the end of the day though are the press conferences helping are the interviews about it helping have they done anything in any of their public statements about these negotiations that actually helps and so when he was like just pay that man his money and be quiet I was like yes yes that is the response that I've been looking for as a matter of fact y'all know how Mike McCarthy does like a theme for the season every year I feel like I feel like maybe this should be it cuz considering everything that's going on with CD and what's going to happen with Dak and what will probably happen with Micah I just would not blame Mike McCarthy at all if they came to him and they said Mike McCarthy what's the theme for the season we want to know and he just played this that man his money and be quiet oh wait it didn't play but yeah if he was just like yeah just pay that man his money and be quiet like H like how do you say that in Latin however you say that in Latin that's what the theme of this season needs to be just pay that man his money and be quiet why can I not pay that man his money and be quiet anyway whatever hold on maybe if I that is so weird well hopefully the next thing we'll play for you guys be quiet pay that man his money and be quiet y'all hear it y'all saying like it's playing on that side so yall just heard me click it like 5,000 times but yes I don't know why I can't hear it I don't know what's going on but yes that is going to be hilarious on the on the YouTube playback it's like how many times did she play that um but yeah sorry I can't hear it on my side I don't know what's going on I was trying to just play the audio and not the video and maybe I can hear videos and not the audio so my bad you guys but hopefully y'all got a kick out of that but yes that and Latin needs to be the theme for the season um but I'm going to bring up the video from um from what Jerry Jones said about CD lamb real quick as well since we're talking about the whole CD lamb situation because I can I can already tell that this is one of those things that's going to end up being a question of like oh is is there some sort of issue between Jerry Jones and CD lamb and as we've seen with the Philadelphia Eagles even if it's something that H they have to bring up this time next year if they have a reason to make a big deal out of this they absolutely will make a big deal out of this you know so let's see I think it's this one play you some Jerry Jones sound bites from yesterday we haven't played you this one yet it's kind of long in one of them and you're going to hear it right now he seems to take a not so subtle shot at his absent star receiver CD lamb listen what I do appreciate uh is dak's here going and getting with it playing practicing okay and U uh some of these guys are and so that shows you dedication D and uh that U that's a big deal uh at his spot um he's the best leader I've ever seen so he's talking about Dak but what uh what swagu what RC and Foxy we so real quick exasperated swagu is like the mascot for the Cowboys fan base right now been all of our time as players trying not to separate a locker room we spend as these two guys were leaders on their team I was a leader on the team with the Cowboys you it from your own people it be your own people man this is the quickest way to create separation and a real in the locker room and it's just he just keep talking man he he keep he's addicted to talking and saying the wrong things and by the way all right so I disagree that it would do anything to the locker room but I do agree that Jerry Jones is addicted to talking I know we talking about uh CD lamb and I'mma D is still making $55 million this year okay CD lamb is making basically league minimum compared to what he's done on the field and what he's seen these receivers get I'm sorry guys like bro this is I I swear bro we this is the freaking Twilight Zone every single year with this dude man I hadn't thought of it that way but it's a really interesting point RC what do you think well one we do not know that Jerry is referring to CD CD lamb could Jerry just be saying nice things about Dak Prescott I love that Dak is here and that Dak is working now I think when you look at I think that's pretty much the bulk of it but yeah so I play that to point out when the media was like okay there's an issue between CD lamb and Jerry Jones they weren't just talking about what happened today I think a lot of them were connecting back to the situation because the clip that I just played you was from last week you know so it's definitely one of those things that it's it's turning into a little bit of a pattern where Jerry is like making these kind of like not exactly the most glowing comments but nothing so bad that it seems to be like blatantly an attack but either way it's not helpful and I'm G just trust that this plays again but I just really need for Jerry Jones to pay that man his money and be quiet like that's it like that's that's all that needs to be said that's all that he needs to hear but one thing that I want people to remember when it comes to these conversations surrounding the contract talks is that while yes there are issues with the Joneses and how they've handled the salary cap and honestly I'm still doing my own investigation