more good news for the 49ers Christian mcaffrey is supposed to return to practice today he has missed uh the last month or so with a strained calf unclear just how serious the injury is was he missed training camp and preseason I get the feeling he didn't really want to participate in training camp or the preseason anyway I mean most of the other vets didn't I you Trent Williams why should Christian mcaffry he's better than them he's the guy on the Madden cover so it's unclear whether this would have like actually cost him a game now it's game time they play in six days and he's back so something to monitor I mean if you're a fantasy football player and you have Christian mcaffry on your team and you're wondering how much is he going to play and you like ask it with your hand like that how much is he going to play this weekend because you're Italian um well then I I I I don't know he could have a full workload for all I know the Niners are you know kind of famous for the old misdirection make you think the guy's hurt and then boom he has 40 touches in one game I don't know they say they want to they want to they want to divvy up the touches and and split the workload this year do you believe them I don't necessarily believe him I think what Kyle Shanahan likes doing is calling plays for Christian mcaffry runs for Christian mcaffry passes for Christian mcaffry that's sort of what I've gathered covering this team the last few years Kyle likes Christian you know he went to his he went to his wedding you really think Christian invited him to his wedding so Kyle could start calling more plays for Debo I don't think so I don't think so so you know this is good news for Christian mcaffry the 49ers and Christian mcaffrey owners in fantasy football you know I don't really play fantasy football because people invite you me into their into their league and like oh this guy covers football he's you know kind of an expert and then I lose and they're like hey what do you know about football I'm like you know what not that much a
