yo listen so Katy Balter yesterday I'm straight into it I'm not messing about now straight into it ktie Bolter yesterday thank you um uh loses the first set 63 against kalinina right from Ukraine and then just goes nah forget it give her a walk over I'm like this is look the amount of effort that this tournament put in to run brilliantly and uh you know I'm so impressed with the tournament and yes it's been downgraded but there's still some a grade you know you've got one two you've got uh two Grand Slam champions Sloan Stevens um and H what's the other name uh uh COV uh yeah I'm sure it's Cova I can never say it Kika that's it Kika yeah so you got two Grand Slam champions there you know it's it's it's all right he Watson went out but hether Watson I mean bus over is a tough tough match but finish the match Fin and this is the thing and you could say why do we criticize British players more cuz we're British for for one yeah and you want your bre so either don't come into the tournament at all I hate it when people see how it goes because the greatest athletes don't see how it goes the greatest athletes know what they're going to do now ktie Bolter isn't one of the greatest athletes uh in British sporting history yet she's good and she has world class ground strokes uh uh uh ground strokes are phenomenal like I keep saying in all my videos yeah if she could move she would win well I don't know about winning Grand Slams but definitely get to the latter tournaments of major tournaments um the latter stages of major tournaments but what what what what confuses me is that mindset of let's see how it goes if she had any niggles at all from her uh winning of Nottingham don't come to Birmingham now there's two reasons why I think she did come one was uh she was on an appearance fee so they would have uh Birmingham would have paid an appearance fee uh well not Birmingham but the tournament organizers would have paid an appearance fee yeah to try and get her there her or Emma one of the two obviously Harriet Dart was there she won I think Harriet Dart now is the only only English girl left cuz ailia reie went out yesterday so it's just how at dark now which I'm happy about um haret darts another one of my favorite players now and the second reason why Bolter would have come to the tournament is exactly that to see how it goes I don't buy the the the psychology of seeing how it goes you either enter a match to finish the match or you don't enter at all and that's what I'm saying I don't understand the psychology because and see this is this is where the psychology bit comes into it and I'm going to go a little bit deeper this is where the psychology bit comes into it so she would have said to herself oh the fans will understand because I've I've just uh won Nottingham and I I played two matches so they'll understand why I've pulled out and my response to that is no you wouldn't we don't understand fans don't understand fans don't want to understand fans want to see tennis fans want to see the best players playing tennis of which k Katy Bolter is one of yeah we don't want s we don't want to give sympathy we don't want sub stories what is that woman that she's notter yeah um we don't want sympathy we don't want sub stories we don't want to deal with oh you know she she just played two tournaments so no do you get what I mean it's why it's why when so for me you either come and listen players pull out all the time but ask yourself this how many players the greatest players pull out none yeah none I'm sure there was some stat about Roger federat has never has never um go go go go go what Roger feder has never um he's not gone to tournaments but he's never pulled out a match he's always finished a match learn from the best it's that easy the reason why the best of the best is cuz they're there there to learn from uh um yes what I was going to say so it's a shame for whatever reason uh uh she pulled out pulled out gave kellina a walk over no that's my I'm going up against that mindset of seeing how it goes oh I'll see if I can play I'll See nah and that's why I'm saying when yes she might have Matt little as a strength conditioning coach but for me that's where your strength and conditioning says if you if you're trying to save yourself for Wimbledon don't play it at all so you have use it as a warm-up and you stay out there and it doesn't matter if you stink out the game no no no one cares if you stink out the game do your best and this is what I mean when you say uh how far are you willing to push yourself for greatness how far are you willing to go to the well and achieve how far are you willing to to come out of your comfort zone yeah what are you willing to do for me you stay out there till the till till the end and it doesn't matter if you got if you're hitting left-handed forehand yeah it doesn't matter if you're um yeah left-handed forand and bloody on one leg you finish the match you finish the match that should be that should be the the that should be the the uh the brand requisite of of being involved in in your tennis in a tennis match the same as a boxer yeah if you're not right don't even get in the ring if you get in the ring it's or it's better to go down but like N I just don't I just don't buy so and um years ago I was one of the assistant coaches at um Sol H Ms and I never forget this and I always use this as one of my um I always use this as one uh uh of my examples of psychology how how you convince yourself of something I always use this as psychology and they used to be this player I can't remember his name but um I remember once he got sub about 60 minutes and um so Mo was in a final we was in a final somewhere can't remember where but somewhere and uh as he came off and he says to the bench he says to the bench he says oh uh gaffa saving me for the final and I just I just pissed myself laughing but no he's not he's playing rubbish do you get what I mean but in his mind he had to tell himself that to protect his his confidence the Gaff is saving me for the final Gaff is't saving you for anything yeah g the the the and I'm going to give you another example of how psychology shapes your game so uh like so that guy he said you know gaffa saving himself for the final saving him for the final gaffa wasn't now another example was you see um I think is it Steven Miller whatever his name is Steven Miller or Steven rght whatever his name is he's he's one of the um football presenters and he was on a podcast and he was basically saying in the podcast that um a l he's basically saying in the podcast that uh that oh yeah Rafa bonitz said he was going to go to um the Champions League final yeah and then and then he changed his mind and um it didn't take him now that's upsetting for the person who the change the mind about and didn't take 100% that's upsetting however look at this what I'm trying to say when you're going to win something thoughts and feelings and how and all emotion go out the window it's all about can you win it's all about winning that is it so he's done whatever he's needed to do to win the match yeah that's right I mean know listen like And subscribe guys um I'll talk about it later on but I'm in the building now so more chatos have a good day people like And subscribe trying to reverse who's who's parked at an angle like that ridicul oh I can't do three no
