Premier League action tonight we're back at a ground we've frequented quite a bit these past few seasons 5 years ago Town had never ever visited AFC Wimbledon that's now their fifth trip to them albe it the first time was at the Dom Temporary Home of Kings Meadow despite the fact there are currently 57 League places between the two sides it's only 7 months since we were last here when hip switch the team uh Jack Clark making his debut I mean it's a hugely exciting time to be an ipswitch fan and you know anything can happen in the cup we know that but the sheer quality on on show this evening very disappointing indeed a fair play to Wimbledon totally their kicks were good they missed the first penalty so the pressure was on them uh and uh they responded in the correct way um they took their two only chances in the game uh to make it 2-2 and unfortunately on the night although it had all the possession uh they didn't really work the goalkeeper enough the only good thing that's come out of it is there's been some uh excellent uh performances I thought Town's end was uh very good indeed and we got some minutes into Calvin Phillips and to the juice so that will all help for the bches that have come but at the moment a very bitter pill to swallow it has to be said does this have an impact on Saturday does it increase the pressure on Saturday otherwise Z to T could be going into the international break off the back of four straight defeats out of the cup as well yeah I think every game in this league is going to be um you know uh with pressure attached to it because we know we need to try and get points where we can there'll be some matches when we pretty much know that's going to be extremely difficult so I don't think it's made it any more difficult um I just think it would have been nice to have had a a a victory tonight and a cup run to look forward to but I don't think it makes any difference to Saturday new game and everything in the world to play for still and an awful lot of players aren't going to be playing much football at all are they that's the big blow that's why we wanted a run absolutely a lot of players missing weeks of competitive football they will and I know Kieran always uses you know these full allocation of Subs but that's only you know 16 players uh and we've got 25 uh in the squad so it is going to be extremely uh difficult I would say but I mean the chance was there to progress we didn't take it uh and we have to take our medicine remind me never ever predict an ipsit Town Victory as long as i' watch them I think you weren't the only one we discussed it in the car coming up and we thought you know with the team that they were going to put out with no disrespect to wimon at all you couldn't see anything