to like what's happened because while yes you know we've talked about the dead money that's creating an issue or the the the cap hit of some players that's creating an issue so you know namely um I think the two names that are brought up the most are Zack Martin and Demarcus Lawrence right but I'm just like it's got to be more than that that's causing these issues that Jerry Jones keeps talking about right so I mean if anybody has the answers to that question as to like what exactly is going on with the cowboy salary cap to where all of a sudden they're just claiming that it's it's just so hard to make space like let me know I'm I'm super super curious Ben says it's stuck in his head it's stuck in my head too Ben like every time I see Jerry Jones now all I think is just pay the man his money and be quiet I don't want to hear nothing else from you just pay the man his money and be quiet and that goes for cidi Dak Micah Osa there's a whole lot of people who are coming up like not this season but next season Cooper Rush is going to be called into question and I wouldn't be surprised if some team tries to um make Cooper their qb1 um but that's a different conversation for a different day but I wanted to throw out um another conversation that happened on first take I don't know you might hear first take and be like oh God we don't want to hear it but Stephen A Smith was absent this day um it was Kimberly Martin um Molly carum and Courtney Cronin and they all basically ganged up on Mad Dog in defense of Dak Prescott so this is another one I'm not going to play the entire thing but there were some parts of it that I wanted to respond to and the reason why I wanted to play this is because I think a lot of the points that they're making about Dak do also apply to CD and it also points to why you can't really lend a lot of credibility to some of the things that you hear circulating in the rumor mill these days we have not whether you want and all these quarterbacks since Aman you want to point at Dak and say he hasn't gotten the job done they haven't been getting the job done since since the mid90s so whose fault is that go ahead big I get it but the guy who's who have not been getting it done we're not making $50 million a year Mad Dog people salary cap League you have if you're going to pay the quarterback that amount of money you have to win I love what Jeff dington said if I was the owner of the Cowboys I do the same exact thing n he's going to play for his supper in 20 he's he's been awful in playoff games you are a Cowboy quarterback and you're making that kind of money you got to win the postseason he has not won in the postseason and he has not played well in the postseason and if I'm Jerry Jones I'm doing the same exact thing let him play for you know who was awful in the postseason so one thing I want to clarify this idea of Dak Prescott playing for a supper has been thrown out a lot um and that could be true theoretically Jerry Jones could be saying I want to see what you do this season before I pay you but also I think even if Jerry Jones did make an offer or Stephen um didn't make an offer which it was either last week or a couple of weeks ago I think they said they did present Dak with an offer I don't blame Dak for not taking it because he has the option of reaching unrestricted free agency which and I think they mention it in this clip but it's been a really long time since a top 10 quarterback has reached unrestricted free ageny and Dak also recently made a comment about how his negotiations aren't just for him but there's a certain sense of responsibility that he has to other quarterbacks who play for the NFL which suggests that if there's something that he can do to basically impact the market in a beneficial way for other quarterbacks he's probably going to do it and allowing himself to go into unrestricted free agent status is one of those things because it would let everyone see what the market is like for a quarterback of his caliber which is something that people haven't been able to see in like in a long time got paid before this last postseason that was Lamar Jackson well I would say something about him that doesn't count it's not the way it works in the NFL where Court where you're telling a quarterback show me before I buy show me before I pay you Kurt Cousins changed that narrative 2018 when he signed a fully guaranteed contract with the Minnesota Vikings how many playoff games had he been in at that point one how many wins did he have zero look at the list of top quarterbacks right now you've got Trevor Lawrence one playoff win highest paid quarterback on an average annual about Justin talk about Justin Herber he's on my list too zero playoff wins along with Tua zero playoff win in there too you don't need like that's just not the way it works you have to be like the best quarterback in order to get paid otherwise Patrick Mahomes would be at the top of that list every single year Dex proven his value to the Dallas Cowboys again and again and again yeah take a look at who got paid Baker Mayfield Baker Mayfield's on there look at that look at that now a couple things Lawrence has played two playoff games what has St played about seven or eight okay now that's a big difference we're gonna Jordan love