2 points dropped, Rice, Ref & Missed Chances Curtis Fancam - Arsenal 1 - 1 Brighton

so people Arsenal won Brighton won oh man week three in the Premier League and already Arsenal getting the fan base stressed two points dropped I don't care what anyone says I'm not interested in 10 men and we put up a good fight we dropped two points today against Brighton and when you look at the fixtures around the corner Tottenham away man city away we've put ourselves under pressure today I mean let's unravel the game we took the lead in the first half very good finish from Kai havs very good pass from Baio Saka everything's looking Rosy in the garden by the way we weren't great in the first half saaka started well and um but Brighton had more possession which was a little bit of a worry why are they dominating the ball so much second half it all unraveled Declan rice gets sent off listen in my opinion it's very very harsh and I think the referee should have used common sense and just said look mate don't be silly it's not like he booted the ball away far the ball was still rolling the referee hadn't blown the whistle apparently and he just Taps it away a yard and gives him a second yellow the referee should have used common sense and thought second yellow card's going to ruin this game he hasn't really done anything wrong the ball was moving anyway he wasn't even able to take the free kick but he wants to make it all about him and gets himself sent off however you do have to look at Declan rice and say listen don't give a referee a decision to make Anyway by kicking the ball away even if it is a yard but these refs in the Premier League are an all-time low and and I'll be honest the biggest concern for me is that Declan rice number one misses the north London Derby we can't a we can't appeal to yellow cards and can we start actually talking about the performance level of dein rice this guy last season was one of the best number Sixers in the Premier League we're now playing left Center mid in the eight roll it doesn't work he's not an attacking player he's much better at winning the ball back on the edge of his penalty area and protecting us sort that out he cannot play in this role it doesn't work obviously if Marino was available maybe Marino would have gone there and rice would have gone back to the six row um after that what happens 1 The Equalizer the defending is absolutely shambolic lack of communication CBA tries to pass the player on to Ben White Ben White runs past him then CBA tries to recover the gap between CRA and Gabrielle is too big shot on goal rebound comes out to Xiao Pedro Thomas par is having a nap and he Taps it in one1 you're thinking this is not looking good mtoa ripped Ben White to Pieces today nearly every time he had the ball he went past him like he wasn't even there it was light work um matoma is a very good player and uh definitely performed like his old self today um but then we had two of the best three chances in the second half David Ry makes an unbelievable save half the goal to aim at he does hit a little bit close to him but an amazing reaction save how worrying is it again that we're talking about David Ry as man of the match you should not be talking about your goalkeeper being man of the match on such a regular basis when you're supposed to be in a title challenge team that is a worry and a concern by the way I thought Timber was solid again but Timber comes off injured hopefully that's nothing major but obviously a worry when you consider the injury that he's had um so the goal we concede is terrible hav scores a lovely goal in the first half as I said lobs the keeper long ball up to him does a Magic Touch outpaces The Defender one-on-one with the goalkeeper I'm thinking if he scores this I'm gonna go absolutely crazy this is Magic keeper saves it with his leg not a great finish sacka doesn't hit the rebound well and then hav trips himself over when the ball comes back to him and for all the credit I give HZ for a fantastic goal in the first half you can't help but think would a top quality Striker have slaughtered that into the bottom corner and WN as the game I can't help but feel like he would have um and that's the rtion he then does well in the buildup plays a great ball to sacka saaka stretching he doesn't make good contact I have to admit people sacka first 20 30 minutes was good second half I thought sacka was abysmal two simple passes that we were on the counter attack he couldn't make really disappointing second half after starting the game well and uh yeah he's that's where you need to be able to take players off Leandro trod I tweeted it and I said it during the stream you may not like to hear this but Raheem Sterling's going to end up starting left wing for Arsenal because trossard we all clamored for him to start this week after coming on against Villa but unfortunately trossard just looks like a super sub who makes a good impact Off the Bench when he starts games he doesn't have a big enough impact and he ends up getting put back on the bench and Martin Elli we know Martin ell he's been out of form so there's an issue there trussardi tried hard it was his old Club he put a good ball in in the first half for odard but apart from that he was non-existent odard today he played a fantastic ball to sacka in the first 10 minutes apart from that he was non-existent and it says a lot to me when you're dragging off your captain when you're in such a difficult situation maybe he was injured he got a kick on the leg on the knee I think maybe he was struggling second half he's got a simple passing to calafiori would have been one-on-one just whipping round the defender he hits it straight at him for a player of his quality it's poor listen was the referee good enough not at all he should have booked Jiao Pedro in the first half for kicking the ball away he ignores it you could say he's using Common Sense he don't want to book players but then you have to keep that same common sense when you deal with the Declan rice situation e you're either you're a a strict ref or you're a laid-back ref he's actually showing favoritism that's not acceptable poor the standard of refereeing in this country is shambolic it's as simple as that they've got to start getting refs from outside of England these guys are not good enough however however Dean rice has to take some responsibility he didn't need to do it what are you even kicking the ball away for even if it is one yard you're onun a yellow card you're walking a tight rope don't give that referee any decision to make and you give him one so he's got to look in the mirror as well he cost us three points today we win that game with 11 men we could have even won it with 10 men it's poor he misses the north London Derby what are we going to go georgino I mean he brought zenchenko on in Midfield which is interesting maybe he will go zenchenko and Thomas par Thomas to me looks like he's aged about five years he's struggling to run the speed across the ground is not there at the moment and Mikel mourino who was supposed to replace him he's sitting in the stadium with a broken or a fractured shoulder so you know International break some of you might come in the comments and have a completely different Outlook and say listen against Brighton with 10 men for 40 minutes it's not a bad point for me I'm disappointed I think Manchester City beat Brighton with 10 men at home I do and that's the standard we're aiming for I'm now concerned not just about Man City in front of us but Liverpool behind us they're going to put pressure on us Tottenham and Man City next if we don't beat Tottenham all of a sudden we're in a mini you know a a little problem starts to occur if you don't win that next game and then you've got to play Manchester City away I said it yesterday at the end of that stream this transfer window was not good enough I said I'm happy with Raheem Sterling on loan I think it's a decent signing but that window is not good enough people have been rating it way too high we didn't get the striker we haven't gotten enough Squad depth at the moment we didn't get any creativity in to replace Smith row and Fabio and we're short in certain parts of this team and today was the first time it's bitten us I just hope this is not one of them games you're looking back on at the end of the season and saying do you remember that Brighton game at home when we dropped points because we did that against Fulham last year and it came back to B so for me two points dropped paor ref paor from Declan rice and paor finish finish in has cost us three points today and listen deflated I'm actually glad there's an international break I need a break from watching Arsenal and it's only week three people let me know in the comments what you think is it the ref's fault is it Rice's fault is it the Miss chances is it an accumulation of all three why did we not get a strike C or am I being too harsh on havocs he scored
