last night I want to talk about what was the expectations you know before the game and then uh you know how do y'all feel after the game you know with the result that y'all had I go first uh our expectation going into the game was to dominate come out faster but we ended up coming off a little slower uh got there a little bit later stretch took a little bit longer than what we needed so we came off a little bit slower than we wanted to yeah you know the plan was to dominate uh I feel like we we could have came out faster and more aggressive like he said we didn't get that much time to you know warm up and get everything settled but you know we finished the job and won so that's that's what matter uh I feel like we didn't come out with enough energy we were supposed to come out dominate we wanted no point score on the board for real for real but you know we came out late they stretch for real you know we going to get better though yeah I want to talk about like what y'all can do you know moving forward to uh you know kind of eliminate the the slow start and and uh what y'all can do to you know get the the rest of the guys going um I say had a mindset of treating every game like gu our last um not treating nobody differently nobody lightly treating them with the same expectation as every other team yeah yeah I'll say we underestimate it then for sure uh you know come out the same like you said every game uh player play like it's your last for sure for sure yeah I say what they said yeah for sure for sure uh for you Bryce I want to talk about uh what are your expectations you know for this season uh moving forward you know both personally and for the team um for the team I'm going start with the team uh I want to end off with the state championship again of course um my personal goals this year less than three interceptions this year and over 60 total touchdowns 60 total I love it I love it um I want to talk about the work you know you put put in to get to this point in your career uh where you're the number one quarterback in the country and not only number one quarterback you're the number one player in the country talk about just the work that you put in to get here um it's unexplainable honestly like you could go to through my Instagram through my Social Media stuff like that pay attention to all the work that I put in that's just a little bit of it a little half of it so yeah when did you start playing quarterback when I was six at six nice you know uh I also want to talk about like you know how this affected you your life and your family's life you know um just seeing the result of your work and and all the sacrifice that you know your family's put in for you for sure uh my dad mainly my dad um didn't have everything in the world but still gave me everything that he had just for me to be the best I could be at so it was only right that I could be that for sure for sure I want I want you to talk about the same thing just you know uh the work you put in the to get to this point yeah you know uh I start I've been living football since I can remember so like my goal has been to go to the league and I know it's always somebody out there working so my mindset is I got to work harder than everybody else and putting that work and coming to Belleville I say for sure helped me get that much better like being able to compete with other other best players in the state like me and AD go that every day like like but it's love or or at the end of the day you know Bry push me to be better you know being around them type of players it just make you it just make you that much better and you know I've been working my whole life and come here just made me work that much harder yeah talk to me ad uh I've been playing football since I was six since I was little like but I always played with dogs so like there I want to compete with them and practice all the time they make me better um then when I came to Belleville me and B since freshman year we had go he go to quarterback training I go with him get get some work in catch passes get our chemistry together that's how it got to how we is now just the chemistry we just built up chemistry for sure Elijah you know you're committed to Pittsburgh you know you play both sides of the ball at a high level uh at Belleville I just want to talk about your role as a leader of the defense you know and coming in and being a playmaker on offense yeah you know uh people always tell me I'm a leader like that's natural you know I kind of I kind of was born with that being a leader um you know like I said coming to Beville made me that much better of a player I get to compete with the best every day we got the best receiver and DB Corp so you know we explosive all around we compete and practice um and then yeah just being a leader you know that's what I do um make sure we all know what we doing make sure we all on the same page uh be aggressive on Def defense aggressive on offense Sor touchdowns get interceptions fumbles everything so all around dog team sure uh Adrian this this uh question is for you you know um I seen you make a lot of plays uh both last year and this year um in my opinion I consider you to be very very underrated uh you got good speed good playmaking ability um I want I just want to know like where you can consider yourself amongst the top guys in the country well me I'm going to keep it real uh in the country I say top 10 top 15 