moving on Las Vegas Raiders another Taylor 2
seasons type team it started with former offense coordinator for my favorite team the New England
Patriots Josh Mcdaniels in a situation that anyone could have told you was gonna go poorly but
the Raiders decided to see it through anyways the season started there were three and five it
was Team Mutiny and allegedly this is according to Jay Glaser Josh Mcdale called a team Mutin it
started going off the rails Antonio Pierre stepped in started telling an inspiring story about
how they beat my Patriots in 2007 and the team finally started get back on board and as they're
getting on board Josh Daniels was more offended that Antonio Pierce was making fun of the Patriots
than he was dying to get his team back on his side to stay safest season and as we all know Josh
Mcday is unemployed right now because of it but after that a revitalized Raiders team went 5 and
4 for the rest of the season beat the Chiefs for the first time since Barack Obama was in office
and we're there were sniffing the playoffs they're like one or two games out so I have to ask going
into this season is it more likely that they make the playoffs or they have the No. 1 overall pick
well for me I know you're gonna disagree with me by having making the playoffs in actually winning
Super Bowl whoa so so whoa okay so ain't O'connell and or Gardner Mitchell was holding up the Super
Bowl trophy at the end of the year that's correct I gotta I gotta hear you I gotta hear you out go
for it well I'm not sure if you watch the Wide Receiver documentary on Netflix I call clips well
I feel like they made moves to help Devonte Adams like the defense is always been immaculate then
that wasn't their problem their problem came with the quarterback running back even though even
though they didn't upgrade on their quarterback well I have Aiden O'Donnell he went 7 and 6 since
he took over Jimmy Garoppolo 1 and three on the documentary Devonte Adams he didn't like playing
with Jimmy oh very clearly didn't like playing with you and like I feel like when Antonio Pierce
took over it gave gave them like a rejuvenance of life and everybody started playing it hard out and
like you can see it with the bunch of Adam like he was nonchalant at first wait um Joshua that
Josh Mcdaniels you didn't know if he was gonna be there or requested traded when Antonio Pierce
came on he was all for it he's like this my team taking it back let's go for it and that's gonna
carry them to a Super Bowl well the defense like I said been immaculate forget they got a guy
over there named Max Crosby love that guy he's my favorite for Defensive Player of the year I
just spoiled the gambling podcast but I'm betting on him for Defensive Player of the year this year
yeah he's a dog and ain't no doubt I feel like he did enough to help them win games like last year
I I don't know how gardiment who did it with the Colts nobody knows how we're all still we're all
still trying to figure it out yeah but I feel like they got more people to help Devonte like gala
from from the Dallas Cowboys and they picked up a great tight end with and Browers so I like I
like Brock coming out a lot was that a need pick for the Raiders not necessarily but considering
they were what six quarterbacks taken before them and as much as Saints fans like Spencer Rather
now there's no way in hell they were drafting Spencer rather that spot hey you take the best
player available that was Brock Powers I like the pick I like the defense they double down on
it by getting Christian Wilkins which again not a need but if Christian Wilkins wants to play
for your team you can afford it fuck it go for it why not and I was looking this up as you were
talking the uh see who's got named the starter I was like someone had to been named the starter by
now and surprise surprise Gardimentary looks like he's gonna get Game 1 and we'll see what happens
between him and Aiden O'connell from that point on I wanna roll with you cause I like Antonio
Pierce as a coach regardless of what he did to my Patriots in no 7 I like Antonio Pierce as
a coach my question with him though is and I mean this is respectfully as possible is it more
good vibes or is he actually a good coach because the just the atmosphere changing of thank god
we don't have Josh Mcdaniels no more is great for Season 1 but what happens when you're 3 and 4
going into a road game against a team that's more talented than you it's the second quarter you're
down 14 and all of a sudden the team's looking at you like I vibes ain't so goddamn good right
now what's going on you know I'm saying like what what happens then I guess that's more of my
more of my concern with this scene outside of the quarterback situation with the vibes like say
say if you have a boss that you don't get along with you're gonna do the bare minimum of course
if if you like your boss you're gonna go above and beyond so I feel like that's gonna motivate
them so the vibes pretty much translate to the quoting so I'm I got to take a look at their
schedule real quick they have the 24th their 24th and struts schedule and that's in reverse
order I don't feel like counting back from 32 right now that's either 8th or 9th feel free to
check my math on that one all right so the 8th and strut the schedule have the 8th hardest
schedule in the league with trips to a trip to Baltimore trip to the Rams a trip to Miami
a obviously trip to Kansas City Atlanta oh trip to this schedule is a motherfucker boy oh my God
oh my God I can't I can't I can't see Super Bowl from this team although if I had to pick a sneak
into the playoffs late nab the 7 seed if Antonio Brown proves to be more than just good vibes as
a coach it'll be perfect me yeah yeah Antonio purse the Antonio Brown ain't on nobody coaching
staff thank god and um if Antonio Pierce truce proves to be a legitimate head coach and I do
like the staff he put together to with Marvin Lewis is one of the senior advisors I love when
rookie head coaches grab a veteran head coaches just show them how shit goes got a bunch of
people on the staff that I like if he could prove that that's when the team together and this
defense is as incredible as I think it'll be I think 9 and 8 segment of the division is in play
because the next team will get to I'm not as high on as other people are but Super Super Bowl is a
lot for me bro that that's a lot that that's a lot that's a lot winning this division it's too rich
for my blood it's too rich just way way too rich for my blood closing out the Raiders it is Monday
February 10th 2,025 the headline on the Las Vegas Raider season is what well for me I'm still high
on Antonio Pierce so I got Antonio Pierce taking us to the Promised Land next year alright I was
