have a little appointment with lar tomorrow so we are going to do this a little bit early today so we are coming at you you on Tuesday so I'm excited happy to see you how is everybody all Shante baby so today we are at Crispy Cream because Crispy Cream a couple weeks ago they launched a new dut and their new doughnut is a collaboration that they have done with Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper and crispy K cream have joined together to do uh a new doughnut and their new doughnut is let me tell you what it is their new doughnut is the Dr Pepper kickoff doughnut for football season which I am very excited football season comes out this Thursday this coming Thursday Dr Pepper frosting burgundy sprinkles and a blend of white chocolate on the logo and guess what we are going to We were supposed to have a special guest to join us on this beautiful Tuesday I have no idea where he is no idea it was supposed to be uh our old our old friend I have no idea I have no idea what's going on so I guess we're going to just have to whoa so sorry I'm oh ladies and gentlemen sorry I'm late I slept through my alarm oh couldn't find my keys traffic instruction all but here is oh get closer here let's take hey everybody this is nice oh thank you I like that how are you doing doing great sir how are you nice good to see you we were just uh just talking about doing a little food review on Dr Pepper Dr Pepper oh we're doing a we're doing the uh Dr Pepper Food review today let's do it are you excited my friend are you excited I I am excited to see you of all collaborations yeah all collaborations up here because it's the kickoff of NFL season are you excited for NFL season lean uh that's a good question I don't really watchall very much but I I cannot wait I'm very excited for I do like the idea of people come together though and having fun I'm very excited for my Denver Broncos because of Bon next CU you know bonck was the quarterback for Oregon oh yes yeah and so he's going to be on Jordan I seems like it has been forever since you and I have done a food review it has I think was it Dolly Parton was last time I saw you yeah Dolly bur it so this is guys this is the same Crispy Cream that we were at liel LEL down and I were at what is this Barbie they have Barbie there's a sign right up here guys that is for Barbie dream Donuts Barbie came out like 2 years ago what's this about Barbie limited time Fit for Your Dream House 65th anniversary wow what also got pumpkin yeah that's on my list of things to get also the pumpkin right okay uh hi uh I'm not can we get all the back Peppers yeah can we get I'm just thinking we'll get two of them can we get two Dr Pepper kickoff Donuts actually don't what did they just start you don't have the Dr Pepper kickoff Donuts no we actually don't have it now at the moment didn't that just start like a week ago Barbie on if you want to try the Barbie one Barbie you don't that's our seasonal one right now you you don't have the Dr Pepper at this moment are you are you going to have them no we're not going to have them today today or ever is it is it over yeah I believe it yesterday was the last day actually inconceivable how long did that last just a couple weeks yeah what few weeks that's horor [ __ ] um back to square one well yeah cuz it's two weeks now it's Barbie one yeah so now we're stuck with Barbie's dream house there's like four different kinds you got the Barbie pink one Barbie cream okay well guys I am listen guys I am really sorry I'm not prepared for Barbie I didn't know this I came with uh do you have the I did I did have the pumpkin spice cake I did have the docker pepper and I did have the but do you have the the do you have the Oregon the buttercream Oregon which one do you have the buttercream Oregon the buttercream Oregon yeah the or the Oregon doughnut that's buttercream yeah we got a cream but we don't call it or but well on the on the website there's an there's an Oregon Ducks doughnut that's buttercream do you have that one that was part of the Dr Pepper collectioned yesterday oh that was part of the I've given up I've given up I've given up on CHR Crispy Cream guys I all right can we have uh can we have uh two of the um or can we have four of the pumpkin spice cake all right and uh uh I four of the uh Barbie's dreamhouse Barbie's dreamhouse or or two of the Barbie Dreamhouse Donuts you two of them yeah two of the Barbie Dreamhouse Donuts the whatever cream filled ones you have yeah so you want two the Barbie ones uh the the Barbie cream yeah yes please the one has a heart on top right well do do you have one that has the dream house on them oh yeah we got those yeah yes please the are they cream filled Dream House on uh there are a cre but better butter cream inside okay yeah I'll I'll have those please two of those so you want to the dream house and then do you want the all the on too or no yeah I want two of the dream house please and then just two of the two of the pumpkin spice and then two of the Dreamhouse okay so uh I got four pumpkins so you you don't want the four pumpkin no I just I I just want two pumpkin spice please and then two of the dream house okay perfect do you want a hot chocolate a small one wash it in and then two small hot chocolates please two small hot chocolate any Whi cream on it yeah whipped cream on both of them plays perfect so I got two small hot chocolate