[Applause] [Music] hey everyone welcome back to our Channel today we're diving into the fall weather forecast for Metro Vancouver if you're curious about what to expect this season stick around according to environment Canada meteorologist Ken dange Metro Vancouver is in for a warmer start to fall as we kickoff meteorological fall on September 1st we can expect above normal temperatures for the first 2 weeks on Sunday September 1st temperatures in the Lower Mainland could reach the upper 20s and even hit the low 30s Inland but don't worry these hot temperatures won't last long enough to trigger a heat warning after Sunday temperatures will drop back to around the seasonal average on Monday which is Labor Day and Tuesday by mid-september summerlike conditions will start to WAN as a broad upper trough brings cooler air into the region this shift could be the first real hint of fall according to looking ahead Environment Canada predicts above average temperatures to continue through October and November but with low probability and as we move into winter it's likely to be a lenina year which typically means wetter and cooler conditions for the Lower Mainland so there you have it stay tuned to our channel for more weather updates and be sure to subscribe for the latest news thanks for watching see you next time
