Donovan Edwards explains how he uses positivity to lead the Michigan Wolverines as a team captain

going off that question about your leadership style Ben Hall mentioned just how your positive leadership has really impacted yeah uh why do you think that's so important to stay positive and and try and have fun out there because it's hard man football is hard especially like when you get coached hard and you know it's like you get you know just like cussed out and like why like why is this why is that it's hard to like continue to have a positive attitude like you're going to get in the mindset of like do I really suck like do I belong here you know you just can't have that that kind of mindset to be successful in football and especially in Michigan cuz it's truly hard you know like the ones that continue to you know have the growth and have the ability to learn and to grow and to have a and talk to themselves positively are going to be the ones that to be the guys that are going to be successful and a guy like Ben Hall he's going to be successful here because you know he he he's gone through battles and he's gone through through tough times and he's one guy that I see that's always growing that's always having a smile in his face and you know always uh latching going to older guys and learning from them so there's no doubt that he will be successful here because you know of the of the things that he's learned and the hardships that he has going through here as well that's a good answer I think Rod has done a phenomenal job I was just how I just said that you know like he could have he could just quit like he could say like I'm just going to do what I want to do next year whether him go to the end NL and stay stay for another year but Rod has is always going above and beyond coaching guys up helping younger guys uh doing his rehab and he's working his absolute hardest so I think that's a testament to R's character and guys of Cena and that's why he was bed as Captain and he deserves that