two pumpkin and two dream yeah all right perfect I see the window okay thank you wow guys I am two weeks listen guys I am really sorry I I hope that I didn't come across like a horse's ass there and I think I did maybe but that's a little frustrating 2 weeks on a special I mean and also that guy was very that was very confusing guys I think I'm done with Crispy Cream I mean the dolly thing was ridiculously sweet and if if they're going to put something out like this now we have Barbie and it's going to only be for 2 weeks it's very disappointing it just it just is it's disappointing two weeks for the Dr Pepper I mean isn't it usually like Burger King has stuff for like at least a month like a month of whatever that that's that's discouraging and then the guy said everybody wanted well yeah yeah everybody everybody gets the TR I guess we I guess you don't disappointed I I am I am disappointed in that because I did a lot of I know I mean September just kicked off but I'm not quite ready to jumping the I mean football season hasn't even started yet well that's what's frustrating is it was advertised as football season this is this is this is the week of football season and it's a kickoff donut and it's already gone it's a kickoff donut I mean that's it's it was they had the the Oregon the Oregon Ducks donut that's part that was part of the Dr Pepper collection and then the Dr Pepper kickoff kickoff donut and this is this is the week of this is the kickoff before the kickoff NFL kickoff season the kickoff before the kickoffs already ended jeez well shoot I know I'm excited for fall I'm not ready to say summer I'm sorry Jordan so I know was disappoint you but anyway it's okay it's okay thank you thank you so well I am excited for fall I am excited yeah boy I'll tell you we are we are having fall weather here in Portland Oregon right now feels like it I know allegedly it's supposed to be 102 days I'm like really doesn't look like it but we'll see I'm not really of summer yet we happy happy day after Labor Day every everybody yesterday yesterday was Labor Day um me personally I don't feel feel like it ever seems like Labor Day Without Jerry Lewis it doesn't for me I'm I'm old enough that every Labor Day for me is seems to be Jerry Lewis lady I am do you remember that song Rock Me Jerry Lewis Jerry Lewis Jerry Lewis Jerry Lewis Jerry Lewis Jerry Lewis it not a hand I'm glad we went through the drive drive-thru cuz nobody would believe this if we didn't do this oh I know 1726 Jesus 7 for this for four duts is $17 four duts is $17 plus the two hot chocolates our prices went up about a month ago need your receipt yeah I know any napkins yeah I got this private theater a lot and on their popcorn quality never goes up though no we'll have the hot chocolates out in a second thank you that seems a a a bit High to me does that seem a bit High to you four donuts and two hot chocol 17 Donuts four that should be less than 10 bucks so we are we are at Crispy Cream ladies and gentlemen for four Donuts right and two hot chocolates is $17.26 it wouldn't even feed a family of four no you're still missing chocolates 20 bucks for a family four to come to cre for a snack that's ridiculous and we are talking small hot chocolates here we're not even talking large hot chocolates here thank you so nice day thank you yeah so be we not having Dr Pepper what is that my outside voice that's disappointing cuz I wanted to I was very genuinely curious what a Dr Pepper don't it tastes like well of course now we got to set up for Barbie's Dreamhouse Barbie there is sure think it there hot chocolate all right well that's all right we're still going to have a good review everybody it's going to be awesome get her on all right not bad not bad C like last time the hot chocolate's not the best hot chocolate in the world but oh really well cheers let's try this cheers did they put whipped cream on it oh they did let me see oh they did again small small hot chocolate five bucks no well let me see how much was this and you you know what's crazy is that you guys know that I don't talk a lot about prices right everything is just astronomical everything is just astronomical I mean the the hot chocolates were 5.98 what were the donuts here 5.98 here you want to go over the prices 5.98 small hot chocolate Barbie 379 for a Barbie Dreamhouse donut that better be the best B Jesus okay this is first of all let me tell you a little something napkin there we are let's go over the quality of the napkins here these are this is an average an average napkin it's okay I've kind of gotten into like critiquing napkins at places Jordan oh sometimes you know what I mean some of them are I didn't explain it like they don't crinkle good at all like they're really rough this is um yeah I I don't mind this this style but there's some that are really rough this hot chocolate is obviously made with water this is not a milk-based hot chocolate as far as creaminess goes um it is yeah it's it's water-based tastes instant the the whipped cream the whipped cream is nice yeah it's not bad the whipped cream is good the whipped cream is the best part of it um but it does taste it does taste like a very thin like a very a very thin hot chocolate don't you think mhm it's not terrible but it's not the best yeah okay let's um oh I wanted to talk to you about something yes I wanted to talk to you about uh Halloween