well you know I mean the managers used to battles down at the bottom of the table let's let's make no mistake that's what it's going to be isn't it well absolutely I mean there no no surprise at all success for any of the promoted s include Leicester and is is staying in the division that that's just where we are because I think I mentioned it before Jeff whether I'm right or wrong I don't know but I honestly think that the Gap is is getting bigger again between the Top Flight and the championship you and I absolutely love that Championship it's one of the most compe of leagues in the planet just absolutely adore it but unfortunately the gap between that Division and the one the Top Flight is massive and getting bigger yeah uh let's look ahead to the game with a member of that 2016 Premier League winning Squad it's a very good morning to Mark Albright morning Mark good morning Mark how are you good morning Lads yeah very well thank you great stuff Mar thanks for joining us I was just going to ask you tell me tell me something different I mean we and and it's an obvious thing to say and I know what happened last year with the three promoted sides but what's going to be different about leester what's going to give Leicester the opportunity to stay up mate I think they need to be um they need to be very strong I think at times last year especially the the the period where we we sort of hit a bit of a dip and struggled I felt we was quite we was quite weak and and we got overran a little bit and I think it's going to be crucial this year that that we we really stick together and um and form a bit of a strength in the squad and and because there is going to be there is going to going to be really difficult times this season I think any Leicester fan will will admit that so it's them them moments that are going to be really important I mean it's difficult enough for any Premier League side uh any newly promoted Premier League side to survive that first season back isn't it Mark but I just wonder that when the players wake up you know in the morning of you know their first game back in the big time and there are headlines about Lester facing two possible points deductions that must play on people's minds mustn't it I think as as players I think they've they've just got to park that like as as hard as that might be they've just got to park it and what we what we achieved last season in in getting promoted and and the Feelgood factor that that was created we obviously after the relegation things things weren't weren't good at all and I felt like over the course of last season we we managed to managed to form a a bond back again with the the supporters and the fans like uh the supporters and the players sorry and that that Bond was back and and there was a a togetherness there there was there was a collective um effort to to get promoted and I think we have to do as as much as possible to to keep hold of that and and that'll be that'll be massive for us this season Mark we're talking to to Jeff I a question mark what we talking about Southampton for example I'm not sure Southampton have got enough goals in their side um I might be proven wrong what but Wester obviously when we're going to mention Jamie who has been absolutely unbelievable um player for Leicester city over the years F toov re have you get enough goals in your team I think they have yeah I think the main thing obviously like you mentioned there with with Jamie vardy he I think the important thing this year is to keep him fit as as fit as possible and what whatever he needs to to do that whether that be sort of extra time off throughout the week whether it be an extra sort of recovery day um anything to to keep him fit because I think we we've seen over the years that if he plays he's got goals in him at any level he'll be able to score goals so that'll be the big thing I think obviously tonight with with him being being missing and and Daka also being injured it it it doesn't look like we've got the the Firepower at the minute um but I think one of those once those players come back I think yeah like I say if we can keep them fit then then it's good and I think even with deod over Reed I think he's he's proven himself at this level that that he can score goals and that that he can be a threat yeah he you've brought in for bu nauy on loan as well as a player I like very much indeed and about to bring in Ole skip from Spurs what what's your view on that yeah I think it's a good signing again Premier League experience um he's he's played in some big games uh he's played with in front of big crowds top players um so I think it's a I think it's a good signing I think it's it's going to be important as well we've I just heard Steve Cooper there mention about the the mix that they've got between the the sort of players that have played at at this level and the players that haven't in my opinion the players that that have uh played at this level are going to be crucial in in helping the other Lads Lads along because last season not not that it was easy what one bit but this season is going to be a totally different test and there's going to be like I said times where you you've got to stick together and it's and there's a lot of young players in there so the experienced players that that have played in the Premier League before are going to need to help them them boys through it um just a quick word on Spurs or one player in particular Mark James Madison uh back at his old stamping ground what sort of reaction from the home fans can he expect uh mixed I think I think I think he for that me yeah I think he would um do you know what I think if we can we can remember the the the things that he's done for for the club obviously the FA Cup win was was crucial he he was brilliant That season and and he he scored some some really important goals for for the club and um and when he was there he he' give everything everything for the shirt so I think it's important that we um the the club and the fans that remember remember them times um and uh yeah hopefully he'll get a warm reception but I'm not I'm not too sure look Mark thanks for much indeed enjoy the game thanks Mark all the best thank you very much see you soon and Lester against Spurs of course is live on talk sports uh Andy the Chelsea fan says I've got a new nickname for you I'm going to call you anti Chelsea Stelling doesn't exactly roll off the tongue Andy I know how the fields F fans feel now Andy all we try to point out
