Intro fourstar running back Shaquille Mills KN has announced he is come to old men and this is the big time commit for Old Men the class of 2025 and I do believe this is the best commit that we have here in the class of 2025 this is the player who will have an impact on this team as a true freshman in my opinion and you know after the 2024 season Old Miss is losing a bunch of running backs now for those who don't know USIS B with the forth is a senior he can't come back Henry Paris Jr a senior he can't come back rashan Amos a senior he can't come back uh Wan dids you know right now he's injured uh what like he may be back maybe week four maybe week five um possibility he could be back before then possibility it could take longer than that I'm not really too sure to be honest with you I have not heard any type of update on him in quite a while um but there's a possibility he may play this year there's a possibility he may decide just not to play this year and let this year basically not count for him I don't know what he's thinking I don't know what he's kind of leaning toward um but we'll see what he decides to do here we should have an answer within a couple weeks of what wogan did will do for us here in 2024 but possibility dids may not be back next year uh Dominique Thomas now he does have a CO year um so technically he is a senior this year but the co year he can come back one more season if he wants to uh and then you also have Matt Jones Now Matt Jones is a junior uh he can come back in 2025 if he wants to but this is my point Old Miss is losing three Running Backs running backs after the 2024 season that we know of for sure there's a possibility Old Miss may lose five running backs after the 2024 season so running back is a huge need for roal M after this season and I want to talk about this right quick as well too now we talked about this guy a couple days ago but for those who don't know a fourstar running back a c and Deere is going to make his decision here in a couple days now in the video I said was going to be August the 28th I guess I got confused or mixed up or read that wrong I don't know what happened anyway once was short it's not AUST the 28th it will be August the 20th uh which be this Tuesday so there's a possibility Old Miss may have two running back commits within 4 days it's a possibility we'll see what happens with that on Tuesday but if old men does not if old men does not get a cow and Deere I do believe om Miss will get somebody else in the class of 2025 uh I know there's a couple other guys miss is recruiting pretty hard as well too for the running back position um but we'll see what happens with that here in the coming months uh but also I do believe this as well too I do believe will probably add probably two running backs in the portal uh possibility it could be more than two uh running backs in the portal after after the after The Season's done uh but Old Miss we have a couple of veterans coming in I believe from the portal and I do believe Miss will have a couple of pretty good freshman running backs coming in as well too so at this time of course we don't know how this running back roster is going to look in next year we just don't know we don't know who's going to transfer in I believe Old Miss will get another running back me for the class of 2025 but who it's going to be I don't know so at this time it's too early to predict what's going to happen in the future but I will say this I do believe Mills Knight has a possibility of being a backup maybe a third screen uh but this is a guy very talented football player and I do believe he's going to be a guy who will not R sh I believe this will be a guy who's going to play right away will he play every game for RO Miss as a true freshman I don't know but I do believe this will be a guy we will see many times in 2025 as a true freshman at all miss so as far as Shaquille Mills Rankings Knights rankings um I mean you look at you know you look at on three 247 sports ESPN uh Rivals you know no matter where you look at uh this is a player who is ranked anywhere from inside the top 150 to inside top 200 or top 250 now we talked about this a couple days ago but Rivals did a very big update on the rankings recently and Shaquille Mills Knight was one of those guys who got one of the biggest boost of anybody else I think he moved up I forgot how many spots it was but I'm kind of thinking it was like 70 spots 80 spots he moved up that may not be right um but he was one of those guys I do know it moved up many spots in the rankings for sure now Rivals has his kid as a 116th best player in the country the seventh best running back in the country and also the second best player in Tennessee class of 2025 now he goes to bayor school it's not bayor high school this is called bayor school now this school is in chanoa Chattanooga Tennessee there we go chanoa Tennessee now for those who don't know Bryson Sanders who is a offensive lineman at Old Miss went to that same school now they're in that area they're in the Chattanooga area bayor school has been one of the best high schools in the area for a very long time uh they have they've had many players who have went the one somewhere uh they won some state championships they went to the playoffs a bunch of times set school has done a lot of good things not only within the last two three five years but even within the last 10 years the last 20 years for a very long time this school has been consistent and they have done a lot of good things in football for sure so you watch Shaquille Mills kns film you watch the highlights and you know some of y'all want to know okay what is this player known for what's his strengths what's his weaknesses you know what is Old Miss get with Shaquille Mills night so I've been watching some film a lot the last Stats couple days even couple months ago when this name was kind of brought up pretty often it was even watching some film on him back then but this is a kid who is uh 6'2 and we he's 220 so I want to mention this as well too there's a possibility he could be our tallest and our biggest running back on the roster next year it's a possibility now your average running back is what 510 6 foot tall I mean there's some of them like 5'8 5'9 and you know your average running back is is what 190 200 lb if he is the biggest and tallest running back on the ra from n here as a true freshman I would not be surprised so daely his height and size is something you notice right off the bat and this is a guy you know very physical player he is not scared to run you over he don't care who you are he don't care if you're a true freshman he don't care if you're a senior he don't care if you even got a couple offers he's not scared of anybody this will be a player who is going to try and run you over but this is also a guy who has very good speed for his size uh very good making guys miss just very good football player and just very good just making plays now uh I want to mention this as well too now we we mentioned his weight just a second ago he does weigh around 220 uh I've seen some Reports say he's 225 but he is in the area somewhere now I want to talk about this for a minute this is just kind of a thought this is just a opinion um there's a possibility our coaches may want may want him to lose a little weight um just so he can get a little faster and this is the guy who already runs like a 4.5 40 yard dash so even for his size and height that's already very good speed but you know if he could lose 10 lb 15 lb I think coaches and fans are just kind of assuming there's a possibility he could even get a little faster so we that's just kind of a thought that's just an opinion but if he does come to Old Miss and if he does try and lose a little weight I wouldn't be shot it's a possibility just keep your eye on it um but yeah we mentioned he runs like a 4.5 40 yard dash I've actually seen a couple times uh that were posted of him running like a 4.47 4.48 uh I did see a 4.49 one time as well too um but the average is right there around a solid 4.5 um but yeah tall guy physical guy good hiy good size a guy who is not scared to run you over uh good making moves um I will mention this as well too um this is kind of a different conversation this is also kind of opinion based as well too but uh Passing Game they were at Bay School um he was used in the passing game I know S I don't know how much he was used exactly to be honest with you but I do know he was used um Su passing game and the rumors this year is coach King coach wise and you know some of your coaches are kind of wanting the running back to be more involved in the passing game this year that's just kind of the word on the street that's a rumor uh and of course Old Miss has done it you know some in the past you know even s within the last couple years but supposedly we're wanting to do even more this year and of course I mean you look at our receiver room of course everybody's going to be focusing on you know tree Harris uh Watkins you know juice whals uh prorn you know the Quan right all those guys the corners the safties the linebackers just the whole entire defense is going to be focusing on the receivers the running backs are going to be kind of your guys who were kind of forgotten about in the passing game so I think that's what the coaches were kind of thinking this year is hey you know they're don't you know teams will be focusing on these other players more let's pass the ball to their running back s and what we got guys who they got speed they can make guys miss they're physical I mean we got guys we got some running backs who I believe could be pretty special this year in the passing game I think Mills Knight will probably be used some passing game at all minut as well too how much I don't know but I do believe he will be used at least some in the