this is Halloween this is Halloween Halloween Halloween jack SK one of my favorite movies yeah I want to do I want us I want you and I for us to do like a Halloween special like a food review so let's talk about maybe like a Halloween costume that we should think think cou costume like ketchup and mustard yeah so Jordan is 62 right jelly Jordan's 6'2 what's your weight now one are you what are you 1 170 170 yeah okay well I'm 51030 so we're we're on the lighter side we're on the lighter side but so we'll use your height Advantage right cuz 510 62 almost 63 wait you want you want me to be Darth Vader and you Yoda bastard you you bastard no uh what would be good think it's I I was you know what I was thinking I was thinking like maybe like some options that Jordan and I could go as way and G way and G we could do that party time party time we could do that we could do Wayne and G absolutely we could do uh you know what all right I'll stop I'll stop you know what you know what came to mind for me uh just to make it extra weird as possible sunny and share you could be share and I could be sunny what do you think of that filling fill in the mustache shave shave this off that would be outrageous wouldn't it um we could do um Michelle and Obama you could be Michelle I could be Obama I could be like uh I could be like I could be like Michelle you are not going to do that again you could be like and rip a phone book again you know you could be Melania I could be Trump there you go you know keeping with the presidential theme um I still I I guys I still I I just I I I don't know I am sorry I don't I am trying not to be negative but I am just really overwhelmed by the fact that we had gotten four donuts and um two hot chocolates and it was 17 1726 I mean so Jordan let's try I am curious to try a a dream house you want to try let's try that last all right let's try our only thing that was on our new list of things to of options to try here were are um there you go with that I will say I'm excited for fall stuff yeah I am excited for fall fan of pumpkin spice lattes yeah they had that they had pumpkin spice latte here but yeah they already kicking that stuff off in August I was like nope I'm I'm surprised they I'm surprised they even have pumpkin spice latte here at Crispy Cream All right so what do we got we got a pumpkin spice um I can't believe they even still have pumpkin spice I'm surprised they didn't kick this off here so pumpkin spice there should be a Christmas re by now crispy moves yeah also another place we need to go out and review is Joe's Don Joe's Donut Joe's Donuts is an old school donut place here in Sandy Oregon which is a beautiful little it used to be a little small town but now it's kind of grown a little bit but it's still small but they have a Joe's Donut their old school doughnut place we need went this summer delicious yeah it is we should definely check it out yeah absolutely all right we're going to check these out right now we're checking out we're checking out the old um pumpkin spice dut from Crispy Cream let's indulge say it Jordan let's indulge indulge indulge baby [Music] yeah definitely glazed donut still but yeah it's got that pumpkin kick to it I like it not overbearing strong [Music] but mhm are you tasting pumpkin mhm wa youat don't no yeah maybe they give you a regular glazed ah I need I mean the pumpkin Tastee to it is extraordinarily subtle extraordinarily subtle very subtle pumpkin SP pumpkin taste to it uh I guess I like that it's not overwhelming with it cuz it's still a glazed doughnut but it tastes like a very it tastes to me like a glaz yeah like a glazed dut Crispy Cream I'm telling you disappointing I I want to go in here I want I really guys I want to go into Crispy Cream I want to go in optimistic I want to go in like you know like excited and and blown away and and and joy filled right Joy that's the new word of 2024 right now joy every everything is Joy I want to right and every time it seems like I'm consistently disappointed I taste no pumpkin in this I taste a very subtle I I really I I taste I taste spice but almost like um I taste more nutmeg in this than I do actual pumpkin I love the taste of pumpkin you know that from my previous video where we went to Starbucks now the stuff that I had at Starbucks 1,000 times 1,000 times better than this that had a very very strong delicious pumpkin taste to it is there pumpkin bread back in season that pumpkin bread is good just you know what say what you want to say about Starbucks corporate whatever so is this um a few it's good it's good there stuff's good there you know I it just is um and I think we need to we need to review I don't we need to review the pumpkin bread at um at uh at Starbucks because it's it's yeah just the the the lemon I I don't yeah just kid I I'm um I'm disappointed in the lack of pumpkin taste for me personally in this this taste um very nut like everything at Crispy Cream for me overly sweet tastes like sugar it tastes like sugar it tastes like it tastes like your basic glazed donut to me it's not bad yeah it's not I say it's bad but it's not bad if you like it's not bad if you like a glazed donut but it's not like ooh got to go back and gra oh wow that pumpkin flavor yeah there was nothing because I love pumpkin didn't wow me didn't have the wild Factor let's try the Barbie Dream House Barbie dream house now here we