Isaiah Mozee Commits To Nebraska | Nebraska Football Recruiting News

welcome back to another episode of rock boys football Matt rule the Nebraska Corn Huskers land another massive commitment in the 2025 class as four-star wide receiver Isaiah mosy flipping his commitment from Oregon to Nebraska and for the Nebraska fans who've been rocking with the fellas the last couple of weeks and months as we've talked Nebraska on the recruiting Trail we've really highlighted and stressed the importance of this kind of player Nebraska picking up at the high school level guys that are just Elite with the football in their hands you go back to the 2023 season yes the quarterback struggles were very much noted by the national media analyst but I think what a lot of Nebraska fans also realized there wasn't a ton of elite Playmakers on the offensive side of the football there weren't those players that when your offense is struggling you can just find ways to get the football into their hands and let good things happen you're seeing Nebraska you know stack that kind of Talent on the high school recruiting Trail you back to the 2024 cycle guys like jakori Barney or even someone like Carter Nelson the offensive playmaking is going in the right direction quickly for this Nebraska program and I think that's a massive storyline right you're gonna have Dylan Rola for the next couple of years you want to make sure he has the talent around him to really have this offense takeen to the next level Isaiah mosy is one of those guys really excited to get into the film this was a guy that when we talked about the commitment to the Oregon Ducks I was absolutely in love with the Nebraska fans I think you guys are going to have a blast checking out the film before we do it as always a massive shout out to the Nebraska fans me whether we're talking the recruiting Trail covering what we're going to see in the 2024 season the amount of support yall continue to show to the fellas it means the world if yall do enjoy the content consider subscribing to the channel without further Ado let's get into Isaiah mosy and I think where you want to start is this cat is kind of built like a running back right at 61185 you see him play plenty of running back during the high school during his High School junior season I think that's really important because when you have a wide receiver that you want to get the football to often you want them to be physically put together isaah mosy is one of those guys I he has a very thick lower half he deals with contact exceptionally well for that size and then the short area quickness and the feel that he has with the football in his hands that's what makes Isaiah mosy one of the most dynamic Playmakers in this 2025 cycle I mean whether it's screens whether it's end rounds whether it's carries out of the back field when he has the football on his hand his ability to make people Miss in space it's kind of Next Level and again when you have these kind of guys within this offense it's going to get a lot more easy to manufacture explosive plays we have those wide receivers guys like Malachi Coleman who are going to win vertically who are big bodies that fly down the field we need more wide receivers that can create in those short intered immediate route Concepts that can operate with the football in their hands that's what Isaiah mosy brings to the table for this Nebraska offense and something that was sorely missed in the 2023 season you get into the film and again the film is it's an absolute blast because one of the things you're realize when you dive into it it is so easy to get Isaiah mosy involved in this offense I mean there's going to be so many different ways you really well we talk about the movement skills you primarily see those movement skills when he has the football on his hands you can translate those kind of movement skills in terms of how he runs his routes how he's able to create separation kind of just a drag just a special feel one making people Miss but more importantly his ability to deal with contact I mean that's three guys he's 61 185 he's not the biggest cat on the football field but his ability to stay on his feet it's kind of next level to a kid like this his hands working through obviously he's got some really good straight line wheels too I don't think that's his calling card he's not a guy that flies like Malachi Coleman two things you realize one short area quickness but more importantly there's a certain element of just having a good feel when you have the football in your hands Isaiah mosy shows that right kind of a basic screen we're just going to navigate through traffic and he has that ability that if you're going to be a safety and you have bad angle on him he's gonna run right by it he does have some nice long speed you know Nebraska Matt rule wants to collect Playmakers and speedsters within this Nebraska offense a mosy has that as well again kind of just a basic screen makes people miss with absolute ease gets in and out of his breaks really good contact balance he checks all the boxes in terms of what you want in a playmaker and again why I love is mosy so much it is easy to get this kid involved in the offense you see him get plenty of reps as a running back and again really good feel in terms of evaluating spe space this this jump cut at the second level is nuts I mean again it's just hard to find guys that have the movement skills that Isaiah mosy does then you see the contact balance he brings so many different elements in terms of how he can be a weapon within this Nebraska offense again it just felt like Nebraska didn't have this kind of player right we like someone like Billy Kent but he wasn't extremely Dynamic with the football in his hands when you have guy like Isaiah mosy becomes much easier for your quarterbacks to have some easy throws where you can create explosive plays with not necessarily pushing the ball down the field there are two ways that you can manufacture explosive plays get a sense of the wheels there you can either push the ball down the field which Dylan R is going to do plenty during his career at Nebraska but you can also manufacture explosive plays by just getting the football into players hands early in space and let them do the rest these kind of wide receivers I wouldn't even call them a wide receiver I just call them an offensive playmaker these kind of offensive Playmakers makes it so much easier on quarterbacks and offensive coordinators to start hitting those explosive plays that Nebraska just could not hit in the 2023 season again just tremendous feel in terms of having the football in space understanding space and knowing where to go I I am a massive fan of this kid I think it is kind of one of those players that we said Nebraska needs to get in this 2025 class in order for this offense to take that step he becomes the number one ranked player in the 2025 cycle you start looking up and down this Nebraska 2025 cycle a couple things that stand out one Isaiah mosy Jamari and Parker two guys that they're going to be explosive Playmakers within this Nebraska offense but what I would do is kind of go down to a guy like Jackson Carpenter who's one of the faster wide receivers in this 2025 cycle runs a 107 in the 100 meter dash how does Jackson Carper Carpenter and Isaiah mosy kind of compliment each other and Jackson Carpenter is one of those guys kind of like Malachi Coleman that is going to work vertically down the field it's a big frame it's a fast athlete if you're a safety if you're a defensive coordinator you got to respect what some of these kids can do working vertically down the field and when you have that respect from defensive coordinators playing their safeties towards the boundary it's going to create a lot more space for guys like Isaiah mosy to work in the underneath short intermediate rout tree and if you can open up space for a guy like Isaiah that good things are going to happen with this Nebraska offense so not only am I a big fan of Isaiah mosy because he's a really good football player and he fits what Nebraska needs kind of like how he's slotting in within this Nebraska wide receiver room in the 2025 cycle coach Garrett Maguire doing a really good job building a diverse pass catcher room around Dylan Rola over the next couple of years Nebraska's training for guys like Michael Terry we've seen some of the Intel about David Sanders potentially going to Tennessee Nebraska's in it for some difference makers down the stretch of this 2025 class we'll see what Nebraska can do we'll obviously keep you guys updated appreciate y'all rocking with it again if y'all do enjoy the content consider subscribing to the channel appreciate you guys and we'll talk to yall later peace
