Celtic we update on a few players that have reportedly been uh on Celtic scouting radar and also a couple of new surprise additions to the players that Celtic are said to be considering or preparing interview um he says that he's Parlo Bernardo hoping that it's a matter of hours before parlo Bernardo signs for Celtic he apparently is hard's medical apparently there's a 3.4 million transfer fee agreed plus a 30% sell on clause for Ben f um and B Rogers is very hopeful that the part Bernardo deal will be done in a matter of hours and so hopefully by the end of Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning um probably not quite in time for getting him into the match day squad for the game against karik on Sunday um although maybe um on the bench might be realistic depending on how he has done H training in pre-season without playing any friendlies for or for Celtic so maybe by this time tomorrow we'll have parlo Bernardo as a permanent Celtic player for the next five years now some interesting um players Celtic are said to be lining up bids for both of them seem to be one way or another trumping deals that our big rivals across the city um have been hoping to get organized first of which is um very promising high potential player from Manchester United called Hannibal mesb he is an attacking midfielder and Central midfielder 21 years old born in France but he is a Tunisian International 27 caps for Tunisia he was bought by Man United at the age of 16 for 9 million which seems pretty incredible for a player of that age he has not really um got going at Manchester United he's had lone Spells at Birmingham and at Seville but he has had very impressive record playing for Manchester United under 23s um for them he has played 41 games six goals 17 assists his full career for Manchester United's first team is 13 games with one goal and no assists he had a spell with Seville on loan with six games over there in La Liga one start and five substitute appearances but with no goals and no assists and he had a season long loan at Birmingham with 41 games one goal and Mejbri six assist so he is now going into his last year of his contract at man united it runs out in June 2025 and Manchester United are looking to sell him on with um a small loss and the reported asking price is7 million now me Bri is a player that has been compared by multiple expert pundits to Roy Keane and Brian Robson the two great Manchester United leaders captains and midfielders and so he does appear to be a player who is expected to be a massive star in the long term it does appear that his his um career has slightly stalled at Manchester United he has struggled to get first team action and hasn't it would appear really prospered on loan at Birmingham or at um Seville however um the story was that Rangers were hoping to get him on a season long loan with an option to buy at the end of that however according to multiple soures Celtic are lining up a bit to buy Meb now in the summer window and bring him through to be a Celtic star of the future does seem um uh surprising out of left field sort of transfer story there are a couple of Celtic fan sites who do this sort of thing for a living who are pouring cold water on it and so we'll need to see over the next 24 48 Hours whether there is any um truth in this story if uh the rumors do get stronger and stronger or actual bid goes in I will actually do a um profile video of Meb just so we all can see what we're potentially getting another player that Celtic are Shankland said to be preparing a bid for is Lorden shankland the hearts Captain top scorer in the Scottish Premiership last season current Scottish International and he is in the last year of his contract with hearts hearts are um hoping to get him signed a new contract but shankland has turned down several new contracts now it was thought that Rangers were saving up all their pennies to try and buy shankland in this transfer window um Rangers have been um selling off quite a few of their um players releasing quite a lot of their highly paid players and um were thought to be saving up all their pennies to buy shankland who have for um multiple sources are suggesting that Celtic are lining up a bid of3 million to4 million pound for shankland um partly because the ongoing saga of um signing Adam Ida from norch is continuing to H meet brick walls so again we'll need to see whether the rumors and stories suggesting shankland is being lined up for a Celtic bed and we'll need to see whether those turn out to be true or not and again um we'll do my best to update over the next few few days as to where things are going with that one Eder coming back to Adam Ida as some of you may be aware he was late turning up for the flight with the NCH Squad to go off for friendlies in Germany and Austria and he then got a a later flight all by himself uh he now has been disciplined by the Norwich manager um who seems distinctly unhappy with him apparently the not Norwich fan and group are also unhappy with Eda I thinka does seem to be doing his absolute best to get a move away from norch now it is said by a couple of sources that Celtic um went back to um nor norch with a further bid uncertain what that bid was for but norch apparently according to One Source who claims to be have Insider knowledge um is that NCH are looking for 11 million 11 million for Adam eer for me is a complete joke I think Celtic were asked to pay 6 million something around that level even just maybe with add-ons or sellon clauses I think again I'd be quite happy for Celtic to spend that kind of money on Adam Eder but 11 million for Adam eer is a bit of a joke for me and um I don't think seltic should go anywhere near an 11 million pound bid for Adam Eder especially if players such as Bo meowski and um Lauren shankland and Tommy Conway and um Jason Russell R all can be available um for lower prices and for me several of those are just as good as Adam EA as a goal scorer for Celtic one less encouraging story is Bueno that wolves have completely ruled out any option of Celtic taking Hugo Bueno on loan for the season it was said that Hugo buo was very keen to join Celtic on a season long loan but uh wolves have completely ruled that out um I suspect that is because they are looking for um some extra depth uh for as their backup left back and that PUO is much stronger than um the other left back backup in their squad no other um news updates transfer News Updates updates um as yet and no updates as yet on the level of Fitness of Nicholas and um daen maida and M nroi all of whom have picked up injuries in pre-season um we' be expecting now that Celtic are fully back from their preseason tour to America and we'll be back in training we'll get a we update on MAA nroi and Co over the course of the next couple of days in preparation for Sundays season opener H against Outro karik and so that finishes things off for today
