Tony Jones follows through on car wash promise after backing Magpies | Today Show Australia

ever looked a very good friend of ours is kindly volunteering his time after making this promise on air 50 whether they make it TJ well if they don't I will wash windows on punt Road for two hours that's how confident we we we've got that record I'm happy if if Collingwood do not make the finals I will be there with my squeegee and bucket on punt Road and car window and for free oh dear yes our very own TJ Tony Jones made that promise live on air and now he has it come good TJ but you're not on punt Road mate you're in cerg what's going on well it is illegal to actually as it turns out to do car windows on punt road so for years I've been giving money to the people doing the car windows on road been contributing to illegal activities so here we are but this is this is a much better result a negative into a positive so that's right as you can see on the sign here my room my room which is uh the children's cancer charity and does magnificent things to raise money just to make the lives of those children just a little more comfortable as they go through their treatment and the like uh the children and their fam so everything raised today be a gold coin donation or even some of the folding stuff might just go toward WS in fact it will go toward WS uh every % of it will go to the Children's Cancer charity which is my room so that's the upside to it the uh the downside is that I'm here for 2 hours on I'll tell you the other interesting thing is now for those in Melbourne wanting to know where exactly it is we're directly opposite the old Pentridge prison so we should get plenty of Carlton supporters coming along here today which you would have anyway TJ just R I re out there he exactly TJ while we've got you one of the Footy Show regulars Kane KS has defected don't you dare
