Texas coming off of last season this is a real litmus test for that Michigan program I think it's a huge game if they win the game then you can definitely say they have not Fallen back that far that the ball might keep on rolling if Texas comes in there and puts a whooping on them that speaks volumes too I'm having a really hard time predicting what I think is going to happen in this game because emotion gets in the way it often happens trying to predict Ohio State or their games for me it just does it's just hard for me I'm usually way off but both teams made the playoffs last year obviously Texas whooped on Colorado State in game one they sit at number three in the polls Michigan dropped one spot to number 10 so a top 10 matchup still and it shows you just how little respect this Michigan team is getting on a national scene the returning national champions they won their first game by 20 points and Dam near fell out of the top 10 this is after entering the season with the lowest odds in the history of college football to repeat as national champions I'm not sure if that's accurate but it sounds good and it probably might be true maybe Michigan fans were very confident about this game just a few weeks ago they were so confident that I started doubting myself and worrying that I was missing something about this team that they got I started looking over their squad again thinking okay what did I miss why are they so confident no they still lost all their impactful coaches uh they still have a brand new offensive line with no experience together they're still 127th in returning production they're still banking on at that point a tight end at quarterback and a tight end as the leading receiver and a back leading the way who's a home run or bust threat totally and then we get to see him say play Fresno State the score was 30 to1 very misleading they were only up 16 to1 in the fourth quarter new starting quarterback Davis Warren who will get better not against Texas was 15 for 25 for only 118 yards in an interception really hard to see him doing anything against Texas in a defense that held Colorado State to 192 total yards the Texas offense did did lose CJ Baxter who's a really explosive running back but they got a couple young studs behind him Quin heads in there with a couple of new targets freshman wide receiver Ryan Wingo looks like a Bonafide stud um not quite JJ level but really really impactful Alabama transfer Isaiah Bond also looks really good as does Matthew golden I think he came from Houston these dudes are legit you got wide receivers you got running backs how many points are they going to put up how many do they need to put up to beat this Michigan team Michigan obviously still with a good defense they brought in transfer linebacker from Maryland uh Jon Barham and they said that he was going to be one of the best linebackers in the Big 10 horrible in his debut worst linebacker on their own team on Saturday Kenneth Grant Mason Graham did not play good either the line is seven and a half points for a reason I don't see what these Michigan folks are seeing um I'm going with Texas 27-10 here give me your prediction in the comments let me know what you guys think couple other decent matchups going on at noon we got daning Kyle McCord and the Syracuse orangeman hosting hannes King in the surprising Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Georgia Tech comes in as a two and a half Point Road favorite when we were looking at Syracuse schedule before the season and a lot of us were seeing what McCord and Syracuse and Fran Brown might do this looked like an easy win I I checked this off I recall Georgia Tech now comes in as the favorite in the 23rd ranked team in the country we saw how they mashed Florida State up front the offensive line is the real deal Kyle mcord had a big game in his debut Fran Brown hit the portal hard in the off season he's got some really good pieces and this guy he is a dude people want to play for and I don't suspect he will be at Syracuse long before he gets himself a big bump up in job quality this might be an excellent game this might be a way better game than the Texas Michigan game actually I'm really looking forward to this one and I find myself very intrigued by the entire mcord storyline I'm gonna go with the orangeman as the home dog to win outright in the moneyline special of the week and when they do we're going to be hearing a whole lot about Kyle McCord and if he plays good he deserves that but I cannot stand the Kyle McCord talk that Ohio State fans ran him out of town that's not true the simple truth is Ryan Day and Kyle McCord could not coexist anymore we saw the relationship breakdown on national TV on the sidelines what the last six games of the season last year these dudes needed a change it's just that simple and it doesn't matter how good Kyle McCord plays this year it wasn't going to happen at a Ohio State not in today's college football era so I wish that dude well I wish Syracuse well I like having that they were my team in the big big East when I was a kid I had a team in every conference I picked that I would root for because we didn't have a lot of inter-conference uh play so it just made for some more rooting interest and Syracuse was my Big East team and that's pretty cool that uh the McCord's playing there now so also at 12 in a pretty interesting spot we've got Oklahoma State the number six 16 team in the country hosting Arkansas Arkansas