all right here's your bird L minute for August 27th 2024 Orioles win 3-2 over the Dodgers who are the best team in baseball at the moment on the road this was a huge day for the Orioles as it pertains to the the division race the Nationals beat the Yankees in a Patrick Corbin against Garrett Cole pitching matchup and then the Orioles beat the Dodgers in a Cole Urban vers Jack flare matchup I had a feeling the Orioles might sneak one out in this game and Cole Urban has one of those games like he did against the Mariners last year which is pitches great out of nowhere wasn't quite the case but Cole did give the Orioles a great chance to win and then the bullpen was lights out Matt Bowman Matt Bowman out of nowhere gets massive outs in the middle Innings and then the back end of the bullpen Perez Canó and Dominguez Dominguez made it a little dicey there but he gets out of it with 32 pitches and on the offensive side offense is still disappointing still really relying on the Home Run Ball but Ramone oras is absolutely carrying this team Ryan o' with a big Homer as well a massive win as the Orioles head into two really good pitching matchups to close the series
