[Applause] be has so much to talk about but first of all your opponent someone who I'm sure you have a lot of respect for you watched her win titles while you were making your way up here you seem to enjoy that one even after that first match point you're smiling and looking to your crew you had to have had fun out here [Music] today uh thank you Bri um yeah first of all kolene she's a such an a fight player I respect her a lot her career is amazing is still amazing and she well Rich the number one a lot of titles and I remember when I start to play professional she was already on the top so it's not easy to change the the mind I understand that it's not a television and it's real so I'm very happy that I was trying to wow improve Pro to focus in my game and I'm very happy because I respect her and I know it was a very tough botle a couple of uh a couple of pieces of history that you've created today and I'm so curious to know which one means more to you you're the first Brazilian to make it to the quarterfinals here in 56 years since Maria buenos and you're the first left-hander from South America to ever make it into the quarterfinals here which of those two pieces of History means more to you uh it it's very special to hear that U I didn't know before the match and that's why I think I I just try to work hard every single day in my life and that means that I as I always say like my me my team my family we work very hard for this these moments to create the opportunity to get these matches and I feel very uh it's a a privilege for me to be here to represent not only Brazil as you said South America the left ones so yeah it it feels very special I don't have a lot of words now a a couple more things first of all we don't want to borrow feelings from the future so just a quick thought maybe about your next matchup against karolina mova you guys have played a few times some tough battles what are your early thoughts about that especially playing on ash the biggest tennis stadium in the world yeah well first I will try to well enjoy and recover my body take care of everything but for sure it will be a tough battle she's a great player last time we play it was an amazing match for from both of us and wow she has a a brilliant career as well and I'm very happy to have this opportunity to play in a big Stadium against big players and that's what we work for so I I'll try to enjoy as much as I can all right last thing help us out because the rest of us will never know what it's like to have a few thousand people yelling o [Applause] I was try to hold the emotions in the end of the match but now I couldn't um well it feels as I said it's very special for me Brazil is a big country and I know how many people is cheering for me not only here in this Stadium but at home and I feel this support um tennis is improving in Brazil and I'm very happy to to be this person who is representing the the women's sport also so big thanks come on New York beatric hadaj Maya
