if you live along Texas's Gulf Coast or Louisiana's Gulf Coast you want to keep an eye on the forecast these next couple days as we are watching a development out in the Gulf of Mexico we are anticipating a low pressure system to develop into a tropical storm by tomorrow afternoon that's Monday afternoon and this is expected to track up the Gulf of Mexico and towards the Houston Bay Area and towards Western Louisiana's Gulf Coast now there's a lot of uncertainty with this system right now as to where exactly it's going to track and how much it's going to intensify as the Gulf of Mexico waters are extremely warm right now which can easily allow for Rapid intensification but we are dealing with a bit of shear and Shear can easily allow that tropical development not able to take off and not able to strengthen so there is a lot of uncertainty with this system so you definitely want to stay tuned these next several days
