now you know last time we did the interview you had just beaten your murder case [ __ ] right I remember listening to an interview you did recently and you said one of the big mistakes you made was after you shot the guy and the police showed up you started talking to the police without lawyer right that was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life yeah when I was listening to you say it I was like godamn that that sounds like a like a big mistake right there especially something that serious right and at the point that you know it's not like you're some Street kid with no education like you've been all around the world and you you know and you have money and stuff like that why not say I want to have my lawyer here before talking um that's that's just I was [ __ ] as a [ __ ] at the time I asked myself that every day why the [ __ ] I think the [ __ ] happened so fast it's just my [ __ ] mind didn't say stop don't tell them [ __ ] just don't say [ __ ] right because I know I wasn't in the wrong so I'm like [ __ ] I'm fa to it's all on camera anyway you f to see it [ __ ] so I'm like I'm just going to tell you what happened [ __ ] this what happened and this what this what I did right but the problem was was that when you gave the original statement and then they took you to the precinct and had you give another statement they said the statements weren't exactly lining up yeah because one statement was given on the scene the other statement was given at [ __ ] 3:00 or 4: a.m. and when you hear me talking I'm like sleepy as [ __ ] like you sound like I'm talking to a sleep person bro like so I it probably was a couple of words that was different and they used that [ __ ] to the best that they could use it do you think that when they question you the first time if you would have said I'm not saying anything until my lawyers here do you think that you would have not been charged hell no they still would have charged me they still would have charg because when I got to the interrogation room they was interrogating me and I got to the point where I said I'm done talking and that's when they said okay we charging you a murder wow so they was going to do it all the whole time bro it's Hurricane Chris in a small City ain't number 180,000 people you got these people trying to run for whatever they trying to run for it was it was right around the time where the male the males was running so it was about to be election time for that it was Das that was running for district attorney at this time it was a lot going on and they wasn't F to let that [ __ ] go I got arrested a pun shop owner got arrested for shooting somebody and walked out of the pwn shop and wring their toolbx on the back of their pickup truck he popped him and got the same amount of bun that I got 500,000 sitting on his own property and somebody threatening him wow they was arresting everybody they could arrest around the time I got arrested bro now when the trial started you actually took the stand yeah and I've used this story I seen you in w 100 talk about this yeah I I've brought this up multiple times because when people talk about trials especially serious trials like murder trials and shooting trials everyone was like you you should never take the stand you're not required to take the stand you're not supposed to prove your innocence you're just supposed to you know prove Reasonable Doubt and I'm like look Hurricane Chris had a murder trial and he said he didn't care what his lawyer told him he was going to take the stand and defend himself because his life was on the line I don't trust a lawyer that much bro yeah I don't trust a lawyer that much I don't trust nobody to speak for me to that extent if the money is to a certain level I want to be on phone hearing the conversation as well if it's a certain type of check that's being talked about I ain't trusting like that N Hell n hell no hell no n and obviously it worked out because you were found not guilty right right right a lawyer could be a good lawyer my lawyer is a good lawyer Alex Washington is the best but when it come to discharge care and life now [ __ ] that I need to say what I got to say bro I'm not I really got this you really can sit the [ __ ] down did your lawyer tell you not take the stand um I know you did what you did but did he tell you not to take the St I don't remember him telling me not to take the St okay fair enough I don't remember him telling me that do you think you would have been found guilty if you didn't take the stamp nope nope NOP the person they put on the stand as they witness destroyed the help it like it it all he agreed with everything I said they didn't have a case from the beginning they did this [ __ ] because they just wanted to jump out in the middle of the street and get all this promotion off of this [ __ ] bro like they wasn't supposed to do this [ __ ] I had somebody from the District Attorney office talking to my lawyer um you know and and it you can tell that it wasn't no trying to understand like they wasn't trying to they wasn't trying to see the right in me or the good in me like they was like [ __ ] that tell them take 40 years and we'll stop right now 40 years my lawyer say who going to take a 40-year plea deal who the [ __ ] going to take 40 years but you know in Louisiana this [ __ ] carried life and our life Ain 25 life how old you were you at the time I was [ __ ] what 32 so okay get out of 72 or do life what's the difference yeah get out of 71 or do life what's the difference you know what I'm saying there is no difference yeah no it ain't it's not it ain't a difference game over