cuz like you will see people being ranked high but then you will see them like you would play with them but they not really like you know like they not it's just be politic sometimes it be off of offers and stars just you know like I say top 10 top 15 yeah uh just talk about you know some of the things that you bring to the table both offense and defense offense I feel like not even just catching the ball or making plays I feel like I give offense energy bring energy to the table in the game on defense I could come down hit play defense uh manto man Zone get picks physical I'm a ball Hawk on defense yeah yeah for sure man um and I want y'all to go kind of go one by one on this question I just want y'all to talk about y'all parents you know talk about the sacrifices that made for uh for y'all to be able to do what y'all do um you know because everybody is not fortunate to have great situations not saying that y'all have you know great situation and everything been made for y'all but um you know I see the way that y'all carry ourselves and and and and the way y'all locked in you know as as boys first and then his teammates so um just you know and that comes from good parenting you know we we'll never let that go you know uh unnoticed so just want to talk about uh you know those sacrifices that y'all see every day you know um you know getting yall places you know paying for stuff that you know parents might not have it at the time but they making sacrifices to do it so just go one by one uh and and you know get y parents y'all they flowers all right I'll start uh I say my parents overall made a sacrifice every single weekend when I was in Little League you know didn't have it at all the time still make sure I had C make sure I had a TI to play make sure I had a new football you feel me every single weekend you know like my dad now like work about eight hours before D now he come to practice PR you a coach up at bille and stuff that like that running back coach and there every single day high energy Never Letting nobody took their tail and be the greatest they can be so it's like the influence they have on me is like I can never come up short with them being my parents and motivating me and stuff like that so for sure what about your mom mom's support suppor us man she like every single every single game you hear in the sideline like she end up on the field almost every single game I don't know how she get down there but she end up being down there motivating my team pushing my teammates to be the greatest they can be every time somebody at my house of my teammates or anything like that they treat them like they're her own kids you feel me like sure she never going to leave you out leave you out to draw ever so sure yeah I say I start my dad like my dad played in college so you know but I say like with him he never forced me to have to do nothing like I always wanted to work and he was always there you know he putting a lot of time working just so I can have what I needed and you know I never saw it that much like personally like he kind of kept it under it but you know he work hard so for him to make all them sacrifices for me just for me to be able to do what I do now and you know we had to move and all type of different stuff they putting a lot of money into me so you know I I got to make it for real and then my mom you know she work hard every day uh late nights um so yeah you know I love my peoples sure ahead uh I understand wherever I go I'm representing my family my mom and my dad but like I'mma start with my I'mma start with my dad I'm going just go off yesterday yesterday no I practice on Thursday uh my dad he work at the barber shop he C here and uh he had a 2:30 o00 appointment and he missed his appointment just to take me to practice on Thursday cuz I I ain't had no ride to get to practice he missed work um my mama my mama is so supportive like she's supportive like I know she going to be there whenever I need her like every time she uh I hear her in the St for real but I don't really like I don't really hear her in the St for real but like if I score she the first person I look at every time I score she she'll yell my name and I'll give her a thumbs up or I yell her name back every time I score every single time like every single time nice bro um Bryce you know I know you have a sister you know I hear she's you know up and up up and coming uh volleyball player um I just want to talk about y'all relationship and uh how how much she means to you yeah that's my dog for real like this year was her yeah this year was her first year in volleyball I'm expecting her like okay like she not going to take it that serious this her first year this might not be something she want to do she was a dog at of her first year and me being who I I am I'm a motivator Pusher to be great every single day you know holding to the same standard as me you feel me but yeah that's my dog like that's my whole left hand know her better than I know myself yeah um you know just for the fans of LSU I want to talk about you know uh you know what they'll be getting as you enter your freshman year in the spring um a leader um I'm going do everything I can get on the field with my fresh mirror and probably the best going to show you I'm the best player on the field no matter how old I am 17 18 19 I'm going show I'm the best player on the field yeah well man I appreciate y'all for coming on man
