president survived the assassination attempt. There have been at least two instances, I think, or one instance of an individual, who posted something, that I consider outrageous and totally inappropriate, and unacceptable. And that individual has been referred to our inspection division, which is the arm, our sort of internal affairs investigatory arm that does the disciplinary process. Okay Investigated. How about being fired on the spot? I mean, Samantha, you listen to FBI director Christopher Wray. Of course, they've taken forever to even give us an update. He had to go up to Congress so that we would learn more about what's happening with the assassination attempt. And then you have the media downplaying it. I mean, what's going on here? Yeah. I mean, instead of focusing on what went wrong, what were the security failures? We're now talking about conspiracy theories about he wasn't shot. We have a photo from The New York Times that actually shows the bullet whizzing right past his ear. So, you know, we've got the statement from his doctor saying that a bullet pierced the ear. We see the photos with the blood. So rather than focusing on what we're going to do differently and what exactly the security failures are, which they still won't tell us, they're instead spreading what I consider to be conspiracy theories. I would also say, with regard to the FBI employee, look, this is exactly why people don't trust the FBI. It's an organization that has so much cultural rot in its ranks. It's supposed to be nonpartisan. And we've got yet another example of someone working at this agency that has a serious anti-Trump bias. So, you know, this is exactly why people don't trust this institution. And Director Wray, I think, should spend more time focusing on eliminating those folks from his ranks. So that he can have some trust restored to his organization. Let me ask you, Matthew, because we saw earlier this week the Secret Service director, Kimberly Salcedo, resigned after what was a brutal congressional hearing. You know, it sounds like Christopher Wray, the FBI director, he survived his. But there's still so many pending questions about the lack of security, the failure from the Secret Service and the FBI to protect the president of United States. Yeah. Let's look at what's been going on recently on security failures front. Like the Secret Service admitted yesterday that or yesterday that two days ago, they let, Palestinian activists into the Watergate hotel where Netanyahu was staying, where they sprayed maggots all over the place. It's been a security failure for the Secret Service, I think, as bad as since when John Hinckley Jr narrowly missed assassinating Ronald Reagan. But remember that during Christopher Wray's testimony that I was supposed to go to physically to cover, there were literal pro-hamas demonstrators who basically shut down the streets of D.C, making it basically inaccessible for reporters to cover this, which is one of the reasons I think it flew under the radar. One thing that's interesting, though, is much like the Hamas run Gaza Health Ministry, these Palestinian activists drastically overstated the number of people who were going to be there. They said 10 to 20,000 people. And yes, they were very violent, very deprecatory, very pro Hamas. Nowhere near that showed up. And yet they still shut D.C. down for the most part. The left has been talking about lowering the temperature since the attempt on Trump's life. But here's Morning Joe talking about Trump just 12 days after the assassination attempt. The most striking thing, though, is that he thinks he can get votes, and he obviously can by tearing down America by saying, we are a horrible country, by saying we're a stupid country, by attacking us the same way Vladimir Putin or President. She attacks us by bringing us down. Where you heard Joe Biden last night lifting us up, that this campaign should be about that, about the greatness of America. Kelly your thoughts, Joe Scarborough has lost it. Everything you need to know about his show was the fact that they could not come on air the morning after President Trump's assassination attempt, because the executives at MSNBC were too concerned that one of their contributors might say something off color or off putting, so the media has gone mad. The media is so upset that Trump didn't get killed, and he has got that wonderful photo, that he went to the convention and said, you know, I took a bullet for democracy. They hated that line. They want to do everything to make this look like it wasn't what we actually saw live on television. And we all saw this live on television. Jaeson is the media downplaying the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, you know, I don't know. I only watch Newsmax, but smart news consumer what what I will say is, I don't I think this was a horrible assassination attempt. We know that whether it was a bullet or a bullet fragment, he was still getting shot at, you know? So I don't think that I know people are like, want to plant a flag that he was shot with a bullet. I don't think that that really matters. Like he was being shot at with an AK. Excuse me, an AR 15. And that's a very dangerous place to be. And there were security failures. So I agree with you. Yeah. Well, definitely on the video shows that two bullets really went very close
