um has steeped her life in dealing with the traumas and exposing uh injustices and other people's lives I think for me the the challenge and um the agony I I think of of playing a character like this is that the crisis happens um almost as soon as we meet up so we know nothing about her only what other people say about her and so it was a tricky thing not to reveal too much but almost in a way of playing a little bit like a glass of water onto which other characters and I think the audience and I know myself from the very first read of the script I was shocked at the layers of judgment that I'm thinking I was a fairly non-judgmental person that that I um transposed onto onto the character really knowing nothing about her at all