played two playoff games and beat Prescott head forhead how many playoff games has Dak Prescott played does he get credit for getting them to the playoffs and with that team in that division with the Giants in Washington absolutely not no way that division has been Terri forever name me the playoff game in a big spot where you said wow look at D Prescott he played like a Hall of Fame quarterback playoff G me the game but that's literally that list up there is proof of what Courtney is saying it's all those guys Trevor Lawrence we no Trevor Lawrence is skating by no smoke his way I age with that despite being a top pick but you can make the argument that Trevor Lawrence has another ceiling to reach where same thing with love and and forget GF golf's earned it Go's been to a Super Bowl on a champ ship game and they should have beaten San Francisco if Campbell kicked the field goal Prescott has been the quarterback for the Cowboys what six seven years now mhm where has there been a scenario where at the end of the day you said ah I got my quarterback so what about the roster around they don't go out and spend money in free agency they draft and develop like a Super Bowl caliber team but that's on them they don't go and put pieces this the worst team right now than it was a year ago where's the Run game where's the offensive line you're going going to pin that all on Dak Prescott he was a runner up for the MVP last year three-time pro bowler number one scoring offense last season number two in point differential you're just going to like say oh that Stu doesn't matter because it happened during the regular season so I was really glad that she brought that up because it it is ironic to me that so many people point to Dak shortcomings and I'm just like yet he played well enough to be a runner up in the MVP conversation like how does that happen like only one of those things can be true either he's not worth it or he's damn near MVP status like which one you know we shouldn't pay him and Courtney when the chips are in the middle of the table when the chips are in the middle of when he was playing a he was playing in a Wild Card round when the chips were in the middle of the table how'd he play he threw a pick six last year and his defense gave up four two pick Sixers he threw two pick sixes in a playoff game he was there to help the Cowboys did he do his part trying to cont he there two years ago against San Francisco in a championship game was he out played by was he the one who drew up the play at the final moment of the game that had Ezekiel Elliott snapping him the ball we're going to put that on him he didn't even know the rule neither did his yeah neither did his head why do you think he's on the we can kill mfee all day I have no problem with that the quarterback did not know the rule about making sure the Umpire touch the ball he's the quarterback making 50 mil a year and he didn't know the rules M I'm with you madg I'm with you and I get it as far as the playoff success and not being clutch right in the biggest moments he's not playing as well as great regular season quarterback but what is your other option where are these other quarterbacks who are they what's the game plan because here there's no one else are you going to get's Point good organizations do not wait until they're in this situation where they have their Star Quarterback their star wide receiver and their star defens player all like hey you need to pay me teams very good teams well-run teams will get ahead of this they will forecast and so everything that she's saying right now is part of what I was saying applies to not only D which is who this conversation is about but also CD and also Micah if we're being honest you know when we're talking about um you know the teams that have won championships recently one of the phrases that comes up all the time and I'm sorry I feel like I'm getting more and more congested by the minute but one of the phrases that comes up all the time is that um teams win games organizations win championships you know and the handling of this situation could be considered a failing by the organization but it seems like a lot of people keep trying to make excuses or make reasons why the organization should be doing what it's doing why they shouldn't pay daak why you know they why it makes sense for CD lamb to be waiting there are way fewer people who are like actually making that excuse for CD I will be honest a lot more people seem to be like what is going on what are you doing but that reasoning of like who else are you going to get I feel like that definitely applies in this situation with CD because even though it's not talked about as often but it's like what are their options besides signing CD like if if Jerry Jones really doesn't have a of urgency what is his plan like why don't you like you should you should want him there at Camp you should want him back with the team as soon as possible you should not want the situation to keep getting dragged out because every time more leaves fall which is what he keeps saying waiting for more leaves to fall every time more leaves fall his price goes up because he's one of the best and that's not going to change you know so when she said that good organizations don't get to this