go this seemed like Ken and Barbie we could we could do that yeah yeah now here we go with this this seemed like this was very complicated to order this check this out guys so you got you got the dream housee on there on the beach don't have a lot of detail on this this is the creamfield that's the uh apparently the Dreamhouse there wait I think you're holding it sideways yeah I'm holding it sideways it's supposed to be a beach that's what she said yeah there's the house that's a cloud right there blue skies Sandy Beach all right I'm going to eat some sand ready okay all right we're going in we're indulging oh I think I got some of the foundation in my teeth let's indulge Sandy got to be careful where you get sand people it's not pleasant not bad and you know the theater room's not too bad what is that [Music] Jordan well I saying the theater room wasn't too bad tastes a little better than the the kitchen so far I'm halfway through two bites and I have yet to taste any cream but that's all right we'll see if on the third bite here I can there bites the Charm Baby there you go I mean I love donuts in general this is pretty good it's just again the frosting on top is just not necessary so just sugar Galore yeah the cream oh no uh-uh not feeling it no no that oh God that cream is um I know you like it I think it's good oh wow mm-m that that first of all the it is incredibly sugary uh that cream tastes like I'm having a fluoride treatment that's immediately what what taste came to mind uh again incredibly sugary very very very sugary very strong sugar taste um the the the frosting on top of it tasted um has that kind of plasticky for me taste I want to hear what you what you think Jordan that kind of U like um like it's it's uh like well plastic you know what it's a very fitting doughnut for Barbie in the sense that um it tastes plastic like like it's it's it's it's doesn't taste it it tastes synthetic then when I actually did bite into the cream I don't know if you remember as a kid you don't so much have them now but back like in the late' 70s and ' 80s you used to have a thing called fluoride treatments and you'd go in and they would have like a banana flavor and you would bite down into like the floride treatment no I remember those you remember those yeah and when you would bite down into them it was like a th paste you'd bite down into it and and it had this fluoride taste mixed with like a synthetic flavor that's exactly what that that cream immediately brought me back I guess for me it just tasted like a cream donut but would brought me back to 1979 which was kind of cool because 1979 is is Smashing Pumpkins but this did not have the magic of that album this this did not have Billy Corgan this is not this is not I don't know if Barbie be playing this this is this is uh this is not 1979 this is not it just tastes like a regular cream dut it was good I still indulged it um I'm just hungry yeah it it just tastes like a regular cream donut way too much frosting on the top so but basically what made this other than just decoration what made it Barbie um what made it Barbie is that it tasted like it was plastic and something that came out of of a Mattel uh assembly line it tasted assembly line to me that's what made it Barbie so if you're looking for a plastic synthetic not tasting anything real uh that came off in assembly align mission accomplished George W um because that's what it tastes like the hot chocolate was not good uh and in my opinion the donuts weren't good either one of them uh on a scale of 1 to 10 Jordan why don't you go ahead and and give your recommendation because mine is not going to be high uh I just give each a five on one to 10 just a five like they're in the middle they're not they weren't bad but there weren't like something to go brag about like I'm not going to be sending people down here to come grab them so on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being brigit BAU at the age of 22 one being absolute lowest of likelihood that you would ever ordered it again you're going to give it a five I said five hot chocolate scale 1 to 10 same five everything's just kind of in the middle there nothing great a scale bad but great so on a scale of 1 to 10 Jordan is giving it a five and on a scale of one to 10 I am giving it a on a scale 1 to 10 Again Bri BAU um I am I am the hot chocolate and I am giving it a two absolute um I am take that Barbie uh I I think I'm being overly high with it and also there that that experience at the drive-thru was weird that was awkward that was um the guy with the order and didn't the lack of knowledge or not necessarily knowledge no energy no energy whatsoever first of all I could barely hear him um and also did not there was absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever or seemed like I had extract everything um and also crispy K cream as a whole not impressed with your lack of um commitment to what your your follow through with having specialty items like that two weeks uh not impressed with it at all I think I'm being very generous with my uh with my with my with my two do I recommend this absolutely not um so sorry not a high Mark for you crispy K cream once again you have let me down so that's that's my ranking but we got to spend some time with you and I got to spend some time with my best buddy Le thank you brother still fun hey guys let me know what
