we have some massive news to talk about with Space Marine 2 today we have brand new information all about the season pass when some of those season passes packs are going to be releasing also on that is the price we have a brand new number count to go off we're still breaking records with Space Marine 2 and finally we have patch notes which has been fixing some people's problems with their version of the game so let's jump in let's look at it all and let's get waffling now let's pop over to this screen so we can go through the information together over on Steam now they've just put up their brand new season pass page where you can go and buy it this is one of the new images that went along with it now and it details the full season pass battle plan like right now which is already available this is what launched with the game this is the first pack the ultramarines Cosmetic pack for those people who are not aware season two is going to be the Dark Angels and of course that's going to be a cosmetic pack a weapon skin and a champion the champion if I'm not mistaken is going to be for the bull walk season 3 is going to receive um a chapter which we all think is going to be blood angels themed and they'll probably get something like the assault or something and then season 4 another one and of course on top of that there's brand new game modes and stuff releasing but that is just the Cosmetic that is just the paid things now if we go over to the actual steam page itself you can see the price of it if you've bought the base game and you did not buy the gold or the ultra Edition which came with a season pass then you're going to be shelling out $35 runos or 35 British pounds if you want to buy this season pass separately now the information that goes along with this clears some of the questions up like when is this stuff going to be releasing so we know the tining pack is available right now now season 2 is before the end of 2024 so before the end of well December basically we're going to get the next bit the dark Angels bit but this is really interesting now going into the year 2025 so season 3 is winter 2025 and the winter months if I'm not mistaken go all the way from is it the end of November all the way to February so expect it around the February time or just before February before we're going to get the season 3 pack and of course that is probably going to feature the blood angels as I mentioned and then season 4 which is the one which we don't really know what it could be I know there's a lot of fairies out there at a moment my favorite is Imperial fist of course and uh you know you get like skins like the Crimson fist the subjugators with all the decals on there maybe some cool looking armors for like the Space Marines and when it comes to the black Templars and all that kind of stuff with a chapter Champion but a lot of people are saying salamanders white scars which I can definitely see even ravengard you know the squawky boys are right there but that is all the details now if you want to go look it for yourself it's now fully available over on Steam next up it's all about the the numbers and as you can see over here we've broke the record that was previously set I think it was 140,000 people but today is the official release of Space Marine 2 every version that was available to buy can now all play together and you can see the peak we hit tonight is 225,000 nearly just nearly 226,000 one of the developers over on Steam tweeted this that said Space Marine 2 is the fourth most played game on Steam that's not counting like the console and anything like that I think it's fair to say as I was mentioned the other day when we did like the big breakdown of this that Space Marine 2 is a massive hit at the moment everywhere I look now all these big channels all these massive YouTubers and streamers they're all talking about it they're all making content about Space Marine 2o some people are jumping into the actual law and getting involved in it like what is a space r I'm just learning what the Imperium is who's rogal Dawn why is he the best Primark it's literally an amazing time if you are a Space Marine fan a warmer 40,000 fan because there's so much new people getting into it there's so many big people out there just playing the game and enjoying themselves it's like for me personally seeing other content creators who have never witnessed space ring before then play the game and understand why I'm so excited about the 40K IP and why I love it it does bring a massive smile to my face so hopefully this succeeds it's going to go in the right direction we get more content um more free content may I add um and all the like the awesome Maps um the brand new like Arena mode which is going to becoming the wave mode and stuff like that and this can't come soon enough now they need to keep this hype going we need the hype Brothers like the hype beacons let Space Marine burn Eternal and lastly just to finish off the video information that has been gathered around some of the patches that have been going live over the last couple of days to try and fix issues that some people have had it's mainly from what I've seen been con uh connection issues and some people's CPUs have been overheating but let's start with the Space Marine patch notes um on September the 8th where it fixed an issue where the game kept crashing during missions there was a fix which issue where the game crashed on the first cinematic a couple of my friends actually had that fix the controller not working in the game fix the infinite loading SL crash when launching operations fixed the connectivity issue on PS5 again a lot of my friends had that so hopefully that's all fixed fix an error code 14 that prevented matchmaking in Co-op and then on September the 9th as I'm doing this now it's September the 10th so this was the other day but I'm recording this in the early in the early hours of the morning fix the connectivity issues and improve server performance I've had no disconnects from the server today I've literally been playing the game for like eight 8 to 12 hours today um and I've had no problems with uh dropping out of servers um um just you know that loading bug that you had to reset your game with um I was having that all before when the game launched with a golden Ultra Early Edition but now I've had none of those issues at all one thing it does mention down there is upcoming patch target areas there's an upcoming patch out this week that targets several major issues with the game such as the multiple crash fix start the game first cut scene stuff improving the CPU overheating issue even more server improvements and a render buug improvements so the developers are aware of some of the issues that are going on at the moment they're trying to fix them and they're trying to put patches out if they do put that patch out this week of course