point and my phone's telling me it's almost time ago it's like uh 20% um but when she's saying that good organizations don't get to this point um I'm inclined to agree and I'm not saying that the Cowboys are a ter terrible organization there are so many good things about the way the Cowboys are run but this issue with the salary cap and player contracts is a situation that they seem to find themselves in repeatedly and when Jerry Jones was asked recently why he didn't have a general manager the only answer that he gave was that well how we're doing it is how I'm comfortable doing it and I think that's just not a good enough response for a fan base that has been so supportive to make your organization the most valuable sports franchise in the world they want to hear something else and say oh you know what we know that the market is going to keep going up so before it go goes up to a point where we're not trying to pay let's get some of these contracts taken care of so we now have them on the cheap so we look really smart in a couple years when the market goes up we saw the wide receivers Market CD lamb still looking for a deal Dak no other team when you look at Buffalo when you look at the Chiefs when when even even the Jets were like hey this is our guy and Aaron Rogers looks like a discount right based on what he's getting paid right now so when you look at the Cowboys it's like if this is if this is your franchise guy then you lock him up no other team no other team functions like this so when you put it all on Deck I'm looking at ownership I'm looking at the guy who kept Jason Garrett for 10 years when we're doing the eight and eight and we're doing the N9 and seven and where are we going and if you don't like Mike McCarthy who hired him after having a sleepover that was Jerry Jones there blame to go around with the Cowboys I don't disagree with you about that Jones has done a horrendous job he's never had a big head coach he had parcel's that one run because he wanted to get that Stadium built and he needed parcel's to give them credit cility with the franchise that's the only time Dave Campo Jason McCarthy uh B Wade Phillips you're a th% correct so Jones does digging in the vault digging in the vault encyclopedia right there yeah there it is he is not he doesn't go on scath I'm with you but to sit there and say that that he could have had bich as his head coach and he did a terrible job at that we agree no argument but to sit there and tell me that Dak Prescott what is he two and six in a postseason or what two and five two and six and he has not been distinguishable in the postseason at all and that's what you get paid this what I think the move should be I think the Dallas Cowboy should draft shador Sanders quarterback with down in Texas let's get shador and Dion with the Dallas Cowboys they're going to stay right in the headlines and have Dak come on to New York cityes make a ton of money even if he doesn't win games so you're down on Daniel Jones about to say I thought Daniel Jones was your guy Daniel Jones was all of a sudden all of a sudden we want Dak to be our quarterback I would like Dak as my quarterback absolutely you know it's funny as Daniel has has Dak ever played a game in a post all right and we'll end that there I just thought it was funny that Molly To the people who believe the Dallas Cowboys should draft Shedeur Sanders and let go of Dak Prescott started off that point about uh drafting [ __ ] Sanders like she really had appointment she's like yeah and then Dak can come play for my Giants um so you have to be careful with some of these people throwing out their opinions and I must say I've been hearing this whole idea of drafting shador Sanders pick up a lot of traffic and to the people who are not like Molly because you know Molly's just like yes bring me that Prescott and y'all can have shadur but there are some people who are who call themselves Cowboys fans and are really like yeah the Cowboys should should drive shador I think I think think y'all are nostalgic and y'all are looking forward to the possibility of um Prime being associated with the Cowboys again and y'all are not paying attention to who shador Sanders actually is because don't get me wrong he's got a lot of potential as a quarterback but I I forgot who it was recently I think it was Stephen who said that they're not rebuilding um if shador Sanders somehow becomes your qb1 you're definitely rebuilding because as many skills as shadur has he is not ready to hop into an NFL offense and be anybody's qb1 I think with a little bit of time and development he could get there but like the same people who say that are the people who are like who have these fantasies about trands and I don't know like you see a few highlights and you think that's who that quarterback is going to be for 60 minutes or something I don't know I don't get it but like don't buy into that hype don't don't don't feel that fire it's it's not going to be a thing um but anyway like I said uh my my voice is starting to go I don't know if you can hear it but it's like every now and then I get the urge to talk with my normal voice and I get like just to the edge of it and then my throat is like uhuh uhuh no we're not doing that so um I do want to preserve what little