hi David LA from the tennis podcast what how were you feeling out there today did you did you not feel 100% I don't know what to say right now uh I mean uh first of all I think he he played great uh he played a really good tennis I thought he was going to give me more more points uh I'm going to say more free points you know uh so he didn't uh he didn't make a lot of mistakes that I that I thought he was going to to do so I was uh you know confusing a little bit and he didn't know how to how to manage that how to deal with with it uh I I uh couldn't uh you know increas my level uh I think my level stayed at the same point all the mats uh and it wasn't it wasn't enough uh to uh to win the match uh or to give myself the chance to uh to getting into the match or or trying to to give myself uh myself chances uh so you know what can I say I didn't feel uh well you know hitting the ball I think I made uh a lot of mistakes uh and when I wanted to uh to come back or I think I wanted to to come back it was uh it was it was too late D car Carlos Daves tennis.com just looking back at the schedule rolling Aros Wimbledon in Olympics as busy as it was do you feel like in retrospect you came into this tournament with less energy than you might have in years past uh probably uh yeah I mean uh the the tennis schedule is so tight uh I mean I've been I've been playing uh a lot of matches lately uh you know with ranga Ros with wion Olympics games uh I I took a little bit a little break uh after the Olympus game uh I thought it was it was enough it was a really helpful for me uh probably wasn't he wasn't wasn't enough but uh yeah probably I came here with uh not as much as much energy as I thought that I was uh I was going to to come um but uh I mean I don't want to uh to put that as a excuse uh but uh yeah he he so tight probably I'm uh I'm a guy or I'm a player who needs more more days or more more break uh coming into the the good tournaments or the important ones so I have to think about it and they have to learn about it and and let's see really Carlos what were your emotions like during the match and what are you feeling right now it was a a fight against myself you know in my mind uh during the during the match uh you know in in tennis you you you are playing against someone that wants the same as you is to win the the match uh and you have to to be as much calm as you can just to to to think uh to think better in in the match and and try to to do uh good things and today I was uh playing against the opponent and I was playing against myself uh you know in my mind so it's I mean a lot of emotions that I couldn't control uh it was kind of um it was uh uh I mean I I was up in some points then I lose some points I got I get down it was a roller coaster let's say my mind so it can uh it can't be like that if I want to uh to think about big things so I have to I have to improve it I have to to to learn about it two more in English Tani and then Simon to from the guardian uh you said that you weren't sure what to do in the match have you ever felt like that much like on the court before well few few uh a few matches that I felt like like that uh and you know after after every uh every month that I felt like that I always uh said said the same I was said to learn about it I have to think about it and if I'm feeling what I'm thinking right now that I that I'm not changing uh and that's the that's the problem if I'm going to sit here after uh after the matches that I'm going to feel or I felt uh like that that I couldn't I couldn't deal with with it I couldn't uh change the match or I couldn't uh push me up a little bit