such a strange situation here and it makes it pretty intriguing as coach Sam Pitman on the brink of losing his job in the off season Arkansas goes out and brings in Bobby patrino former coach Bobby Petrino who we know all too well and he is the offensive coordinator sitting there like a vulture ready to take Sam pitman's job they go out put up 70 points in game one so petrino's got a cook him the dude's damn impressive as an offensive coordinator you got to give it to him a scumbag as a human being but a hell of an offensive coordinator on the other side you got Mike Gundy Mike Gundy took a Conor stallion shot this week in a separate video he well hell I'll just play the separate video I mean he's just he's uh becoming a Walmart version of Mike Leech this is coach Gundy Oklahoma State football day 20 to try to get Snoop Dog and Martha Stewart to an Oklahoma State Equestrian match we need you guys we want you guys here made himself quite a few headlines already this year started at Big 12 media days after star running back olly Gordon got a DUI maybe a week before media days Gundy comes in and says I looked up how many beers it would take to get you over the legal limit in Oklahoma and it was two to three beers hell I've done that a thousand times and of course the headlines plastered all over where Mike Gundy admits to driving drunk a thousand times I think he's a very underappreciated coach been there almost 20 years and since 2010 this guy has something like seven to 10 or seven 10- win Seasons that's impressive at an Oklahoma State program with Texas and Oklahoma now no Texas in Oklahoma what can he do if he stays there another 10 years I see uh some conference championships coming and who knows maybe he can finally get them over the hump very impressive coach and these are very interesting games in the noon slot Michigan and Texas Syracuse and Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State Arkansas moving to the 330 slot CBS we got the shawk Iowa Iowa State Iowa State of course coach by Matt Campbell an Ohio boy uh we always root for Ohio boys here at Juck on bucks Ohio's still the Cradle of coaches and the Hawkeyes a two and a half Point favorite at kinnick Stadium the total just 35 a half points which is the low of any game on the board this week and I'd love to go back last year and see just how many times Iowa was involved in the game that had the lowest total of the week as for the line I think the Hawkeyes are going to cover two and a half at home uh come out and score they scored 40 points last week listen Iowa's playing offense now and Iowa playing offense is a scary proposition they got themselves a little quarterback they're going to be okay I already thought that their their total heading into the year of seven games that win total they're going to go way over it uh they're going to Beat It by minimum two games their schedule is very manageable and if they're playing offense they're going to crush that win total that was my bet of the year um they're going to get that easy and early two other 330 games that I'm gonna have my eye on this one kind of a snoozer for many but Utah hosting Baylor Utah a 15-point favorite I really want to see cam Rising cam Rising Kyle whittingham's quarterback was out the entire season last year they teased us every week we thought he was coming back they never said he was out I like this college injury report that's come out now let's hope it's accurate but been a long time since we've seen him but not just him in the Battle of quarterbacks we've got dcoin Finn remember him from Toledo he transferred to Baylor excited to see this dude play again he's an absolute stud and I'm rooting for him he's electric so you never know the big 12's wonky we got a 15-point line I'm going to go ahead and go with Baylor also at 330 Kentucky host South Carolina ky's giving 10 points the Kentucky Buckeyes as they have infiltrated our state and taken all the players that Ohio state did not want right on the cusp Mark dantonio at Michigan State laid this strategy in this blueprint that you can build a very competitive team taking those next best guys out of Ohio and in Kentucky you got two youngst toown dudes who can really recruit the state of Ohio and Mark STS and Vince marrow in the class of 202 five these guys got Maris Davis the best running back in the state of Ohio in my opinion Preston Bowman who Brian Hartline really wants Cedric wks a top 100 to 200 prospect on the edge that we didn't really pursue Quinton Simmons another Ohio wide receiver Jil Atkins a 6 fo8 290 pound tackle that Ohio State didn't want as well as Tucker Curtis 6 foot5 285 pound offensive lineman from St X that was also not offered by Ohio State anyway Stoops takes on Shane Beamer in South Carolina 10-point favorite South Carolina freshman Edge rusher Dylan Stewart was the most dynamic defensive player in the entire country last week as a freshman we almost got this kid we did not South Carolina did can we get him in the portal when Beamer gets fired I want to see him in action I can't wait but I'm still taking Kentucky minus 10 game three of the midday slot this one not too super intriguing but I do want to see another game of Aiden childes at Michigan State as they head to Maryland just uh Maryland an eight and a half Point favorite Michigan State looked like a team that was playing pretty tough under new coach Jonathan Smith childes told us last week to take the over and then they came