voice we have so if you have any questions or if you have any final questions or comments Now's the Time to post them and I'll respond um and then I need to get off here in a few minutes because I think I think I've pushed past my limits like all night when it comes to what my voice can handle tonight uh at least I am feeling a Pursue your goals, but remember to take care of yourself little bit better I will say that like um and I'll say this while you know I give y'all a chance to post questions like I'm so happy about this move but I was an originally planning to move out of my old apartment in November and I wasn't even sure that I would be coming here it was it was the goal it was the plan but I wasn't sure you know um and so I pushed that timeline ahead by a lot which now that I think back on the whole situation and everything that I did to be able to financially support the move and everything I did to be able to squeeze it into my schedule um it was a lot and I think at the time I didn't acknowledge it I tried to kind of just like keep it moving like like everything was normal and stay as close to my normal habits and my normal schedule and that was a mistake so I say this is why I say this um I I talk a lot about manifestation and like really going after your goals and I do believe all those things are real I think manifestation is real I think when you have a big goal you should do everything in your power to try to reach it but when you are doing something out of the ordinary when you are doing something that takes an extraordinary amount of effort when you're doing something that calls you to perform above and beyond with the typical person does you have to acknowledge your own Humanity which means yes you may be able to push yourself to do those things but you also have to remember to take care of yourself to balance it out and unfortunately I didn't do that I pushed and I kept pushing as a matter of fact I had planned to be a training camp right now um and you know even even people I told that I was trying to go they're like you just moved and now you're going to try to take a multi-day trip to California that's a lot like I had multiple people tell me that was a lot and I was like no no no I can do it um and in the effort to try to get everything together I'm still not unpacked here y'all but in the effort to try to get everything together that's when I got sick and I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that like I wasn't sleeping enough I was working too much too hard stressing about how to make everything work and then like I always say when you don't sit down life will sit you down and um had everything gone according to plann I would have been an ox nerd on Tuesday and I would would be leaving tomorrow after their practice in Oxford but it was like things weren't coming together all the way and then I got sick and so the day I got sick just so happened to be the last day that I could cancel the whole package and get a refund and so I was like just in case this is not like an illness that's like two days I'm going to go ahead and cancel it and look at me I'm still here still sick um but yeah I probably shouldn't have pushed myself that hard in the first place I did not rest I did not recover like I needed to and so I say this not because I want yall to feel sorry for me but because I know a lot of y'all who are my friends who are watching this um you're pushing hard towards Big goals as well you're trying to make things happen you're trying to do things that are outside of the ordinary that that quote unquote average person doesn't do and so I just want to remind you that like while you're out out there kicking ass doing your thing um getting the views getting the follows getting the money um building your brand every now and then you got to take a break take care of yourself have fun you know make sure you're living a fulfilled life outside of the thing that you're trying to build or accomplish like those things are important too for multiple facets of your health I want to see you win and I want to see you win and be healthy and strong and have a fulfilling and happy life on you're winning so um yeah I think that's it for my boys so hopefully yall enjoyed this episode um like I said tomorrow we're going to dig into this whole situation with um the news that came out about the strained relationship between Nick serani and Jaylen Herz we're going to talk about Caleb Williams and the comparisons between him and um CJ stra if there's any new information either about this NFL lawsuit or about um the Dak Prescott litigation we'll talk about that so uh yeah just keep those notifications on I've got clients in the morning and then after that we'll uh see what time I'm able to go live so thank you to everybody who showed up who's watching on YouTube on Facebook on Twitter thank you for everybody who's been active in the chat thank you for everybody who reached out with your well wishes yes yes I am getting better um thank you to everybody who's been showing your support even during the break and encourag me to get back in front of the camera and get back into this so that being said I'm going call it a night this has been another episode of [ __ ] love sports I your host Jas Mon and I'm out
