Travis Dermott Sums Up Coyotes' 4-1 Defeat to the Flyers

who goes to them but um it's just a learning experience for us you know play hard games like that the stretch have to learn um you know the sticking games that we're not creating much offensive just Bear Down defensively and then kind of let that offensive stuff kind of happen and uh stick to stick to our game plan and not kind of start it's natural it's tough to battle is yeah for sure I mean it's it's tough to stay in a 61 when when you know you feel like you're battling for your offensive opportunity and they were coming out of on their side so they're putting Pucks in running us hard through our boards so um you know it was a game we really had to break profession and try to wear them down in their zone so of them just succeed what do feel like for you trying to make your way back full speed yeah um you know we we've been playing so well um you know it's it's uh it's definitely comforting to see as uh you know you want to you want to help your team every night but through an injury like I had um you know wasn't able to so being able to see the team kind of come together as we did um you know a couple call UPS we had everyone was playing great and really really working in unison um where you know you want to come back and really just add to that and kind of help the boys keep going on what they're what they're working on what what we're able to do the last uh couple weeks here um but you know uh obviously been pan as we wanted it to tonight but like I said these are the games that we're going to have to get comfortable being comfortable buried the lead here what's the last 24 to 36 hours of your life been like can you give us a timeline of yesterday yeah uh baby came out 7 a.m. uh was at the rank at 9:00 a.m. for practice um uh yeah I spent the day with uh with my family after while lucky if my dad's down here to help us out um mother-in-law comes in a couple days while we're on the road so um got lots of help on that end um yeah I'm a little boy now so it's uh life changing pretty quick um it's going to be tough going on the road now but uh you know be fine how hard is it to separate life from that at this moment you got to go back on the ice get a team thr up you're coming off an injury that's it's a juggling act isn't it I kind of like it you know I've been playing hockey my whole life so when I got other stuff going on um it's kind of nice to kind of not have to think about hockey too much have other stuff on my mind and then just kind of show up and do what I've done so um I could see how from the outside it' be seemed kind of hard to flip it on like that but it's it's just second nature at this point so um great being back with the guys Good Feeling um hopefully we can get back in my side of things here world's a better place congrats Travis thanks appreciate Travis just one for me big trip out here coming up what do you do to reset and get ready for Boston yeah I think uh you know as a team we got to just look back at what's worked for us the past couple weeks here um and just try to take those those POs POS onto the road um you know it's it's going to be fun getting back on the road with the guys um you know spend some time with each other um and you know try to try to really just get things on the positive side again um it's it's fun to kind of get on the road and get uh get some personal time just with the guys away from the families um feel like we haven't had that for a bit especially myself so it's going to be a good one don't tell that to Mommy though way never never have fun on the road thanks
