now the the general thing about Mario right and something that uh you got to keep in mind with him is that his kills are very telegraphic he's going to kill you up smash he's going to kill you with back throw he's going to kill you you know uh off the top with the up the the ways that he kills are are super understandable and so when you understand how he works in a vacuum it makes it really easy to not die to him he's really good at getting the sent but as far as getting the kill because everything's so you know in front of your face it makes it tough however that up B is uh going to be very dangerous doesn't get punished right away but eats a nasty forward smash it's going to send him off stage good spot DOD from puppy and Ne man trying to to get the center stage and just a recovered spot we're going to see if the two going to work that's the dash attack off the air Dodge think he could have got a little more but the twoy up top is going to kill and me man's going to take the first stock of tonight all right got a nice twoe to St conversion into um aoui and you know he's doing a really good job all right got the back air out of Shield these are hard moves to hit okay puppy's going to have to find an answer really quick because he's definitely racking up damage from Mr me man gets a forward smash again the pivot but it's not going anywhere tries to hit him away uh with the fireball not going to happen I would love to see him try to like take the recovery of Mr mechan because I think it's pretty you know useful I'm not quite sure I haven't seen the stocks not so even for second and puppy trying to just get something going ooh has the air Dodge that he's looking for but he's impatient and he's unable to put himself in a position to capitalize mount a comeback what are piranha plants win conditions uh definitely get you to high per and get a grab cuz up throw is definitely a kill uh it will kill you as easily as like 150 uh especially for a character of Mario's weight that's not going a kill but I'm glad that he saves the the fourth match for high didn't want to steal it there's no way he's thinking that deep oh I am using I'm using the is getting through we're going to start off uray and trash let's go and you know both of these players in my opinion have evolved greatly from the last time that I've seen them play I had a a 2-1 set actually versus Trash against the gaming watch and uray has always been on the the upswing you know the first couple mtfs that have seen him at heals all right but now he's doing pretty okay for himself we're going to see if he can make the adjustments needed um all right tries to charge a down smash a little bit preemptive um and right now TR just looking to to get some basic combo STS but they're just trying to swing at each other right now I think maybe it's just tournament nerves or just trying to get used to the first match of the night oh my God that would have been a great Arrow all right good response by has to up smash out of Shield to punish the the electro shot now my honest opinion right I think both of these players are prime example of what happens uh to a three tour right so you spend a lot of time being a two- tour in this game and you're just like oh man how do I like improve what it is that I need to do to get to the next level and then you get this Renaissance of what you should do and you start getting the 32s that you want and eventually you start getting so comfortable with getting 3 twos that you kind of just don't take any less than that and you fall into a pattern of getting two twos again and so I think both of these players understand that they have the skill set they need to compete but they're blinded by their own previous success so they got to kind of work that through Ur getting a nice electroshock arm tries to look for an aerial option to punish trash gets the down air and gets the conversion but doesn't get the kill dark pits throws have a a bunch of 50/50s that are there for them in play you can get a down throw up here if they try to di out you can get a down throw you know the forward a just to get that kill too the one he just missed oh the DBZ not going to happen tries to get the arrow from off stage but just Fades away Kirby staring it down F I'm not scared oh good angle by uray excellent job but the side be super unnecessary and he doesn't die is this riddles all right 163 I'm sure he's going to die soon I'm looking for a Kirby Dash attack or maybe even a Kirby f at the ledge that's going to kill 100% on the plat 130% trash and the Cirby doing some work okay e getting a landing back air gets the sour spot not going to kill The Sweet Spot very very excellent though okay get down smash not going to work playing Kirby is always so tiling because you don't think Kirby is a good character and then when Kirby starts to cook it gets really really tilting for the opposing player all right Mr mecham Man coming to join me on commentary did an absolutely fantastic job in his first set your had no answers for you last set how did you feel after that set um I don't like I was just happy with how I played I feel like I did a very good job you did controlling the pace especially with him being new to MTF you you definitely did a good job I was telling you know our friends in the chat that you just controlled Center space very well and I don't think you know your opponent really understood exactly you know how to to capitalize on the weaknesses of piranha Play Good conversion all the way to 73 excellent job by trash tries to get it down to but he's not going to cover ledge the way he wants especially with like plant plant Mario is not a favorable match up for plant whatsoever a lot of matchups in this game are not favorable for also very true okay but n good job man you got it done all right we got a forward a and the electrock arm Ur using that move quite often in neutral and we'll see if you know he's able to do more with it right now I don't think it's been as effective as he'd like it to be but he's always been a very aggressive player so uh I don't expect that to Dash attacks just to kind of cover the ledge throw out some f tilts to cover some space even if it doesn't hit it forces your opponent to respect you and game of watch you know not necessarily A zoner but he just kind of keeps you away from him uh using Close Quarters moves I also kind of want to see him get more down smashes cuz those are really tilting you know get the the nice down smash into for smash confirm that a lot of people hate um there you go but he get down air uh the song titles are missing but they are there luckily you know some players some try hards like myself memorize the the song numbers yeah so so fever I don't know what happened I think it was either the last time I booted on my switch I I need you to send me whatever the best USBC cable is to buy that like the one that you have so I can redo it but yeah none of the song titles are there but all the songs are there I believe got it than thank you fever for you know helping out in the first place down air from