out and scored 17 points we'll see if he can back it up this week um so those are the 330 games the midday slot Iowa Iowa State South Carolina Kentucky Michigan State Maryland not a great midday slate the evening we got some bangers but there is one that's kind of off the beaten path that I am going to keep my eye on I'll probably rewatch this one Alabama South Florida Alabama's a 29 and a half Point favorite remember last year this was the game that milro got benched uh I don't see a chance of this one being so close but I didn't get to see kin dor and I really want to see what he's got going on over there and why this ridiculous ESPN FBI fpi that I'm about to destroy has them as the second most likely team to win the national championship of course our Buckeey start at 7:30 on the Big 10 Network um the same time as three of the biggest games of the week which is annoying I don't like to do the Buckeyes on a split screen I like to dedicate all my time to the game especially now that I'm taking notes for the postgame show uh but we could really use one of these games in the 330 slot we not We're not gonna get it um Nico Nico yava I think I'm getting better at the pronunciation of that last name 14th ranked Tennessee they head into Charlotte to play a neutral St game against NC State Tennessee is an eight-point favorite Nico is a must-watch he started the bowl game last year against Iowa looked pretty good started last week and killed it in his first start at nean Stadium set the alltime first half passing record at Tennessee 314 yards his balls were smooth and on point now he goes against an NC State team with a solid defense people thought this NC State team might compete for the ACC the secondary struggled a little bit against Western Carolina and they lost a safety to injury it'll be a s a stiffer test for uh for Nico but it's GNA be a fun one I'm gonna go with NC State staying in that eight points Tennessee wins but I'm taking Grayson McCall and NC State plus the points I do think that Nico is gonna absolutely look great in this game I can't wait to see him back up that performance I think this guy's going to be a star I think this guy's going to be a star and all that talk we've talked a lot about Tennessee recently with the whole David Sanders situation but uh you know the truth is that's a program on the up and up but the wolf pack find a way to keep it close now in the second biggest game of the week we've got Colorado at Nebraska I have a tremendous amount of respect for Nebraska head coach Matt rule I think he is one of the best coaches that you could possibly hire I matter of fact I feel like this guy TR he crosses over he's just a guy that gets it people love to be around him they trust him with their money boosters are excited they want to support the program you could have this guy running a company whatever it is he's a great leader they're supporting it big time you saw the support with David Sanders they were all the way in he's turned around recruiting he's doing a great job in the transfer portal last year in his fourth game they played Colorado Colorado won Dion also his fourth game so this is the big grudge match the big re Now Matt rule didn't get to bring in his uh first round talented quarterback son and Travis Hunter to that game Matt Ru with a little bit more even footing this year as he's upgraded the talent still not nearly the talent um well I'd say he's got more Talent across the board maybe but you know the big name star power certainly at Colorado these are old rivals uh if if you weren't familiar Colorado and Nebraska absolutely hate each other and this game at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln is going to be just fired up this is a huge game for them the fans of Colorado and I mean the real fans of Colorado not the Hollywood set absolutely hate Nebraska Nebraska same way vice versa the 1994 Nebraska National Championship team will be in attendance for their 30-year reunion they've chosen this game to do it and they beat the number two Colorado Buffalo that year in route to their Championship that Colorado team had Cordell Stewart ran Salam I can't believe that was 30 years ago they had just beaten Michigan the week before on the Cordell Stewart Hail Mary to Westbrook this year Matt Ru in Nebraska facing another Dynamic quarterback in shador Sanders Matt Ru said shador is one of the best players he's ever played against met R is a smart dude played against a lot of guys he's very focused on this game his counterpart Deion Sanders focused on shador and Travis Hunter not being talked about enough in the media as he came out this week and said you got a guy who threw for the most yards in college football and you got a guy who proved that he was the most spectacular player in college football shouldn't those two be talked about all week as the leading Heisman guys or the weekly Awards but it's almost like no you can't do that their coaches Deion Sanders we can't do that I'm not going to let him get away with that well Travis Hunter did win win the Paul horning award shador Sanders did not win the DAV O'Brien award he was an honorable mention instead cam W did cim Ward went into the swamp and absolutely showed out shador Sanders showed out at home against an FCS School seems pretty clear-cut to me but Dion uh his list of grievances is as deep as his Rolodex Dylan rayola started his first game last week he was very good he's a real improviser I enjoyed watching him he definitely models his game after Mahomes and he does a pretty good job of it he's got some actual real receivers they have definitely upgraded in that department Nebraska is going to be able to score here Colorado they're going to be able to score as well this game is gonna get massive eyeballs in Dylan rol's second ever start this is a huge opportunity for this guy the environment is going to be electric and with Colorado we get kind of a bonus right usually you got to be a good team team to get this kind of excitement and this kind of energy and we just we love big energy games this one's got it with Colorado we get this bonus of having a team that's not even good but you got this energy surrounding your game so it's gonna be a hell of a lot of fun um Nebraska's minus 7even and a half in the game the total 58 and a half I'm gonna go with Colorado I think they're going to get in those points but I do think Nebraska is gonna win the game and I'm gonna take the over so over 58 and a half Nebraska does not cover Colorado gets in the points and for our late night cap um that team out west USC they got a snoozefest with Utah State but Oregon takes on Boise State on peacock Network so if you got peacock you can watch the Ducks Oregon giving 19 and a half points almost every single mock playoff bracket that we saw from the beginning of the Season had a very lazy toss of Boise State in as the FC CS team I think I did it too because I just didn't whatever I don't care the FCS should not be included in this thing automatically they should have to earn their way into the top 12 of the rankings so a lot of people just tossed Boise in there because what think group of five you know Boise right off the rip okay Boise we'll stick them in there so coincidentally a whole lot of those brackets also had Oregon being the runner up in the Big 10 and the five SE which means this was the playoff matchup that everybody had in their bracket a whole lot of them I think I had it in mind as well um not even thinking that these guys played this year but they do so Oregon and Boise State which could be potentially a playoff game they're going to play 19 and a half Point favorites for the Ducks Oregon comes off a very lackluster performance their offensive line looked terrible they average less than than three yards a carry against Boise State uh Boise State's running back Ashton juny scored six touchdowns last week and Boise needed it Oregon's opponent Idaho lost their four best players to the transfer portal before playing Oregon and Oregon needed them to lose their four best players or Idaho might have won Oregon with just 107 total rushing yards Dylan Gabriel did throw for close to 400 uh 4.3 yards per pass everything just looked not so hot with Oregon and I do expect them to have a big bounceback game here I think they're absolutely gonna mollywop Boise State and we are not going to see Dan Lanning pouting after this game we'll see the question is do you have peacock will you be able to watch the game I think I ordered peacock last year for the one Buckeye game that we had on peacock and never canceled it which which is exactly what the hell they're banking on right so I still got peacock from last year for the one Buckey game that was on peacock and they got me they got me for a whole year subscription off of one game it's a hell of a business model a little bit Shady little bit Shady of a practice all right I got a little rant here as if I I mean I'm a lot of the show is rants but I got a different rant here ESPN fpi has given Oregon a 1% chance to win the national championship and I know this because I heard it 10 times yesterday now there are power rankings everywhere Sports Books use hundreds of Power Rankings to set one single game line one betting line fpi is ESPN's formula and somehow this thing always spits out controversial results it's almost as if it's designed that way like Alabama being the number two most likely team to win the national championship I guess what I don't understand is why I keep hearing about this one particular power ranking why does the ESPN fpi probability ranking keep getting spit out in my feeds why do I keep hearing about it why do we care about one power ranking what does ESPN stand to lose in their power ranking do they stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars no guess who power rankings stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars the the hundreds of them that make up the Vagas lines so the ones that have actual consequences say one thing but whenever this ESPN thing pumps out its numbers I Gotta See 45 articles about it six tweets and six tweets per minute and hear about it all over podcast and I don't understand why anybody is putting any Credence into this thing that is clearly just to generate traffic I literally had somebody tell me Ohio state was the underdog to win the Big 10 because ESPN fpi said so now if ESPN fpi opened a Sportsbook right now they would not use fpi to set their odds I guarantee it they have Oregon currently as the 10th best odds to win the national championship currently at any sports book Oregon is not that you bet 100 bucks to win Oregon you win 700 bucks if you use dsn's fpi you bet 100 bucks on them you'd be shelling out 3500 bucks they lose their keester they would not use their own fpi so they wouldn't stand by it why are we talking about it it is hereby banned at Juck on bucks we will never speak on it again now
